"Did you enjoy it, though?" Zane asked. He glanced at all the production staff, whose eyes were always on them. He scoffed, "I guess not. We're getting recorded all the time, anyway."

"I'm enjoying it," Madeline said. She leaned on his arm. Her eyes still stared at the hill, counting the monkeys that she saw. 

She sat on this spot because, from this angle, none of the cameramen could record her face. She needed to relax a bit after having to play this bitchy character for a while.

"Really?" Zane asked. Her answer surprised him because he thought she would continue to play the character she invented to stay relevant. 

But she sounded genuine, and her voice was sweet and soft. 

But it was only a split second before she raised her voice again to make herself sound mean: "Yeah, because all of these monkeys look like you. So ugly, ewww."
