8 Dance Performance

Min Chan-sook asked them to arrange themselves into lines and started teaching them the dance. It was easy enough. There were just 25-30 different moves and the next part of the song was to be performed free style. Min Chan-sook went through the routine three times . "Did you all get that?" She asked. "YES MA'AM" all of them answered back.

"You will be auditioning together in 3 hours. Please practice!"

It was fairly easy for So-Young to keep up with the dance instructor. After all, she had trained in dance for quite a few years. Within the second time the dance instructor taught them the dance, she had grasped the moves. After she left, So-Young practiced the dance a few more times. She was completely unaware of the stares she was getting from the rest of the girls.

All of the other girls were struggling when they were trying to dance but when they saw So-Young easily grasp the moves, they were surprised. How was she able to do it so easily? Was she some sort of Prodigy?!

3 hours passed in the blink of an eye. The girls were all assembled in the big hall. The judges were present there as well. "I hope you all practiced well for this part of the audition. I wish you all the best! Play the music" came out Taeyang's voice.

Soon the room was filled with the sound of music and all the girls tried to perform to the best of their abilities. So-Young took a deep breath and started flowing with the music. It looked effortless and it felt as if she had practiced this for months. She stood out a lot. The rest of the girls in this group were dancing pretty well but not as good as So-Young. All eyes were drawn towards her.

Then the freestyle part came. So-Young had debated on what to do for her freestyle part. The music was quite upbeat and intense. It was meant for dance filled with energy. So, she decided to put use her athletic body. AS soon as the drop came in the music, She leapt into the air and performed a backflip. She then performed quite a few moves and ended with a split.

It was obvious that the judges were surprised. It was an unexpected thing. No one expected a 11 year old to do something so complex. Gasps filled the air.

Yang-Hyun Suk knew that there was something special about the girl. Her rapping and singing skills were impeccable. He just needed to confirm her dancing skills. She did not disappoint. He was sure he got a gem this time. And it was already almost fully polished. Just a bit more polishing and he was sure, she would bring a storm with her.

"We will announce the results in a few minutes. Please wait patiently." announced Yang-Hyun Suk.

All of the girls made their way back to the entrance hall. So-Young was happy. She had performed to the best of her abilities. If she was not selected even after this, it was just not meant to be. She felt light hearted. She called her mother and spoke to her for a few minutes. Then she just closed her eyes and waited for the results.

*half an hour later*

"The results are out!" Came a loud voice. "Please step forward when I call Your name."

"Lee Chae-rin. Gong Min-ji. Park Bom. Kim So-Young. I thank the rest of you for participating for this audition."

So-Young was shocked. That was the name of the 2ne1 members. She did not remember them participate in this kind of audition in her past life. 'Maybe this world is not exactly the same. There may be some small changes. I wonder if I exist in India right now. I should be a baby right now.'

She shuddered at the thought. The thought of existing in two bodies was disturbing. She pushed away the thought and told herself that she would look into it later.

So-Young got up and made her way to to announcer. She looked at the Three other girls standing next to and smiled. They smiled back at her. ' OMG! OMG! Don't freak out right now. They will be creeped out by me if I start fangirling. They are not even idols yet.'
