Training for the family tournament.

"You are saying that next year your family is going to hold a tournament and you need to win." Master Kang summarised what Shen Yue told him about his predicament.

When Master Kang saw Shen Yue today he noticed that Shen Yue was a little different compared to the one he saw yesterday, he was slightly more depressed but he could faintly notice the difference that no one could catch expect the most skilled artisan in the world. Master Kang decided to let Shen Yue solve it himself as giving Shen Yue too much help would make Shen Yue dependant on him and might become softer as he would expect his master to do it for him.

"Yes. Master, I want you to help me, can you give me a good martial art technique if you have any?"

" I have but you don't need them." said Master Kang plainly.

"What do you mean master?"

"I mean that you don't need a martial art technique in this tournament, you'll be fighting Shen family kids, kids that are really weak, have no experience and lack good martial arts; my martial art technique would be reduced to a laughing stock if it was used on such little runts. I won't teach you my martial art until you finish the tournament-" Master Kang was interrupted.

"Maste-"

"Don't interrupt me. But for now I will teach you how to punch and kick how to utilise maximum force from your body, it should raise your strength at least twice from your current self."

Shen Yue was happy and bowed down, "Thank You Master!".

"Okay. Now go next door, I have a spare gi for you waiting there." pointed Master Kang to his right.

Shen Yue went there and found a red martial arts gi, it had a hammer with flames at the back to represent his master probably. Shen Yue's little body was covered by red material from his arms to his legs, he wore no shoes and was barefooted.

Shen Yue returned to his Master.

" Look at this, it suits you well, I made it just yesterday. I hope you like it." Gave the old man a wide grin that didn't fit his tough demeanour.

"I sure do. Especially that cool looking flame hammer symbol, makes me look cool. Now I'm going to wear it everyday from now on." laughed Shen Yue.

They both conversed a little bit about master and disciple stuff before they both went up to a green hill close to Glory City together.

"Little Yue from now on keep doing exercises here. Whilst you are training here your body is absorbing more yang energy from the sun giving you better training results here than any other place in Glory City. Now start with hundred push-ups, then hundred sit-ups, hundred squats..."

Master Kang instructed Shen Yue to exercise by first doing hundred push-ups then hundred sit-ups, hundred squats and many more training exercises. Master Kang did this so that Shen Yue has a healthy body, a healthy body is obviously stronger than a poor body.

After a few hours, SHen Yue finished his exercises all tired and used up before Master Kang placed his palm on Shen Yue's abdomen and sent out a mysterious light that restored Shen Yue's energy to peak or even above.

"Now start punching and kicking towards the sun."

Puf!

Shen Yue sent a jab with his left hand.

Whoop!

Shen Yue sent a sidekick with his right foot.

Puf!

Shen Yue sent a right hook.

Whop!

Shen Yue did a roundhouse kick.

"Stop. Stop. Everything you made was a mistake. Most of these you have positioned your arms and legs in the wrong positions. Not only that but you have also left your defence down, never let your defence down even when performing jumping kicks like the roundhouse kick you did there. What if your opponent dodged your roundhouse kick what then, you haven't set your defence up yet and the second before you try you'd be down on the ground cold. Don't just focus on attacks focus on defence as well."

"yes Master."

"Now again!"

Shen Yue started performing punches and kicks which were okay but not the least in the eyes of Master Kang who would start using a scroll as a tiny bat to hot Shen Yue on the head whenever his performance was not to a good standard.

After a few hours of training his body and getting smacked by Master Kang, Shen Yue went home a few hours before sun down, he went to the city lord's mansion again to play sport with the little girls as this helps him get further acquainted with this body.

Right now he was was playing Jianshu (swordplay) with the girls, with wooden swords obviously, they had a little twist though, they were going to play hero and demon king. Xiao Ning'er and Ye Ziyun were going to be heroes and Shen Yue was going to be the Demon King.

Bang! Bang!

Shen Yue was getting at first constantly hit by the girls, he even got hit in the nose and had a little trickle of blood, She Yue was mad and started to frantically attack the two girls, he was slowly getting used to this game and every more closely in being able to use this body decently in activates that were not walking.

Bang!

" You little girls can think you can defeat the Immortal Demon King? No chance in Hell! Now I shall make you soak in the yellow springs for eternity. Lose!" Shouted Shen Yue as he lashed out with his wooden sword like a maniac.

"Demon King! You say some brave words there coming from your filthy mouth. But that filthy mouth shall be punished with death!" Shouted Xiao Ning'er.

"Yeah! You will return to the hell you have came from hell spawn. Now prepare to meet your maker!" Ye Ziyun shouted just after Xiao Ning'er finished her line, they acted like typical heroes.

"Ittoryu: BAKI!" Shouted as Shen Yue raised his sword vertically and slashed down with great might, trying to copy an attack from a certain green haired Marimo.

The girls managed to dodge his attack and hit him with their sword sending him flying on the ground.

"We WIN!" cheered the girls as they jumped up in victory, they retracted their hero act and returned to the little girls that they were.

"Man! You girls sure do pack a punch" smiled Shen Yue. 'Effing Bitches just you wait'.

Shen Yue noticed that he was getting better at controlling and moving this body better than before in just few days that means that next year he would have at least hundred times better control.

'Just a year of this hard work and I will wreck the entire comptetion, just you wait motherfucking Shen Family, Dark Guild.'

Shen Yue smiled before walking back home, the sun was already setting.
