Meeting the best friend's roommate

Susan reached the given address and realised that this was not what she had expected at all. She was pleasantly surprised when she saw the three storey building which looked cozy and was painted in warm colours. The building also had graffiti on it which was extremely awe-inspiring.

She had never really travelled anywhere except for Florida to her Nana's house and that also stopped after her mother's death. So, this was her first time traveling to New York and she thought that the graffiti art was very beautiful. She felt like it was created with the heart and soul of the artist.

She really didn't want to interrupt Alex's roommate as she didn't know him at all. However,she gathered her courage and rang the doorbell and waited for the door to open.

The door didn't open. She rang the bell again and the door still didn't open. With no other choice left, she bent down to pick up the keys from their hiding place. That was when a pair of feet came into her vision. She raised her eyes slowly. She came across a towel, then six pack abs, long neck with a prominent Adam's apple and a brutally handsome face with chiseled cheekbones. The eyes that contacted hers seemed to be black like the dark night in which a person could get lost. For a moment, she seemed to be speechless.

She didn't know where she was and what she was doing. She forgot everything except for gazing into his eyes.

That mesmerising mouth opened and seemed to be speaking something. However, she didn't know what it was.

The hand attached to that handsome man looked as if it was moving towards her and waved in front of her.

She snapped out of her daze then. She was still, however , unable to comprehend his words.

"May I help you, miss?" he said in a smooth baritone voice.
