It has been a month since he left. He left me. He chose God over me. I just don't know what to do anymore. It should have been me. I'm so sorry, Caleb. I regret everything, I hate that I'm alive. But it's okay, I will see you soon. I looked at the scenery outside my rusty window. Clear sky, bright sun, silent wind. This should have been a perfect day if Caleb was here. I stood up, grabbed my coat, and my car keys.

"Hey mom, I'm off to Boston. Call me if you need anything. I'll be back by dinner."

"Alright honey, take care." mom said.

I went out of our house and saw Dylan right by my car. Right! I promised him that I will go to Hayle's dance rehearsal today. I totally forgot!

"Oh my god Dylan, I'm so sorry, I forgot about Hayle's dance rehearsal. I'm off to Boston now. It's Caleb's 49th day."

"Well, in that case, you should make it up to Hayle when you get back."

"Yes of course! No big deal, I swear, I will buy every viand at Mama Pacito's for her."

"Hahaha good. Then off you go, take care of yourself Gia, drive slow. Okay?"

"Yes sir! Now, I will be on my way then." He grabbed my arm and pulled me to his embrace.

"I'm serious Gia, please be careful." he said and I just nodded. He opened the car door for me and closed it. I started the engine and never looked back.
