7 My Mother Has A New Family?

Aiden opens the door and went downstairs. He puts his hands inside his pocket but he stops when he heard a soft yet sweet voice whined over something. Aiden furrows his eyebrows and walks slowly.

That voice leads him to the kitchen. Once he saw it, there she is, with her blue short pants and crop top hoodie.

"Please!!!! Just this once!!!" Aurora pleaded with the maid.

"I'm sorry, Miss. But, Mr.Aiden wouldn't like it." She says.

"He wouldn't know it. Believe me!! We keep this as a secret." Aurora says.

Aiden hates it when she keeps something from him. He walks toward her without her notice.

"Miss, I can't-" The maid gasp and bowed politely. Aurora frowns then she turns around.

She yelps in surprise and she almost stumbles back. Aiden raises his eyebrows with her.

"A-Aiden..." Aurora looks down.

"What so special until you want to keep it from me?" Aiden asks with a cold tone.

"I...I um..." Aurora bites her lips in nervousness.

"Tell me!!" Aiden raises his voice. She lifted her gaze with puffing cheeks and it makes Aiden melt by her cuteness.

"Don't screech to me!!!" Aurora puffs her cheeks.

"I'm not screeching you. I just want to know what is it." Aiden says.

"I just want to go out.." Aurora finally tells him.

"Then?" Aiden asks.

"I know you wouldn't like it. So, I decide to...um..." She was scared to continue the sentence.

"Don't tell me you want to sneak out and escaped school but get caught by maid." Aiden guesses it.

Aurora gasp and looks at him with fear. She slowly nodded her head. Aiden let out a heavy sigh and push his hair back.

"You know you will get yourself in danger if you go out without me knowing." Aiden scolds her.

"Geez, don't scold me like I'm 5 years old. I just know you recently. Don't take care of me like you know everything about me." Aurora crosses her arms.

"Even we just met recently, you still under my watch. I told you, you are mine. Once, something to you, I couldn't forgive myself anymore." Aiden says.

Aurora looks at him and their eyes met. She falls into his blue eyes. But, she shakes it off. She clears her throat and walks away.

"Where are you going!?" Aiden asks.

"School of course!!!" Aurora yells.

"Let me send you!!" Aiden says as he takes his car keys and his belongings.

Aurora who's at upstairs groaning when she hears that. She packs her books and stuff in her backpack. When she about to take her jacket, something dropped from her jacket pocket.

"Huh? What is this?" She takes it and it was the pen drive.

Then, it hit her. She found this on the street then a group of men tries to find it. She still keeps it and didn't return it.

"Thank god, they didn't saw me at that time." Aurora mutters.

She staring at the pen drive and frowns. "What is inside this thing?"

Aurora becomes curious about this thing. Because those groups of men become panic when this thing is gone. So, she thought it might be something important inside it.

"Aurora!! Are you going to stay in your room or going to school!?" Aiden shouting from outside.

"J-Just minute!!!" Aurora replied.

That pen drive looks shiny. She shrugs her shoulder and puts it inside her bag. She went out after that.

The bell has rung. Aurora still in the car, waiting for Melda and her chicks walks in. She doesn't want to meet her because there's no good thing happens whenever comes to Melda.

Aiden staring at her with confusion. Bell already rings but she still inside the car. He knows something that she hides from him or something that she hides from everyone.

"Hey, bell already ring. Don't you want to get to your class? You might be late." Aiden says.

"Just a little bit more." Aurora answer simply.

"Are you okay? You look...tense." Aiden frowns. She turns her head and smiles.

"I'm okay." She turns her head to look outside the window again.

Melda and her chicks get inside the school and she sighs in relief. She grabs her backpack.

"I will get going now. See you." Aurora gives him a small smile and went out.

Aiden blinks his eyes, feeling confused by her act.

In the class, the teacher starts the lesson. Aurora just writes the notes and focus on the lesson. But, she felt someone staring at her.

She lifted her gaze and saw a guy staring at her. He has that blonde hair and looks charming. Aurora furrows her eyebrows and feels uncomfortable. So, she pulls her hoodie over her head to hide her face.

"Like there's no one else to stare at." She mutters.

That guy chuckles and focuses on the lesson back. Aurora peeks at him under her hoodie and saw he didn't look at her.

"Phew..." Aurora sigh in relief.

Class ended and Aurora packs her things. She went out but someone holds her wrist. She looks at that person and found the guy who stares at him.

"Yes?" Aurora asks.

"May I talk with you?" He asks.

"S-Sure..." Aurora respond.

They walk to the place where there's no one. It breaks time so everyone busy buying food and eats. Aurora standing awkwardly in front of him and wait for him to talks.

"So?" She asks.

"Are you perhaps...Aurora?" He asks while pointing at her.

"Yes. I am. Why?" Aurora asks in confusion.

His jaw drops. He chuckles and closes his mouth like he couldn't believe it. While Aurora looking at him with confusion.

"Woah. I can't believe it." He says.

"What? Who are you? Why are you acting as you know me?" Aurora asks.

"Hey, everyone knows you. A girl who is always get bullied." He scoffs.

Aurora sighs. "If you want to talk about that then I will go."

"Wait!!" He holds her wrist.

But, Aurora pulls her wrist back harshly. She hates skin contact with unknown people. Aiden? Well, let's forget about that first.

"You are my step-sister." He finally says it.

Aurora frowns and looks at him like 'WTF?'.

"What are you talking about? I never have siblings." Aurora says.

"Your mother married my father, Aurora." He smiles.

"W-What?" Her eyes widen.

"She divorces your father right? So, she married my father and say that I have a step-sister. And her name is Aurora. I even saw your picture." He says.

Aurora couldn't believe it. Her eyes teary and her hands clench into a fist. Her mother abandoned her and have a good life on her own without telling her or something.

"But, she told me not to meet you. Well, I don't care." He laughs.

Aurora couldn't think of anything but sadness. Why everyone abandoned her? Is she not good enough?

"Hey-" Without let that guy talk, Aurora runs away without knowing his name.

"Aurora wait!!!" He yells.
