9 Chapter 9 Kim Min Ho

In the few weeks following the Jeju project's commencement, work pilled up at the office so much that, even I had no choice but to spend all my time moving up and down with a thousand things to do. so the one Sunday I managed to get off work was such a blessing to me that I gladly decided to just sleep in and lazy around for the whole day.

Unfortunately for me however, that Sunday just happened to be the same day Kristal decided to start up with her wedding things.

She had received a message from her wedding planner the night before, informing her of the arrival of her dress and jeon's tux. Apparently they were supposed to go there for a fitting as a couple. But since Jeon is a certified workaholic, he was no where in sight that day, leaving me to suffer his fate because I was the walking, breathing replica of him.

She barged in my room like she owned it and I would have strangled her for disturbing my peace if she wasn't so beautiful.

"What the hell Kristal?!" I asked her as she made her way to my bed in a sexy catwalk like the model she was, and I was all but rendered speechless the whole time until she reached my bed and sat down gracefully beside me.

"I could have been naked, you know?" I tried at another attempt to sound angry, but I was more nervous than I was mad now and am sure Kristal noticed that fact too, because all she did was curl up her lips in a knowing smile for an answer.

"Morning min ho, sorry to have barged in on you like that, but can you help me? Am supposed to go check out my dress and jeon's tux today, but your brother isn't here and I was hoping that you could come in his stead since you guys are pretty much the same person."

She said sweetly and I knew she was definitely using the sweet Kristal card to get me to agree to go with her. She was really a professional in that department because she always won me over everytime she tried it and this time was no different. All she did, was flatter her adorable eye lashes at me and I was screwed.

We got to that boutique just fine, but that's where all the hussle began. Apparently, the said dress and tuxedo they had with them, weren't the ones Kristal had ordered. Infact, they were an entirely different kind from what she initially wanted, which caused her to almost have a fit.

I on the other hand, didn't understand what the fuss was all about. Personally, I thought she looked wonderful in that dress and the suit wasn't at all bad, but it turned out my opinions were valid in this case or even slightly considered which got me to wonder why she brought me along in the first place.

By the end of it all, Kristal was a ticking time bomb and I was emotionally strained. I never knew getting married was that hectic.

"This is all your brother's fault, I can't believe he is not here to do this with me" Kristal was so frustrated by the whole ordeal. I could see she was trying so hard to hold in all her emotions. Clearly she was also stressed out about something else other than the mix up of her wedding dress. I secretly wondered what it was, but I was too scared that asking her about it could only upset her more. So I kept quiet about it.

"I know it is hard to do this without him sweetheart" I pulled her into a hug in an attemp to calm her down. She held me close as she cried on my shoulder. I knew it was not my place but I suddenly felt so angry at my brother for not being there with her as she would have wanted. I never wanted to see her cry under any circumstances because seeing her tears always had the power to break my heart into tiny little bits.

"But don't worry I will personally get him here tomorrow okay? Don't cry please" I promised her.

She calmed down eventually after a little bit more cooing and a few more whispered words in her ear.

"Thank you for being here with me min ho, you are such a gem" she said as she broke the embrace and looked me in the eyes. I couldn't help but look into her eyes as well and lingered there a moment too long than appropriate for my soon to be sister in-law.

Does she know what she does to me when she looks at me like that.

I had never wanted to kiss her more than I did in that moment.
