5 Auditioning at YG

So-Young walked in through the doors of the building and went up to the reception desk. "Excuse me, I am Kim So-Young. I have come for the auditions that are taking place today." The receptionist was a short and cute looking young woman. She was dazzled by looking at So-Young and couldn't answer her. "Hey pretty lady, could you please lead me to the auditions" said So-Young with a wink. The receptionist came out of her trance and told So-Young where the auditions were taking place. So-Young thanked her and walked down the corridor leading to the audition room.

The double doors were in front of her. Entering them would lead her one step closer to her dream. The thought made her both nervous and excited. 'Deep breaths So-Young you got this.' She took one last look at the intimidating doors and opened them. On the other side of the doors were the rest of the girls auditioning. Many of them were warming up. Some were stretching, others were singing. There was an atmosphere of energy. So-Young made her way to a corner where there were less people and begun warming up too.

Fifteen minutes later, a staff member came up on the stage and announced the beginning of the auditions. The girls lined up according to their audition number and were called in one-by-on into a room full of judges. No-one knew who the judges were. The first round of the audition would be where they perform a solo where they could display their rapping and singing skills. They would e judged according to their charisma,looks and potential.

After waiting for about an hour, it was finally So-Young's turn to perform. Her palms were sweaty and her heart was beating out of her chest. She took a moment to calm down and went inside the room. The room was brightly lit up and she could see the faces of the judges. They were none other than the CEO and of YG Entertainment Yang Hyun-suk, Kwon Jiyong or Gdragon -the future leader of the band BIGBANG that was going to debut in a year and Young-bae or Taeyang- the vocalist of the future band BIGBANG.

So-Young was stunned after seeing them. BIGBANG's members were right in front of her. She felt like rushing up to them and asking for an autograph but, she needed to calm down. After calming down, she knew she couldn't act rashly. The members had yet to debut and asking for an autograph would be suspicious as they had not released any music.

So, she calmly walked to the middle of the room and said, "I am Kim So-Young. Age 11. Last year of high school." The three judges were baffled. They couldn't believe that a 11 year old would be in the last year of 'high' school. Yang Hyun-suk asked her, "Are you saying that you are in you last year of high school at the age of 11?"

"Yes. I had skipped a lot of grades in between." So-Young replied with a straight face. If she did this on her own she would be proud of it. Considering her past life, her skipping so many grades was not a great achievement. But, to others, this was a huge deal. She was 5 years ahead of her peers. Even G dragon was baffled. He had also just passed out of high school. He was getting curious about this girl.

Despite them wanting to ask more questions to the girl, the knew it was not the time. There were other people waiting to audition and time was limited. So, they asked So-Young to perform her song.
