18 The Truth

I looked at him. “You want me to do business?”

“Yes”

“Okay I will”

He smiled and nodded.

I have to know the truth. He has definitely changed and there is something that seems fishy.

One week later.

“So, we’ll cut off the deal” I smiled at him.

“Correct. That’s how business works”

“Pretty easy”

“Yeah, it is”

I nodded. In the past week, he has taught me about business - pretty much every important detail. and yeah, this week was so rushed and we had some hard moments but I realised that he was calm as long as I was ready to do business.

I felt something strange around him. I am close to knowing the truth.

“We’ll make the announcement that you are taking over the business in some minutes”

“Okay…” I sighed. I still don’t understand why he wants me to take it over. And why is he in such a rush, to make me take over it today only.
