1 My Prison (Introduction)

Some people say their home is their comfort place, for me it's the totally opposite. My house or the mansion I live in is just a materialistic building. There is no love about it, no hope, no joy.

I was born in a household of Anger and regret. It doesn't matter that my parents are rich, they don't even love each other. They just put up with one another to maintain a reputation. That's what I am, a pawn in their reputation.

I sigh zoning back into reality, as I walk down the mansion stairs. I wave to the maids and butlers seeing their fake smiles, plates full of different foods and activities list. Each maid greeting me and letting me know each thing I had to do today. Again another list of duties, something I never even asked for.

I pulled my bouncy, ginger hair back, taking the sliver tie off my brown skin and wrapping it around my hair in a elegant bun. While I did this, a seamstress ran up to me, checking my dark blue pencil-skirt and matching top. She made sure the pearls surrounding the skirt were in place and that every piece of my outfit matched.

I sighed, "Rene, you don't have to fuss over me. I guarantee you it's fine. I checked before I walked out and Reshell did too, every detail-!" " She said everything was right? The fabric!? The color!? Oh my goodness no holes right!? I can't have your parents mad again, especially your mother she said that if I mess up this time that-!" The Acres' Family Lapel Pin Crest lit up making her fall silent.

The reason I believed the Crest pins were controlled by my mother was because each time a lapel pin lit up a-!

"Come on Miss.Victoria your mother is waiting! Oh, and Rene, gather your things." A nearby butler glides closer with cold eyes , "The boss wants to see you darling."

I saw Rene frown, looking at me with desolation. Two Guards near me going over to her, taking her into a nearby room.

I took a deep breath and exhaled, seeing her leave almost made me cry. Rene has been there for me since I was a younger and now my one and only favorite seamstress is leaving, forever.

I sucked in my tears, biting my lip hard trying not to cry, for I knew if I shed a tear. My mother would know that she got to me.

The room is quiet now, Rene is gone and now I'm left with the mannequins the marionette mannequins.
