3 3 Some friends

In the busy street of Konoha, a young boy at the age of six with fair skin, smooth black hair, and bright green eyes was seen walking. This was Shigeo Murakami the orphan who had awakened memories of his past life.

'Let me see here, so I currently only have 1,200 ryo' Shigeo thought as he walked through the Konoha market district. He had bought himself some snacks as he was tired from his training, it was currently around almost lunch time and he just finished his morning workouts.

It had been 2 weeks since he had awoken his memories and since then he started training everyday. But even so his progress was so painfully slow, his chakra pool increased but not too much but it would take at least a few more years until he could do some cool jutsu's.

As for how he trains on how to increase his chakra pool, well it was hell. He has to almost completely exhaust his chakra everyday to which he is dead tired. He had been doing that for the past three weeks and his chakra had only increased by 25.

As for his physical body, he had grown a little maybe about by a cm or two in height as well as losing some baby fat. He started running as well as doing normal core exercises. He at first opted the legendary Saitama training regiment but it was actually in the more easier side as his body was strengthened by chakra.

'appraisal' he muttered as he passed by the market district.

'I should start learning some of the six powers and maybe Observation Haki' Shigeo thought.

'I already have my lightning power so the next thing I should get is defense or escape techniques. So it would either be Tekkai or Soru. But considering the fact that Tekkai needs the user to be completely still, I'll learn Soru first as well as learn Observation Haki as it doesn't really need me to be physically strong. I just didn't have the materials for it yet' He thought.

One reason he hasn't learned Observation Haki is that the user needs to practice being able to avoid getting hit with their eyes closed. He of course couldn't ask anyone to hit him as he tried to dodge because they would get suspicious and the other reason is the fact that he has no one to ask. He didn't really have any friends after all.

Speaking of friends, some of the other orphans ratted him out about saying that he wasn't actually going to the park to which the matron grew concerned. He just said that he went to play with his friends at their house and whatnot but the matron asked him to meet his friends.

He replied with an ok but was cursing inside since he was fucked. So now he was making his way towards the park to make friends. He could only sigh because he was mentally 15 ever since he awakened the memories of his past life and he didn't want to deal with little kids.

Once he got to the park he saw that it there were kids of various ages from 5-10 running all over. He spotted some familiar faces from the anime but he couldn't remember some of their names. He spotted a shy little girl with pink hair along with another girl with platinum blonde hair. It seemed that they were the same age as him but he avoided contact with them since they were with another 5-6 girls of the same age and he disliked crowds or well crowds of little brats.

He also saw that there was a blonde with whisker marks trying really hard to befriend other kids but was having a real hard time. He kept on trying to chase the other kids but seemed that the other kids tried to run away from him. 'He should be Naruto right?' Shigeo thought.

He only shook his head and decided not to approach him. It wasn't that he had anything against him but the fact that approaching him right now would lead him to a bad position. Since he knew what majority of the people in Konoha seemed to hate him, if he were to befriend him now he might also be treated the same and maybe abused in the orphanage.

From his memories, Naruto at one point was also in the orphanage but wasn't treated good and was even kicked out. From the bits of memories he had from the anime and manga he at least knew that he was doing better living alone in an apartment than he did the orphanage.

He decided that even if he couldn't befriend him right now he would at least wouldn't be mean to him. Maybe in the future if he manages to leave the orphanage he could befriend him. But right now he could only rely on the matron and the orphanage. Unlike Naruto who had the favor of the hokage along with being an asset to the village because he holds the nine tails.

Compared to Naruto he was just a no named civilian child and an orphan at that. To the eyes of the adults he had nothing to show for other than being more mature than those his age.

'Huff' Shigeo could only sigh as he thought of his position.

He then looked to see two boys that unlike the other kids weren't actively making friends and seemed not to mind it as they were comfortable on their own.

'They are probably friends, hmm but they look familiar. They should be part of the main cast, but as for their names and identities, I can't seem to remember' Shigeo thought as he looked at the two.

There were two kids away from the more crowded part of the park as they were under the shade of the tree. One was laying down staring at the cloud as the other ate some chips.

'Well whatever' Shigeo thought as he made his way over.

"Hey, my name is Shigeo Murakami. Is it okay for me to hang out with you guys?" Shigeo asked.

"Hmm?" The chubby one that was eating chips turned to look at Shigeo and thought for a second before nodded.

"*crunch* mm, sure!" The boy said as he gulped down what he was chewing. "I'm Choji Akimichi by the way" He said before he tapped the other boy that was laying down.

"Shikamaru Nara" The boy said with a lazy voice. Though he did start to get up and leaned against the tree like Choji and even made room for him.

Sitting beside the other two and leaning against the tree Shigeo asked " So, why aren't you guys trying to make friends with the others" as he took out his chips and opened it and offered some to the two.

"Thanks" Shikamaru said as he grabbed some and ate. "They are too troublesome" he said as he stared at the crowdnof children.

"They are mean" Choji said as he explained how they called him overweight.

"Well, don't let them get to you Choji" Shigeo said as Choji nodded at him with a smile.

"How about you? You approached us outcasts instead of joining them" Shikamaru said as he raised an eyebrow.

Shigeo grinned as he replied " Same as you. They are too annoying and like to tease others for little things" To which earned a smile from both Shikamaru and Choji.

They talked for a few more minutes before Shigeo spoke out.

"Yosh! I decided, I'll be friends with the both of you" Shigeo said as he smiled.

"Troublesome. Do what you want" Shikamaru said.

"Really? I'll also be your friend too Shigeo!" Choji said completely opposite of Shikamaru to which Shigeo nodded in confirmation.

They then descended in silence as the trio decided to just enjoy watching the clouds.
