2 2. Fate master

''Mom! Dad! You are here.'' Eleanor came running towards her parents, Ericson Heart and Helena Heart, embracing them in a long and peaceful hug.

The three of them stayed still in eachother's embrace like any normal people would when meeting after a long time. Infact, the emotions involved might even exceed the level of a normal one.

No one would have doubted that these three people are the ones holding the most powerful positions with the highest status in the Kingdom just by looking at how they were acting with eachother. No one would have thought that the Great and mighty King Ericson and his equally powerful wife, Queen Helena would act like any normal parent if not more dotting infront of their daughter, princess or you could say crown princess Beatrice. The three of them, in no way looked like how a mighty family should look like.

Beside them stood the two guardians of Eleanor, Mr and Mrs Summer. They looked on at the heart warming scene infront of them with tears in their eyes. No matter how many times they saw this exact same scene, their eyes would always tear up after seeing it again.

It was always like this. Everytime, when it was time for the King and Queen to arrive, Eleanor would get so excited that sleep and hunger would leave her. And when he day the would come finally arrived, she would wait for them by the doorstep for hours.

To others, Eleanor may seem a little cold, but to her family, she would be the warmest person alive. And it wasn't just Eleanor who was that way. Evern King Ericson and Queen Helena were the same. It might be something that has gone wrong in their gene and is now being passed down from one generation to another.

''James, Emma, thank you for taking care of our baby girl so well.'' Queen Helena said, her voice and eyes filled with greatfullness.

''Please don't embarrass us like that your Majesty. It is our honor to be able to do something so great for the Kingdom.'' James Summer said while bowing and Emma Summer followed.

''There is no need for such courtesy James, Emma.'' King Ericson said as he lifted James by his shoulder making him stand straight while Queen Helena did the same for Emma.

Before becoming the gurdains of Eleanor, both James and Emma were members of the kings personal shadow guards. Infact James was the leader if the group while Emma is one of the elites.

The two had a fling but were unable to express themselves. King Ericson being so wise and observant obviously knew what was happening so when Eleanor was born, he mad either two of them her guardians, pulling their strings of fate. After staying together for a year they finally got engaged and got married a month after.

So one could say, the fate master behind Mr. and Mrs. Summer is the young Eleanor because she is the one who made them realize their feelings for eachother.
