12 Bullied?

"AIDEN!!!!"

He clutching his stomach and groaning in pain. Aurora's eyes widen her jaw drops and blinking her eyes. She didn't think it was him.

" A-Are you okay?" She asks as she knee in front of him.

"I-I'm okay. At least...I know...you c-can hit s-someone." Aiden speaks.

She chuckles, " I'm sorry, Aiden. I thought someone barge in because I forgot to lock the main door."

They get up and Aiden shakes his head to forget the pain. "That's why I come here. I about to scold you but after you did, I think maybe next time."

" Anyway, I have to sleep. Goodnight." She about to get on her bed but he grabs her wrist.

She turns to him with a confused expression.

"What?"

"Do you have something to say to me?" Aiden raises his eyebrows. She furrows her eyebrows.

"No?" Aurora makes it sounds like a question.

"I mean...about what happened at the gym. What should you say about it?" He said. His voice changes into the stern.

Aurora knows what he means. But she just acts like she doesn't know.

"I don't know what you refer to, Aiden." She speaks.

He let out a heavy sigh. " Aurora, don't play dumb."

"Ughh. I don't know what you talking about. I want to sleep." Aurora pulls her wrist and gets on the bed.

" Fine. I don't know what your intention of this but please...stop looking down on yourself." Aiden said. He turns around and about to open the door. Before he touches the knob, Aurora spokes.

"I'm sorry." She says. " I just...I never met someone who will take care of me as you do..."

Aiden looks at her and her back facing him. A smile appeared on his face and opens the door. "I always do. Because I love you." With that, he went out.

Soon the door shut close, Aurora sighs. She looks at the door, thinking why Aiden wants her? There are a billion people in this world and yet, he still chooses her. Even he just met her recently.

Next Morning.

Jack close the door and went to the kitchen. He saw Aiden pouring a coffee for himself.

" Woah. As far as I know, you are not a morning person. Plus, today is your day off." Jack looks at him with a surprised expression.

"Good morning Jack. I want to send Aurora to school. You can do your work. I will be taken care of her today." Aiden replied.

Jack joins to sit on a bar chair with him. " How is she?"

"Fine. I just need to...convinced her about me." Aiden responds.

" That's great. Aurora seems like...a good girl to me. She just needs someone to show her what's love." Jack said while eating the bread on the table.

"Anyway, got anything about Aurora?" He asks.

"Oh yes!! About that..." Jack takes out his phone. "Does Aurora told you about her school life?" His gaze fixes on Aiden.

"No. She never talks about it. Why?" Aiden frowns.

" Well, I just found that...your kitten...being bullied, dude." Jack spilled it out.

Aiden's eyes widen and his jaw drops. He didn't expect this would become out of Jack's mouth. He slams the glass down causing it to broke.

"Dude!! You broke the glass!!!" Jack yells.

"Who is that person?" He ignored the statements of Jack. Right now, he just focuses on Aurora's case.

"Um...Her name is Melda. She same class as Aurora. For more information, you can ask her yourself."

Aiden let out a heavy sigh. He pushes his hair back. Suddenly, a soft voice makes them turn around to that person.

" Why so loud this early morning?" Aurora walks into the kitchen while rubbing her eyes.

"Oh. Uh...Good morning Aurora!!" Jack greets.

"Morning." She yawns while saying that. Jack squealing brightly when saw her cuteness.

"Do you want cereal? I will make it for you." Jack speaks as he makes breakfast for her.

Aurora nods and turns her head to Aiden who's silent. She walks toward him and saw broken glass on the table.

" Aiden!! The glass is broke!! Are you okay!?" She becomes panic.

"Yeah. I am." He responds. "Get ready fast. I will send you to school." With that, he walks away.

Aurora who's confused right now looks at Jack. He just shrugs his shoulder and continues doing her breakfast.

Aurora grabs her bag and went downstairs only to see Aiden talking with bodyguards. She walking towards them.

"Make sure they didn't forget about it." He said with a stern voice.

The bodyguard nods. As Aiden realizes that she standing behind him, he signs the guards to go.

He turns around with a smile. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah. Anyway, you look angry just now. What's wrong?" Aurora asks.

"Nothing. Let's go." He grabs her hand and brings her out.

The car filled with silence. Somehow, Aurora can feel that Aiden is angry about something and she couldn't figure it out.

She tries to think about what she did wrong. She apologized yesterday and yet he still angry? She played with her fingers.

"Aiden? What's wrong? Does something happen?" Aurora asks.

"If I ask, do you think you will answer me without hesitation or any question?" He exclaims.

"Um...well...Maybe?" Aurora said.

"Yes or no." He asks again.

" Fine. Yes." She sighs.

"Who bullied you?" Aiden grips on the steering wheel tightened.

Meanwhile Aurora, her body stiff soon he asks that. Like, how he knows? Who tells him? Why does he ask so suddenly?

" Aurora," Aiden calls her name.

"Um...what are you talking about?" Aurora giggles nervously.

"Don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about like yesterday. Tell. Me." He glances at her with glares.

Aurora takes a deep breath and lets it out. "So that you can make her stop? Aiden, I don't want to depend my life on you." She said.

"You didn't. I'm the one who wants to protect you. So your job is to tell me about Melda." He speaks.

"Wait. How do you know her name?" She frowns at him.

"Didn't it obvious? I'm mafia, kitten. I can do whatever I want. Now tell me about her before we reach school." He stops the car because it's a red light. "Or...you want me to go find her once we reach school?" He smirks at her.

But she knows, behind that smirks, is anger.
