2 Part 2 : The Brat Wants to Learn

The sound of water flowing from the fountain near the gazebo filled the surrounding area. I sat in the gazebo, leisurely drinking tea. Though my exterior looked calm and indifferent, in actuality, I was simply bored.

Aside from etiquette classes and meals, we pretty much had nothing to do.

Well, not really... but I really do miss my dear smartphone accompanying me...

My father had just came back yesterday, expressing his worry and concern regarding my memory loss. As soon as he got home, he embraced my mother and I who waited upon his arrival. My 'father' had a huge and masculine stature whilst his complexion seemingly delicate with his brown locks tied to a ponytail. He and Airene had looked similar to one another, I guess that's where her looks came from.

After all that was over,

I reminisced and thought about the plot of the game...

...And came towards a realization.

.....!

Doesn't this game have magic?!

It had already been a few days since I arrived here and just now did I remember this crucial part that made me yearn to be able to do cool things with?!

Why did I forget?!

In the world of this game called

"Magic Conquerer of Hearts" ,

There were 6 types of magic.

Mainly fire, water, earth, wind, darkness, and light. There are also other variations such as Void, Ice, Elemental, Floral, Anima, and more. But these sub counterparts of the main 6 magic are difficult to master.

In the game, magic was described to be beautiful, mystical, and free. Whatever you imagined could be turned into a reality, that is, as long as you have deep a understanding of your element along with high mana capacity. To understand one's element, one must form a core according to that element by meditating and focusing on circulating the surrounding mana, imagining them having the same properties as your element. The same thing applies to increase mana capacity, though how far you could go is entirely dependant on you.

There are some exceptions to this though since people with more than one aptitude though unlikely, would've already had their core naturally formed and will have double the absorption speed of those with one element.

but on the other hand, not everyone can understand mana properly, it requires some amount of insight and talent. If you don't have the feeling for it and yet still try to utilize it, you could end up with sever consequences, be it a permanent lifeling injury or even death.

The same consequenses will apply if you attempt to forcibly use magic beyond your mana capacity.

Though magic is powerful, it is not omnipotent.

So based on the information I had regarding the novel, Airene had..... wait what attribute did Airene have again?

Oh, yeah.

That-that stupid brat never bothered to check her attribute!

In the game, she claimed to say that magic will only ruin her image, and fighting was unbecoming of a lady. She had also headstrongly exclaimed that having knights protect her would be more favourable.

Freaking hell, how spoiled can she get..?

"Sigh..."

I guess I'll just have to read some of the books in the library about magic.....

Wait. Isn't it more convenient to ask for a magic teacher?

Upon the thought, I loudly yelled "EUREKA!", whish startled nearly all the maids in the area. I then asked one of the maids on the whereabouts of my parents and happily ran towards the lounge.

As soon as I arrived, I knocked on the large door and went in after hearing their answer.

"You may enter." A voice said from behind the door.

I peeked from the door, showing only half my stature as I spoke.

"Apologies mother, father. May I... please have a word with you...?"

My parents were both overjoyed seeing as I was the one who came to visit them.

"Ah yes, of course honey. What do you want to talk about?" My mother said with a loving expression while my dad simply smiled.

"Mother... Father... may I please have my own magic teacher..?"

PPPFFFFT!

The sound of my father splurging his tea out of his mouth ruined the handsome face he had and more importantly, the image I had of him.

My mother who was ecstatic, then asked to why I had suddenly asked for a tutor which I previously refused to have.

She pondered at it while joy was seemingly visible on her face. Of course, my dad looked exasperated as well even if he was startled.

"I... realized the importance of magic. Since I am eventually going to end up in the academy, isn't it better to actually learn and master magic first? It is also so that I would not tarnish the Roselle Household's name."

Of course, what I said was all true... excluding the personal reasons for it.

"Hmmm... then should we ask for a special one then?" My Father exclaimed as he locked his gaze with my mother.

"Oh, Dear... I've already thought of the most perfect candidate for her."

My mother merrily said while giving a playful gaze to my father. Then, they both focused their gazes towards mine.

What..? Seeing their reactions, I brimmed in cold sweat.

"Honey, the teacher would be someone you already know and may be quite fond of." My mother exclaimed to me.

I nodded and expressed my thanks towards them. I then went up and kissed their cheeks while thanking them with a bright smile.

My parents replied the smile and continued to embrace me. After that, I left the lounge and went back to my quarters. I shut myself in there while collecting my thoughts.

Someone I am fond of... who might it be? Nobody I knows comes to mind aside from my parents, or maybe even Prince Andrew, which by no means am I fond of... if not them, then who else?

"Haaah..." Though I may know information in the game, why must I not have the memories of the previous Airene...?

I guess all I could do is just look forward to meeting that person, seeing that mother said he would arrive in a few days time.
