Leaving LA

That's all it took for Alex to recognise his childhood friend,Susan.

"Hey, what's wrong Susan?" asked Alex in a voice full of concern.

Susan, who was not accustomed to anyone being concerned about her, was unable to suppress her tears after hearing the worry in his voice and she told what had happened in between sobs. Alex tried his best to console her by saying soothing words to her and giving his advice.

"I think you should leave LA." suggested Alex.

"But I don't have anywhere to go."

"Come to New York", Alex continued."I have a place here and we'll figure out everything together alright."

She was grateful for Alex's calm and cool head which was ironical because in the past,she was the voice of reason in every crisis and he was always emotional and rash. It's strange how life changes a person and his personality.

Perhaps ,it were the circumstances that made her like this but one thing was sure she needed to get back the old her.

So without much hesitation she agreed and thus began a new chapter of her life. For the first time in a very long time, she had hope and she was excited for her future.
