Ambryl decided to look a bit extra mature so that Zeke would notice her and take her seriously.

Now all she had to think is to find a way to be close to him.

She knew Devonte corp was hiring interns so she saw this as an opportunity and decided to apply.

She put in a lot of effort into her look today.

She reached the building and signed up for the interview.

The head of HR was going to interview her. But she wanted easy access so she called Elisio.

Elisio came down to the ground floor to find Ambryl. He stopped at his place and looked at Ambryl. He had never seen her like this and liked what he was seeing.

He smiled and took her photo and sent it to Bruce.

He walked close to her and asked: "do I know you?"

"Very funny," said Ambryl and continued "look help me okay. I am here to work as an intern"

Elisio was not listening to her and was just staring at her.

"Okay. You are hired" said Elisio.

"Just like that?" Asked Ambryl.

"Of course. And you are my personal intern" smirked Elisio.

"I am not here to work for you. I am here to work for Zeke" whispered Ambryl.

Elisio creased his eyebrows and said "dad is not hiring"

"Please Elisio. Please" said Ambryl.

"What do I get out of this?" Asked Elisio.

"What do you want?" Asked Ambryl.

"Fine," said Ambryl.

"Give it to me" said Elisio.

"Here?" Said Ambryl.

Elisio looked around and said "fine. Later"

Ambryl nodded and Elisio took her to HR and told them to make her Zeke's assistant or something.

He then took Ambryl to Zeke's floor and went into Zeke's cabin.

"Why are you not assisting Bruno? And what's with the glasses?" Asked Zeke.

"I thought glasses make me look more grown-up. And I want to learn from you. And anyways dad is very nice and will only give me simple tasks and I was hoping you would give something Hard" said Ambryl.

Elisio cleared his throat understanding which hard she was referring to.

Zeke looked at Elisio and didn't understand what was going on.

Zeke was hesitant but after talking to Bruno he hired Ambryl.

Ambryl was Zeke's second assistant.

His first assistant took care of all his meetings and everything else. And Ambryl's work was to follow him, take notes, bring him coffee.

She was happy staying close to Zeke.

But Zeke always maintained distance.

After spending a month with Zeke she wanted to go a bit further into their relationship.

A relationship only she knew they had.

"Please book a table for two in the new sushi restaurant at 5th Avenue," said Zeke and Ambryl smiled and said, "for us?"

Zeke looked at Ambryl and said "maybe next time I'll take you all there. But this time it's for me and Ellen."

Ambryl stopped smiling and asked, "you are still seeing miss boring?"

Zeke laughed and said "she is not boring. You know she has a master's in French literature"

"Wow. That makes her so interesting" said Ambryl sarcastically.

Zeke laughed and said "and would call John to pick the boys from school and drop them at Sarah's. They will spend the weekend at Sarah's"

Ambryl looked at Zeke and bit her lower lip and didn't answer him.

Zeke looked at Ambryl and asked, "what's wrong?"

"Elisio is.. is different when his brothers go and stay with Sarah aunt and he is not invited" Said Ambryl.

Zeke smiles and says "but you and Bruce make plans to distract him. I have noticed that."

"Ya. I become his mummy and Bruce becomes his annoying brother and we have dinner and watch movies and all" laughed Ambryl.

Zeke laughed and thanked her.

Ambryl looked at him and said "he has always treated me like a mum.

Sometimes it looks like I am his step-mother"

Zeke looked at Ambryl and said "you are very young to be his step-mother. Now I think Ellen would be good for that"

Ambryl looked at Zeke with anger and asked "you will die early with boredom if you even think of marrying her. Anyways. Anything else?"

"No thank you," said Zeke and Ambryl left his cabin.

"Ellen my foot," said Ambryl. But right now Ellen was not her problem she had someone else to think about.

Like every other time, Elisio was standing outside Sarah's house at a distance.

He always did that. He used to stand out of Sarah's house when his brothers visited. He would imagine him being inside. His mother serving him his favourite dishes.

And smiling and kissing his forehead.

But it was all in his imagination. Sarah didn't even look at him.

Ambryl knew he was here.

She went close to him and held his hand.

"She doesn't know I am here. It's okay. I don't want to disturb her. She must have cooked shepherd's pie. Cause it's Isaiah's favourite dish. I don't like it" said Elisio.

"I made lasagna for you. I know you like it." Said Ambryl.

Elisio looked at Ambryl and said "thank you"

They both when back to Elisio's side of the mansion and Ambryl and Elisio had the lasagna in silence.

Ambryl got up and was about to pick Elisio's plate to clean the table but Elisio pulled her to a hug.

He was seated on his chair and Ambryl was standing and he placed his head on her chest and hugged her.

Elisio never shed tears. It felt like he was storing that anger inside him to remove it all on someone.

Ambryl held him too and ran her fingers on his hair.

Elisio lifted his head and looked at Ambryl and said "I love you"

Ambryl smiled and said "I love you too my baby"

Elisio suddenly stood up still holding her and said "kiss me. Your kiss is still pending from last time."

Ambryl leaned in to kiss his cheek but Elisio turned his face and kissed her lips.

"Elisio," said Ambryl.

"Ambryl, I know you want my dad. But do you think he will ever accept an inexperienced girl like you? He is a fully grown man. Men don't like silly girls who would cry when they lose their virginity to them or know nothing about sex. My dad is a Dom and he likes to dominate women for his sexual needs. Let me teach you to be an ideal woman for him. Let me" said Elisio.

"I want to be perfect for him," said Ambryl.

Elisio smirked and said "then let me make you woman" and he leaned in to kiss her more and moved them to his bedroom.
