Lance returned to his penthouse. He threw himself on his bed, as he just had a long flight from Bali to Los Angeles.

He should've been sleeping, but he couldn't even close his eyes right now.

His mind and heart were restless as he kept thinking about Madeline Rose, the woman who made things far more difficult than he expected. 

Lance stared at the ceiling as he thought about the choice that Madeline had given him.

"To make her a mere business tool…" Lance muttered. "Or to make her my real girlfriend…"
