19 Leader

The girls were currently sitting in the CEO's office. He had called them to decide some important things regarding their debut. And boy was it serious.

Yang-Hyun Suk: " We have decided the name of your group will be '2ne1'. I have planned to release some information to the public about you group. The first member to be introduced will be the leader of your group. I want you to take a vote and decide who the leader of your group will be."

It was an easy decision for So-Young. CL (Chae-rin) was the leader of 2ne1. She was going to be the leader this time around too.

Yang-Hyun Suk: "So please nominate a leader for your group."

Bom: "I nominate So-Young."

Sandara: "Me too. So-Young."

Chae-rin: "So-Young is the best choice."

Min-ji: "I agree."

So-Young: "What! I thought Chae-rin unni would be the best choice."

Chae-rin: "What are you saying. You have been putting in the most effort for our group. All the ideas and themes have been thought out by you."

Sandara: "Give yourself some credit!"

Yang-Hyun Suk: "I will give you some time to discuss this among yourselves. Inform me of your decision by tomorrow."

The girls walked to the practice room. All of them were trying to convince So-Young to be the leader. They all trusted her abilities and wanted her to be the one in charge. She helped them a lot and was like a support that helped them keep grounded. It did not matter that she was the youngest. They needed her to be more confident about herself. After a whole lot of convincing, So-Young agreed to be the leader of the group.

The next day, the went to inform the CEO of their decision. He was satisfied with their choice. He then told them how they would release information of the members of the group one by one after some time gap.

Stage name: JG (So-Young had recommended this. It stood for

젊은 지도자 jeolm-eun jidoja. It meant Young leader. Also in Chinese, Jie-Jie meant elder sister which was kind of ironic in her situation as she was the youngest in the group but mentally the oldest )

Position: Leader, Main dancer, Main rapper, Main Vocalist, Maknae.

Lee Chae-rin

Stage name: CL

Position: Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Face of the Group

Park Bom:

Stage name: Bom

Position: Main Vocalist

Sandara Park:

Stage name: Dara

Position: Vocalist, Sub Rapper, Visual

Gong Min-ji:

Stage name: Minzy

Position: Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Lead Rapper

Yang-Hyun Suk: "It will be interesting to have a group with the youngest member being the leader. I hope you all will stay strong and be able to make it big."

The girls continued to work hard. They had finished the choreography for all their songs and now had to film the music videos for four of their songs. It came to a point where they unconciously started dancing the moment they heard their song. So-Young was playing the song in their room when Min-ji was sleeping. Min-ji started dancing in her sleep and Chae-rin and So-Young burst into giggles.
