71 Stairs

Walking to school with nothing in mind but my fight with my mother. I was asked to guard the poultry when she perfectly knows that I still have my exam coming up for today. It's as if she doesn't care about my studies at all. I climbed the stairs with that in mind letting my body went on an auto-pilot mode. I mean, how come she never asked my out-of-school brother to do those stuffs? Doesn't she really care about me at all? I'm starting to think I was adopted. I'm the only one being treated like this. She never told my brother to fetch her a pail of water from the water pump, the next time she would ask me that, I might just get water from the sewers. She's really being unfair to me. My brother was never asked to clean the dogs feces on the yard. It was always me. the next time she would ask me to do it I might as well rub the sh*t all over her face. Okay I might be being rude right now but they were rude first right? "Right" the voice in ny head answered. Now I'm talking to myself. I looked at where I was, I was still on the stairs. I thought I would be on the fourth floor by now considering it's the highest floor in the building. I thought I've been ascending for about half an hour now. I look for the floor nunber but there was none. I knew something was off. I quickly descended from the stair but I was brought back to the same floor. The place was a lot more different too. Did I enter a wrong school? No I think this one's the right one. I even tapped my ID earlier and my name did appear on the screen. I must be on the wrong building. I look out from the rail but all I could see was darkness. Not the usual darkness of the night. This one looked as if it was getting closer. I descended from the stairs faster and faster but it was like a never ending stair and everytime I look back, I can sense the darkness getting closer. I continued to run in the never-ending floor while there, in the campus, On the ground of the college building, lies the body of a student who just fell from the 4th floor.
