1 year of practice..

1 year of determination...

1 year of frustration....

1 year of hard work.....

1 year of trust...

This was the things the five girls faced through their trainee period. Now, it was time to debut.

September 1st 2007

Everything was arranged. Their collaboration with big bang was going to air on national television today and the group '2ne1' was on its first step to become one of the most successful groups of all time.

So-Young was also different. She was turning 13 in a month. She had a sudden growth spurt in March. Now, she towered over the other members with a height of 177cm. She hoped that this would be her last growth spurt. Her looks had also matured. She had a long face with beautiful, clear eyes and a straight nose. Her hair black hair was cut short. There were long bangs that reached her eyes. The hair had dark blue highlights.

They had gone for a handsome appearance for So-Young. It would be a good contrast to have her like this in a group of four feminine looking girls. It was different and refreshing.

Because she was so tall, the four girls teased her by calling her big baby. She was the youngest in the group but was the tallest and mysterious looking out of all of them.

CL had gone for a more powerful women vibe. Minzy was going for a cute girl next door look. Sandara looked like a fairy and Bom went for the mature woman theme. All of the girls contacted and mixed well.

All the BIGBANG members, 2ne1 members and YG staff were sitting together in the hall waiting for lollipop to air on television. The girls and BIGBANG members had a fun time filming the music video. It was really casual and they were messing around. The girls grew closer to their Sunbaes during this time. They now spoke to each other informally and cracked jokes about each other.

Because of So-Young's handsome appearance, Sringeri once joked about her calling them 'Hyung' instead of the normal 'oppa'. The joke stuck around and she started calling all the BIGBANG sunbaes 'Hyung'.

The Sandara, Daesung and Bom were sitting together on one sofa. Minzy, Seungri and T.O.P were on another. Some YG staff members were sitting around the hall. So-Young, Taeyang and G-Dragon were sitting on the floor leaning back on the sofa. It was a really friendly atmosphere.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on the big screen in the hall. The ads stopped and their song started playing :

LOLLI LOLLI LOLLI LOLLIPOP...

So-Young burst out laughing looking at all of them wearing ridiculous outfits. They looked hilarious but it actually suited all of them. It only takes one matchstick to ignite a huge fire. The whole room burst into fits of laughter. So-Young could not take it anymore. She was hitting Minzy's leg while holding her stomach. Everyone else was also in a similar state.

When the chorus started playing, So-Young eyed Seungri and Daesung. They all got up and started dancing to the chorus. Soon rest of the girls and BIGBANG members joined in. Even some staff members started dancing. It was the most lively event that happened in the YG building in a long time.
