14 Baby Brother

After going back home and talking to her parents, So-Young had started packing her essential items. She barely took any clothes, She knew that they would be practicing a lot and would have no time for going out. Most of her luggage was recording equipment and her instruments.

* time skip ... 3 months later*

November 27th 2007,

So-Young got a call in the middle of the night. It woke her up from her dreams. She was hit on the back by a hand and someone started grumbling. "So-Yo it's late in the night. Who is calling you?"

It was none other than Chae-rin.

The girls had moved into the apartment that the CEO had arranged for them. There were three rooms and the girls had to share. They decided that one of the rooms would be for their dance and singing practice and two rooms would be used by them. The Younger of the five - Chae-rin, Min-JI and So-Young were in one room and the two of the eldest - Sandara and Bom - in the other. There was a small living room and a Kitchen in the apartment too.

So-Young got up and saw that the call was from her father. She went outside the room and picked up the call. "Dad, whatsup? its really...." She could not complete her sentence when her father's voice made her jolt with surprise. He sounded really worried.

Dad: "So-young I am really worried. Your mom is at the hospital. The baby is a week early!"

So-Young: "Don't worry dad. I am on my way! Which hospital are you at?"

After noting the address down, she rushed into her room and put on a hoodie and wore jeans in a hurry. Min-Ji and Chae-rin got up from the noise.

Min-ji: "What is wrong? "

Chae-rin: "Why are you in such a hurry? It is really late right now."

So-Young: "Mom.. Baby.. Hospital."

With that she made her way outside, grabbed her bicycle and went to the hospital. The hospital was a few kilometers away from the apartment, but she made it in 10 minutes. She was covered in sweat by the time she reached. She wiped of the sweat from her forehead, parked her cycle and ran up the stairs to her father. She saw him sitting outside the operation theatre. She went up to him and asked

So-Young: "Dad, is mom okay? Are there any complications ?"

Dad: "yes, she is okay. No complications. We were just caught off guard that the baby came so early."

So-Young: "Thank God. I got worried."

She plopped on the seat beside her dad and waited with him.

After 3 hours, the doctor came out and said, "Congratulations! It is a boy. Please come inside."

So-Young's mother looked exhausted but beautiful holding her baby boy. Both father and Daughter walked in and sat beside the bed.

So-Young: "It is a boy huh?"

Dad: "I told you so!"

Mom: "I thought it was going to be a girl."

Dad: "You were the one who wanted the gender to be a surprise!"

So-Young: "But he is so adorable! Did you decide on any names?"

Dad: "Well, we thought of Kim So-Hee for a girl and Kim Tae-Young for a boy."

So-Young: "Kim Tae-Young.... Kim Tae-Young. I like it. mom, you sure about it?"

Mom: "yeah.. i like it too."

So-Young: " I am going to call him Taetae. It sounds cute."

Dad: "it does."

So-Young: "So you guys are going to have two young children huh..."

Mom: "You and your puns... "

So-Young: " Hey! This was a good one. right dad?"

Dad: "sure"

So-Young: "You guys are so mean!"
