1 1. The Manor Of Dark Secrets!

Story set in Indian state of Rajasthan, the story revolves around a young boy, Krish. Belonging to a royal family, he was a man of new era. He didn't believed in supernatural existence and thought all this as superstition and waste of time.

This was his birthday. He had turned 21 today. His mother Paridhi had asked him to get up and be ready early morning to go to the temple. (In India, people visit temples on special occasions to seek blessings) The temple they were going to was dedicated to lord Hanuman. The temple was very old and was known far and near to protect one from evil forces. Krish didn't really wished to go but only for his mother and family, he agrees on condition that he would be going alone on his new bike. Paridhi agrees.

Paridhi was cheerful lady, but their was one thing that kept her afraid. Not only her, but also her husband Raajbeer and her whole family. The thing was the dark secret they were hiding in their old, ruined royal manor were their ancestor lived years ago. Also, Krish was always interested in that manor. Where every family member (and even the neighbouring peoples) frightened to go near the ruined Manor, Krish tried hard to get their. He always sensed that something or someone was calling and attracting him in the manor.

So, Krish leaves for the temple. After him the whole family leaves in a tracker bus together. This was a great chance for Krish to go to the manor. He decides to reroute and go to the manor once. On the other hand, rest of the family members reaches the Hanuman Temple. Krish reaches the manor. He didn't fell very good in that atmosphere. The walls were cracked and old plant roots grew across the floor, making it look like a haunted house. Suddenly a witch, with beautiful eyes and graceful lips appears behind one of a pillars, Krish could not see her. Krish didn't knew about the witch. The witch started moving her lips and chanting some evil spells. Krish started hearing haunting sounds. The screams. He could hear "The destruction of Bundela family is near" (Bundela was the family Krish belonged to) The screams haunted Krish, which made him run away. He sat in his bike and drive on the long empty long with as fast as he could. In the temple, when Krish doesn't shows up for long, Paridhi gets tensed up and asks Hira Baba, for help. Hira Baba was an asiatic man, who had got some special powers and blessings from lord through meditation. He sits down to meditate. Screams, still following Krish, he drove with such speed that the breaks fails, and a cliff was ahead. And then, Krish fells into the cliff but, manages to catch a branch growing vertically. He could not hold the branch, his arms ached. He remembered his mother saying that in any bad condition, one should keep faith in god, and pray. He usually doesn't pray, but in the given condition he chanted the hanuman chalisa, a godly chant or a prayer dedicates to lord hanuman. But no longer he could hold the branch and leaves it! In fear Krish closes his eyes!
