ALl due to my clumsiness

Finally, get a chance to buy my favorite strategy game. Even though I never played it before well I didn't own any pc or anything like that. All thanks to youtube campaign play-through videos. That it became my favorite strategy game

I mean I used to own an Xbox 360. Yeah been a console guy from the beginning, even then used to buy cracked disks so didn't really get to pay full price on the games I played. With that taste of cheaper cracked games, was kinda against paying at full price for games like 50 Usd nope. A bit too much it seemed.

Of course, had few original games paid at full price on my Xbox. But ok getting off-topic here.

So finally got my hands on my personal gaming laptop. Yeah, I went ahead and got a gaming laptop not pc. The reason as to why is I tend to move around since I study in uni. Well, might be just another way of making myself believe I did not make a huge mistake.

The various army compositions and ways I wanted to command been a backseat general u see. Yeah just like those backseat drivers saying u should have seen that or done that instead. Even tho I am fully aware I will be way worse than the person who is in command.

With the countless amount of campaign videos from various youtube channels now I get to try out myself finally.

Total war shogun 2 and Warhammer 1,2. I went ahead and bought it, yeah had to cut corners a bit and bought with 40%ish price what it should cost from the steam key selling site. To buy it I went ahead and carefully thought over it as if my life depended on this purchase. Finally deciding to buy it.

Now really glad I didn't get scammed.

First off almost fell in love with yari wall in the first battle XD I know not the most exciting to put ur soldiers in the yari wall( Its wall made out of soldiers bracing themselves against any charge at them with yari spears in hand) line and win by attrition slowly. Yeah, most of the time I just ground my enemy down with pure numbers and a solid front line. I dunno did not try more than medium difficulty

But it pays off I really hate taking big casualties in my army. Trying to keep alive my army as much as possible so play slowly and defensively. And that's why no risk is needed for the biscuit u will get it eventually XD. By fighting the battles one can win. Focus on the economy just to build armies that outnumber the enemy I am facing. To take the least amount of casualties.

Ok now for the Warhammer tried using all sorts of races but was a pretty big noob when it comes to magic casting stuff yeap. Me trying to put a solid wall against an enemy and win with a range just to get my frontline to crumble to dust and loose. Ahh, what a shameful display.

I just wish I could use my shogun units here would get a solid wall and nicely flank with a cavalry or use archers that won't cost much what fun would it be. Or will it work against these fantasy creatures with flashy magic.

With this in mind paused the game and went rushing to get a cup of tea and some sandwich. Came rushing back but then with my usual clumsiness, I tripped or slipped don't remember which but oOOOHHH Nooo not like this my laptop my precious damn it spilled tea on it.

Why I just owned it for days at most with panic trying to wipe the keyboard. Zap whiteness and nothing.

I couldn't feel a thing in my body just my mind in darkness. Welp damn, it's the end of the ride. What an awesome way to die. I was still regretting the laptop. My precious just had my future with laptop start to be cut down without getting chance on it. Screw you clumsiness !!!

In this emptiness, I thought about lots of stuff life studies I did basically for nothing. Regrets, happiness, and more. Who knows how long has it been since I floated around here time wait does it even work here. Here haha here is where well I don't even care whatever this place is.

Then as I got bored and thought about games to make myself a bit more entertained so in the end still thought about shogun 2 units in Warhammer world. Last thing I was thinking about before the shameful accident. Yeah, that one spilled the tea that shattered my heart and laptop. Oh dang, it has never been destined to be pc gamer I guess.

The long-forgotten sight the white flash. Wait sight how I missed ya sight good to have ya back on board to our flight to Warhammer world hang on tight.

Then smell registers with a nice breeze of fresh forest air. Air finally taking nice long satisfying breath fresh breath. Literally fresh as it's literally first in fact on this new world. Then opening my eyes I am standing in the middle of the forest with a damn tree right in front of me literally mm's off from my face.

Wait a second that transport location was too random I hope it had some sort of safety on it would not wanna be fuzed with a tree and become a tree man of some sorts. Chills running down as I think about it.

Okay enough with that stuff just throw it out of my mind. Focus on good stuff Sanna.

Wow, I am wearing Japanese armor finest steel from the land of the rising sun. So time for equipment check conical jingasa haha finally I got one, surprisingly heavier than I thought it would be. At some point been trying to make one myself. A breastplate and skits from metal.

Wait what dang it been so used to looking at the armor of my units from the monitor didn't really pay attention that ashigaru units wore sandals dang it. Oh, how I hate wearing sandals. mental note get boots ASAP!!

Oh nice, I can make actual mental notes. Moving on with the equipment check arm guard strips of steel on my lower and upper arm. In Proper ashigaru attire.

Now onto the weapons, I am carrying a katana on my hip I doubt it will be good quality one or maybe it is. From the history that is known to me, only the samurai wielded katana.

But in shogun 2 yari ashigaru units had swords but melted when a proper samurai glanced at them when the sword was equipped. But in yari wall, it was a different story. Anyway, I am holding a su yari- spear with a straight blade attached to it about 2m long spear.

My lord what is ur command. As I look back there are another 10 ashigaru soldiers in the same armor as me then I notice the symbol on the jingasa and chest plate. white flame, sun, and crescent around the sun. Looking good my soldiers, as the symbol looked pretty amazing in my opinion on black armor white symbols. No mistaking a Mongol symbol as I am of the Mongol descent descendant of the mighty warriors.

Warriors listen up it is our goal by the will of the eternal blue sky to unite all the people and bring peace and prosperity to these lands. We shall fight yes fight we will my brave warriors we will fight any foe that shall stand in our path.

The soldiers all bowed in unison and said hi. Hi, what ooh I see that's basically yes sir in Japanese. On this thought how am I understanding them and vise versa since I didn't know jack shit about the Japanese language. I would be like where are the subtitles in real life.

Anyway, I get them they get me nothing to worry about. Prob that system doing its job.

Ok, the first order of business no needs to bow. So u will bring your right hand to your head straighten it. Basically, I taught my soldiers to salute like in the modern military. Yeap seeing feudal Japanese soldiers under Mongol banner and saluting is some sight to be seen. As I saluted back to my soldiers I thought about the scrambled speech that I delivered and felt embarrassed why did I tell that to my men.

Looking at the symbol on my soldiers I reminisced about my familiar home. Great open plains under a nice blue sky. Vast grasslands as far as the eye can see. Damn now I feel homesick.

But still being alive for a second time still feels so good taking in a full lung of fresh forest air. Just to be ruined by some crazy female scream what sort of weirdo just screams as if they are getting slaughtered.

At this moment the screams and shouts became louder coming off from afar to the east of us. Alrighty, the first action let's get rolling. As I thought that I ordered my men to form 2 columns and leading my men we headed towards the screams.
