First.

Third person

Keeping in mind that she couldn't run any further, Kimmy ran even when her breaths were getting shorter and shallow. Her weapon was broke, and her jetpack's power was out. Kimmy knew that she had to escape, no matter how hopeless it was.

Breathing shortened at its limits, she looked around to see if there were any more guards around. When the coast was clear, she sat down and tried to calm down, but almost failed miserably.

"I have to get out of here, fast.." she mumbled to herself, even when she was alone in the dark forest, not far from the castle where she lives. Right then, she heard shuffles from a distance, and voices of men getting louder and louder. Kimmy panicked, she doesn't kmow what to do. If she makes a sound, she will get caught. Kimmy knows she couldn't run any farther. As she was trying to stay still, sitting not so comfortably behind the giant oak tree, a small, brown and furry thing that looks more like a tail jumped in front of her. Kimmy almost made a sound from surprise, but tried hard not to. She got curious of what it was, so she looked closer, and a small monkey appeared in front of her. Oddly, it was wearing goggles that hangged on its head, as if it was wearing it like a human being. The monkey looked at her in confusion, and yet again, Kimmy was surprised by another voice.

"Dex! Get up here, we're gonna get caught!" A male's voice said, as Kimmy looked up and saw a man's face only a few inches away from her's. Almost screaming, the man held her face and covered her mouth, then whispered in her ear.

"Don't make a sound, I won't do anything to you, just calm down, I'll pull you up." He then held Kimmy's hand and gently pulled her up the tree.

They stayed quiet until the guards went away.

"T-Thank you," Kimmy whispered while fixing herself.

"My pleasure, darling. Anyways, were you the one who was followed by those guards? Or me?" the man questioned her, looking at her as if he needed answers immediately

"Yes, I'm the one who's being chased. You see, I ran away from home, right there," Kimmy answered, and pointed to the castle that stood so tall that it was seen from the dark forest, only the light from the moon showing its features.

"Oh, good. I thought I was the one who's being chased. May I ask who- wait. Wait wait wait. You ran away from that place?! You LIVE there? So are you-"

"Nice to meet you, I am Kimmy, not so Princess Kimmy." she cut him off by imtroducing herself to him.

"Oh where are my manners, nice to see you, your highness." The man chuckled, and bowed lower to show respect. "I am Claude, the King of Thieves." he kept laughing, and soon Kimmy joined his laughter.

"You call yourself that? So are you really a thief?" the laughter died as soon as Kimmy asked.

"Yes! That's why I was hiding from those guards, I stole from your castle. You see, your father and I are not in good terms, first he ordered his men to burn down my hometown, so I took my first step in revenge. Good, isn't it?" Claude sat comfortably, and looked at the dim moonlight, waiting for her reaction.

"That is good, indeed. I mean, it will get my father's attention from me, so he could focus more on the things you stole rather than me. Thank you, Claude." Kimmy smiled at him, joinimg him in his gazing at the moon.

"Say, since you just ran away, why not join me in stealing? You know, so we could also hang out? It's okay if you don't want to-"

"Really?! Can I?!" her smile grew bigger, eyes staring at his, asking if he was serious.

"Of course, but first, we need to fix this," Claude pointed at her broken gun and jetpack.

"Yeah, but the materials in this are really expensive, my jetpack is out of power as well." Kimmy looked down with sadness im her eyes.

"Nah, we can deal with that tomorrow, right now, we can sleep here, if it is okay with you?" Claude asked, and Kimmy only nodde.

The two stayed on the trunk of the big oak tree, and soon drifted to sleep.
