1 Ch1. Fairyland- The Beginning or End

Lying on the floor was a woman in the puddle of blood. The pain in her eyes was evidently more than the pain from the wound from which the blood was oozing out. She made her way crawling to the body of a man lying on the floor on the other end. As she was about to touch the body, she was stopped by a sword held by a figure in the black dress.

"No princess I cannot let you even touch him" Her shocked eyes met his dark ones and her expression changed from loved one to angry, but the man continued in his dark voice "I cannot bear even his lifeless body experiencing the touch of you. He, who is a mere mortal and for him you have forsaken these heavenly pleasures of fairyland. And from all, you left me, the one who stood by you, the one who supported no matter what, I forbid it. I will cut his body into several pieces that his soul will be terrorized with the mere mention of my name."

Lifting her chin high with pride the princess replied "Do what you can Sebastian in your power to separate me from my beloved. But I have given up this fairyland for his love. I will not survive without his love on any land. My binding to him is not mere physical. I am bound to him with spirit. As his spirit is free, so will be mine now, I will be wherever he will be. And to be united to him I shall reborn again and again till I am with the one I love, with my dear Solan." With these words, the princess form suddenly had fire licking her and finally disappeared leaving a pile of ashes where she once was.

Seeing this, the shocked expression on Sebastian face turned to hurt and painful tears rolled down his face, but the words of rejection have overpowered his love more, than the loss of the woman he loved. The darkness inside and outside became one, with one goal, the goal to get back what he lost, to get back the love of the woman he lost. Thus born out of this dark desire was his obsession which made him utter the next words.

"Princess you cannot free yourself like this. I am worthy of you and your love. I will not let this mortal even have the thought of you, forget about the touch, my princess. To be with you and to bind you to me I give up the pleasure of this land. I will bring you back here with me, bonded with my true love, lest I would be born again and again with you till you realize your mistake that your love for this mortal is a mere infatuation and for your pride, you have rejected me, till you feel the depths of my love, till you feel the pain of my love, till you cannot experience anything but my love".

Thus speaking Sebastian with his own sword slew himself in a way that he laid there on the floor between the princess's ash and the man she loved. While he was breathing his last his mind was imagining the smiling Princess beckoning him to come to her.

Soon footsteps were heard and the lord of the fairies appeared there and was deeply afflicted to find his dearest daughter laying lifeless along with the guardian and a mortal . He bent down to touch her forehead and envisioned the incident that passed few moments before and and the tears sprang from his eyes. As a heavenly being he could not drown in his sorrows so he composed himself and sighed.

He blessed his daughter that her wish will come true as she had asked, but would have to undergo the hardships of human life and so will the guardian and so will the mortal.

"I will wait for the return of my princess till either her oath is fulfilled or she fails as the guardian vowed. I will not have these incidents repeat in my kingdom. I cannot forgive my daughter for loving the mortal and nor can I forgive the guardian for loving her and as for mortal, he will also join us once this all is over. I will punish them once all they desired have come to pass in the mortals land."

"Guards seize the portals for all fairies to go to mortal land. Now onwards none of the fairies will visit there and our treaty with the dark king ends from this moment and none of the creatures of the night are allowed in my kingdom or the ones I under my protection henceforth" he ordered and left.

"And this is why we don't see any fairies in our land" an old woman said this to a boy.

"But grandma this is not fair, why punish all for the mistake of one" the little Losho asked.

"Son, it is the rule of nature when the equilibrium of nature is destroyed the consequences are to be faced not only by the one who caused it but the one who stood by it" Old woman replied.

"Grandma what happened after that" he asked eager to know more.

"No one knows my child, because no one heard anything about them anymore" the old woman replied smiling.

The little boy was unsatisfied but still, he nodded his head. Little did he know he would have the rest of the story unfold in his lifetime.
