5 Divine Blacksmith

Shiro wanted to get the heck out of here as soon as possible, his trouble Instinct is alarming bells just from being near the goddess, yet at the same time he was also curious about what's going to happen next.

Usually Shiro wouldn't hesitate in avoiding unnecessary trouble he wasn't related to but the goddess herself piqued his interests making him hesitate whether to just ditch her or let himself be dragged to the current.

Goddess Athena is someone not introduced in the series, she's only known for her identity due to being put at the same pedestal as Hestia and Artemis, being one of the 3 infamous virgin goddesses.

However, in the story of Danmachi there aren't just 3 virgin goddesses a prime example of this is goddess Astraea who claimed to be a virgin goddess.

The only reason why Athena, Hestia and Artemis are the mostly well known and put at the same pedestal is because of their strength as gods were even the infamous god Ouranus who been labeled as the strongest god of this reality wouldn't just carelessly offend any of the 3 virgin goddesses.

"Hey, you still haven't answered my question, just who are you? And how are you able to tell I'm a god?"

The goddess asked in a spiteful tone, giving Shiro a glare trying to intimidate him, but in truth she's trying to test Shiro whether he had the balls.

But the latter wasn't intimidated or offended at all by her offensive way of addressing him, the expression she makes instead of being intimidating and scary, or it should have been, look more like a pouting spoiled little girl who didn't get what she wants, though Shiro wouldn't admit it; she certainly looked cute.

"I was the first one who asked the question."

Saying so Shiro stepped forward and closed their distance making the goddess who's shorter than him awkwardly look up in order to maintain eye contact.

"Isn't it common courtesy that you must answer me first."

Said Shiro.

"You might be right, but I couldn't tell you."

"Why so?"

"You see I'm being chased by Goibniu Familia and Hephaestus Familia."

Shiro doubts if she's really a goddess of wisdom.

"Wait, you're being chased by two blacksmithing Familia's! Why is that?"

"How should I put this…"

The goddess reached for her back for a second before pulling out two good-looking high-quality swords that are definitely top first class weapons or might be even higher.

Shiro seeing the swords raised his eyebrows giving the goddess a questioning look.

"I stole this sword from Goibniu-kun and Hephae-chan themselves, you see these are one of their best creations in the mortal world."

Hearing that she stole the swords Shiro couldn't help but face palmed, his already shattered image of the goddess was crumbling even more.

It was at this moment that realization then struck Shiro.

"Don't tell me the thugs we're?"

"Ah, they were the children of Hephae-chan."

'What did I get myself into?'

Shiro thought already regretting stepping in and helping the troublesome goddess.

.

.

.

"I'm sorry… I didn't mean to steal your masterpiece Hephae-chan, can't you forgive me? Goibniu-kun already forgiven me, can't you be as forgiving as him?"

Goddess Athena is literally kneeling right now on the floor as she was punished and lectured by the in-rage Hephaestus.

Goibniu another god of forge who boasts the same craftsmanship as Hephaestus and usually clashes with her decides to stay silent fearing to incur the wrath of his rival (self-proclaimed).

"Shut up, if it wasn't for this young man…" Hephaestus pointed at Shiro who stayed silent at the side. "You've would have escaped with our masterpieces."

*Sniff* *Sniff*

"You betrayed me, Shiro-kun. How can you do something so cruel to a goddess such as myself?"

Shiro avoided Athena's glare by shifting his gaze to the side, whistling.

To avoid any further escalation of the trouble the goddess caused, Shiro took upon himself to present the goddess of wisdom and war to be judged for her mischief.

"I have a suggestion Lady Hephaestus and Sir Goibniu."

The god and goddess of forge raised their eyebrows after hearing the ever so silent Shiro spoke up.

"What is it, child?"

Shiro cringed in the term used to address him but after recalling that the gods before him, we're millions of years old Shiro just shrugged it and continued.

"The masterpiece you've created is certainly remarkable and one of a kind, would you be so kind to part with them, I am willing to purchase both of your masterpieces. Just name the price."

Shiro said with confidence, making the two godly smiths frown a bit.

"Child, you should know that the prices of our masterpieces aren't that cheap and even if you do have the money, we still need to know whether you have the qualifications to wield our masterpieces."

God Goibniu replied in a rough tone.

"Just as Goibniu said."

Goddess Hephaestus added.

"The price isn't a problem as for my qualifications while I'm not the strongest in terms of strength in the world I can confidently say I'm the most skilled swordsman in this world."

Shiro boldly proclaimed shocking the two gods as they sense no falsehood to his words.

More like they couldn't tell whether Shiro is lying or not so from their point of view Shiro was telling the truth.

"If you're that hesitant…"

Shiro removed the coat on his back and pulled out his two latest creations before coming to the Danmachi world, Moonlight and Eclipse.

Moonlight is a legend grade katana created from demonic twilight magisteel.

Eclipse is a double edge legend grade sword, and just like moonlight it was also created from demonic twilight magisteel.

Shiro acquired the Unique Skill [Divine Blacksmith] back in the cardinal world after working and studying with Kurobe for a long time.

"I need to equip myself with weapons of a lesser grade than these babies and your 'masterpieces' seems to be the most appropriate I can find in this city."

Shiro uttered in a condescending tone, angering the two gods, but the moment they lay eyes on his swords their anger turns into disbelief.
