1 Prologue

Strange thing about reincarnating with your memory intact was that at first you won't even know that you've been reincarnated in the first place. My first memory in this world was the almost suffocating feeling of cold and heavy air as soon as I woke up.

My whole body hurts and I wasn't able to use my limbs and mouth to ask for help or whatever. I thought at first that I got drugged and kidnapped by some illegal human traffickers and to be butchered for my organs or something more horrible.

I wasn't even able to keep awake for a few minutes before I lost all my energy and fell asleep despite all the crazy things that's happening. Next thing I knew when I woke up was, I felt really warm and comfy in a bed inside a blanket.

My vision for some reason was really blurry as I tried to get up, but my body was locked inside the blanket. I struggled free myself from the blanket cocoon and when I tried to scream in frustration, I heard a baby squeal coming straight out of my own mouth.

That scared the shit out of me as I all together stopped my struggle with the blanket and just lay frozen where I am, stunned about the sudden realization that stuck me.

Suddenly my eyes caught a visage of a giant walking towards me as I heard a woman's voice speaking in a language I haven't heard before seemingly asking me what's wrong.

As the giant woman proceeded to picked me up and rocked me in her arms, I just stared dumbstruck at the blurry face of the woman as I just stayed quiet and thinking about the absurdness of this situation.

'Ohh fuck? Is this for real?'

*****

I won't talk about my miserable first year of my life in this new world as a toddler. In a simple sentence it was a mess, embarrassing, really tiring that I want to forget about it.

Good thing about this new life was; It seems like I hit a jackpot life. From the numerous servants and extravagant lifestyle, I've led and how I was being treated, I know for certain that I've been born in some rich or maybe perhaps noble family.

And I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but it seems like I live in a mix of Japanese warring era and industrial era. This got me puzzled, as I could see from the clothes, actions and mannerism from the servants and my mother reminds me of Japanese historical movies I've seen before.

And yet, the technological advancements in this world are already that of early 1940's. But I didn't mind this seriously as I was busy adapting in this new world, to understand this worlds language was my foremost priority for now.

All in all, from my estimations it took me about 5 months to have a grasp of some simple words and sentence, all thanks to my talkative and jolly mother. But of course, to not drew attention I decided not to play the part of a genius baby who could talk in a sentence at 5 months old.

All I did afterwards was to play the part of a good and adorable baby; it was usually just my mother and the other nannies and body guards that are always in my room. As for my father, he seems like a busy and important man as I rarely see him, I only see him at least once a week to look over my crib and kiss my forehead to say goodbye after a couple minutes of cuddling.

I didn't mind that at first as I have all the comfort I could ask with my mother and all the servants that serve all my needs. But that changed when I turned 1 year old as a huge celebration was held in our house – more like a palace, for a week as I was introduced all around by my mother and father all over the important visitors for the whole week.

I tried to keep tab of all the important figures that my father seems to talk in serious considerations but after more than a dozen, I decided to just do the political things when I'm much older and more capable than my lazing figure in my mother arms.

During that one week of my birthday celebration, I started having doubts of living a noble if it's all about politics and parties like this. I was never into politics and financial power back on earth, and as much as I like I don't want to live like that in this world.

Finally, when the celebration ended, I had my peace – or not. Soon after, in the morning of after the celebration my room got busy once again as the servants readied some of my stuff while my mother was instructing the servants about this important annual visit of some village.

At first, I hate the idea of all this formality as a noble to even include a one-year-old baby in their politics, but upon arriving outside the palace and looking at the prepared royal escort for the journey I got excited.

In a sense it was my first journey outside except for the palace and the gardens. Noticing my twinkling eyes throughout the journey, my mother and father was really glad that I gained energy after the tiring week of the celebration.

Never would I have taught that that even a noble/royal escort like this would someone even dare try to attack us. It was there that I got to know the world I ended up being reborn in.

*****

My mother was just playing with me as she keeps pointing at things and animals that we passed by inside the carriage.

"Tenshin, look!" She lifted me to look at the window at pointed at a crow flying by our carriage. "That's a crow. CAW! CAW! Come on Tenshin call the crow." My mother spur me up to call up the crow like her.

My father beside me laughed heartily while looking at us. I look at both of them still looking alive as ever. And as the most adorable baby of our noble house, I copied my mom and called out with my small voice as loud as I can.

"Caw! Caw! Caw!"

The guards besides out carriage laughed at my small roar to call out the crow. Even the crow seemed to heard me and looked at my direction as it answered back in response.

"Ohh! Look Tenshin it heard you!" My mother put me in her lap and clapped my hand with hers while I was giggling in response.

'It was such an easy thing to entertain your parents as a baby. So please spoil me more in the future okay?' I giggled more as my parents praised me more while my mother keeps kissing my cheeks.

Suddenly while my mother keeps on raining me with kisses I look outside the window and saw that we came to a stop. All the guards beside us where just sitting still in their horses quietly and looking emptily at the horizon.

I saw the crow that was perched on a tree fly abruptly in a hurry while cawing loud. Then I heard a loud thud outside the carriage, like a body just crashed heavily on the ground.

My father heard the noise and was about to ask the guard but stopped when he saw the empty look of the guards outside. My mother noticed father's behavior and pulled me closer as father told her to be quite with a sign.

"Who are you?!" I heard a voice of a child? – why is a child outside right there?! In the tone of voice, I think that he/she would not be older than ten.

"Splendid instincts not charging recklessly to your death like this brat." This time a deep voice of a man was heard chillingly, I heard sound of a body being step on – probably the guy earlier got killed, which means the child was the only one protecting us as the other guards were like frozen statues at their horses right now.

'Fuck?! Seriously an ambush right now?' I was already sweating in my mother's embrace who was trying her best to smile at me despite her hands shaking a bit in fear.

Suddenly, I heard a sword being drawn and small footstep of a child neared our position and stopped couple on feet from our carriage.

"Put your weapon down kid, I assure you I only came for the Daimyo." My father stiffed up when he heard the man's voice. My mother clasped my father's hands and shaking her head who was trying to stand up upon hearing the nearing footsteps of the assumed attacker.

Suddenly I heard a brief clashed of fight as the sound of a sword being swung was heard. The child – bodyguard seemed to have attacked the enemy and even forced him to retreat as I heard an explosion of whirling leaves, then several people seemed to have arrive around our carriage but no further clash of weapons was heard.

My father looked outside the window and eased up the anxious expression on his face as he sighed in relief. The guards besides our carriage seemed to have woke up as several of them surrounded and blocked our carriage doors while staying alert.

Couple of moments after I hear the head of our guard talking to the new arrivals and ensuring our safety inside the carriage, my father walk outside followed by my mother with me in her arms.

My father walks towards some masked and armored shinobi kneeling towards us. Seeing the familiar outfit of those shinobi filled me with curiosity at first but upon seeing the leading shinobi in front who greeted father, my stomach churned as I began managed to recognized the man.

The familiar white dog masked he was wearing, the bizarre color white and hairstyle behind the mask, and the outfit of the armor of this man and the insignia on his left arm.

I decided to look away in rejection of the reality but my vision turned towards a child no older than ten kneeling quietly beside a crying teenage girl in front of a body bag. He had a jet-black hair and when he turned to look towards me, I clearly saw the onyx eyes and his long tear-throughs.

I absentmindedly turned to look back towards the white-haired shinobi – Kakashi, who was talking with my father. Blinking my eyes, a couple of times and looking back again at the child shinobi wearing a head protector with a sign of a famous anime back on Earth – child Itachi looked curiously at me.

"Hik!" – throughout the whole journey towards our destination – Konohagakure, I feel sick as I keep hiccuping until we arrived, which made even my parents worried sick at my sudden sickness.
