5 The Island Trip.

Chapter 2

After a long week, finally the day came! The day from where the fun part start, trip to island!!

The whole squad, Alex, Sophia, Dean, Annie and Sean decided to meet at the airport.

Their flight was little early in the morning. Everybody had packed there bags on the next day of the booking so that was the reason that everybody were relaxed.

Well at least for now.

The flight was pleasant but a long one. So when they landed, everybody was little tired but also looking forward for all the adventures that they will experience. Alex gathered everyone, and counted all the bags and items and collected the passports and essential, as it was his responsibility, they had divided all the tasks among each other.

As they got out of the airport, they were searching for their pickup .

"There! Look look!.. Found it", Dean whisper screamed to draw the squads attention to the board holding person, the board says " The mourning island tourists ".

After following the direction where Dean was pointing, Annie and Sophia squeaked out of excitement " Eeeee! Here we gooo! ". They hurriedly followed and introduced themselves to the person standing there waiting for them.

He was actually the driver of the car, which will led them to the harbor and the tourist ferry will take them to main island where they were going to stay. They got into car and the journey began, Due to long flight and jet lag, all were tried as hell and like a stack of domino one by one everybody got sleepy and fall into a long slumber.

Driver looked back at the sleeping tourists and smiled fondly and should rather say out of empathy too, because although he was hired only 1 month ago for the tour company but he can't help falling for the rumors which were spread for the islands trips and what happen to tourists who visit. "Ohh,this lot of people look so lovely and youthful,i wish those rumors and just rumors, these children don't deserve to experience the horror", he thought he was thinking these thing in his mind, what he didn't register was that he was mumbling all that out loud.

And Sean heard him, but he pretended that he was still in deep slumber.

Sean got chills and felt uncomfortable but thought that he will discuss with others after they reached to harbor.

After getting little sleep all started waking up, and what a time to wake up.

They were surrounded by beautiful scenery and breeze was flowing, all in all , it felt like in heaven on earth. They atlast came to the place where ferry will came to pick them up.

When they were all taking out there luggage, Sean felt very nervous and confused so he gathered some courage and asked the driver what was he mumbling about. First, he was shell shocked when one of the tourist asked about the rumor, which he shyly admitted that he heard him mumbling. The driver then cleared up his throat and shuffled on one foot to another before he started speaking about the thing which can most possibly make him fired, but nonetheless he had to warn them.

" Some have experienced lot of strange things there, so many of them have gotten lost like in thin air, with no trace"..

"All people have seen some or other stuff happening but no one says a word when asked , it's like they have been traumatized of something"..

" Listen kid I have joined this company only a month ago, so I don't really know if this all is true or not, my work was to warn you guys and that's it, i have to go, my second shifts is going to start, bye bye", not giving chance to Max to ask more about it, he started the engine and with a warm smile left them.

Sean was surprised hearing those things and was just standing and staring at the direction where the driver took the road.

He didn't even realize that all the people were now starting to go on board of the ferry which just landed.

Alex called out him, "Sean! Come on man, ferry will leave soon", he flinched a little then gathered his thoughts and took his bags and started walking.

All settled around the desk, everybody was talking and whispering and were mesmerized by the view of beautiful sunset and glowing ocean which was surrounding them. Although Sean was not able to get the odd feeling out of his mind.

Others were able to see that. "Hey, what are you thinking?, you look like you saw something! ", Sophia asked.

" Ahh, sorry guys it's nothing big it's just.i was thinking about what the driver said to me when he left", Sean replied "Did he said something?.. Ohh that's why you were late, by the way what exactly was he talking about? ", Dean asked out of curiosity.

" He told something about rumors surrounding the island, weird-",

"Really!!!... I read about some too, but it was so vague", Sophia exclaimed " Did he told about it?! Did-", "let him speak Sophia, stop asking let him speak", Alex said with a sigh.

" Thank you Alex, otherwise she would not been stopped,

So as I was saying, he said something about missing person and people being traumatized and what not but I agree that it all sounded very vague", "I don't know what to think about it, it can be just rumors you know, I think I am overthinking", Max said.

" Ya but what's new, you always think sooo much", Annie said in a teasing tone everybody laughed about it.

Dean high-fived Annie and Sean just rolled his eyes but started smiling too.

Air become light and now actually Sean also started enjoying the ride and forgot about the people around him as he watched how beautiful waves were forming around them, low hum of engine was soothing and he felt at peace.

Well as peace as he could have received.
