2 Tall Dark Figure

Early in the morning, Eva decided to go for a walk to clear her head. As she strolled through some streets of her new town, She couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The town was too quiet, the people too polite. It was almost as if they were putting on an act, putting on a show for her benefit. Eva shook her head, trying to dismiss the feeling.

"It was probably just my imagination," Eva told herself

But as she turned to a corner, she stopped in her tracks. There, in the middle of the street was a large puddle of black liquid.

As she approached the puddle, she noticed something strange. In the reflection, she saw her mother's face. But it was different than it had been in the nightmare. Her eyes were now glowing red. A chill ran down her spine as she heard a voice behind her.

"Hello my dear," it said. She turned around, her heart beating hard in her chest.

There, standing before her was the shadowy figure from her nightmare. But this time, it was real!

The figure reached out a hand beckoning her to come closer. Against her better judgment, she stepped forward. As she did, the figure took a more solid form. It was a tall, dark figure dressed in a black robe. It spoke again, its voice low and melodic.

"I've been waiting for you my dear, you're so much like your mother," it said

Eva's mind raced as she tried to process what was happening. The figure continued to speak, its voice soft and persuasive.

"Your mother always tried to resist me, but in the end, she couldn't.

You, however, have the potential to be so much more than your mother. You have a power that your mother never had. Join me and I will show you how to harness that power".

Eva felt a tugging sensation that seemed to come from deep within her. She wanted to run but her feet were rooted to the ground.

Suddenly a voice cut through the air, breaking the spell that seemed to hold her captive.

"Eva don't listen to it", the voice said. It was her grandmother's voice. The figure turned, it's eyes blazing with anger.

"Stay out of this, old woman", it hissed. But the voice did not falter.

"You leave my granddaughter alone!" She said, its tone filled with authority. "You have no power here! "

The figure's eyes narrowed, and it lashed out, a blast of dark energy shooting out, a blast of dark energy shooting toward Eva's grandmother.

But the energy seemed to dissipate before it reached her. The figure turned back to Eva, its eyes glowing more than ever.

"You see dear, your grandmother cannot protect you", It said. "No one can ! The only way to protect yourself is to join me".

But as it spoke, Eva felt the tugging within her fade. A new feeling took its place, a feeling of strength and courage.

Eva raised her head, meeting the figure's gaze.

"No! She said, her voice strong and clear. I will not join you. I choose my path".

The figure's eyes flashed and it let out a deep, guttural growl. But Eva stood firm, her resolve unwavering.

"Then you will face the consequences," the figure said, its voice low and menacing.

With a blast of energy, it vanished, leaving only a black mist in its wake.

For a moment, everything was still.

Then, Eva's grandmother stepped forward, a look of relief on her face. "I'm so glad you're safe, she said, wrapping Eva in a tight hug. You were so brave my dear, I'm so proud of you".

Eva clung to her grandmother, tears streaming down her face."But I knew I had to be strong". Her grandmother nodded, a smile on her face. "And you were my dear. You were".
