prologue

"i like you!" arliegh confessed, head hanging low with eyes tightly close not really anticipating to the rejection coming right up

a sigh was heard from the readhead "are sure you're not just confused kid?" she raised a brow.

absolutely— or not. possibly she is but maybe she's actually sure of it. but is she really just confused after continuesly staring at the redhead oh-so-lovingly whenever she passes by her during lunch. arliegh could be just really be just attracted to the redhead as the girl is quite of a beauty that she is; tall, slim, freckles, red wavy hair, porcelain skin. an absolutely model.

the raven head girl gulped her own saliva at the older girl's words, eyes still staring at the ground as if it were the most interesting and eye catching thing that came to be fixed on his sight.

the redhead, athena jones groaned silently as she ran a hand through her hair "i cant exactly reject you" she mumbled

arliegh's head shot up to look up to the older "what?" confused was written all over her face.

athena instead smiled at the younger, one that had always fooled people "i like you too kid" she said, making the younger widen your eyes

"did you just—"

"yes, i did" chuckled athena

the younger squinted her eyes at the older, questioning her whole existence "are you sure about that?"

the redhead couldn't help but smile at the younger's reaction but decided not show any of it "i very much, am sure about it." she scowled

"you're not trippin right?"

"look here do you wanna go out on a date or not?" she turned her back at the raven head "it's a simple question. just tell me yes or no." she glanced back at her.

"y-yes, i'd like to" she stuttered, deciding to look away, obviously intimidated by the glaring eyes of the redhead.

"good." with that, athena started to make her way to exit the classroom "meet me at the gaston village, at 7pm" she declared

"ye—"

"sharp. i dont wanna be kept waiting for idiot like you are" she glanced back at her. well more like a glare actually.

ouchie. at least filter your words a little.

"ye—"

shut. athena had shut the door close, loud enough to make a sound of a loud thud that made arliegh flinch from her place.

a sigh escaped from the younger's lips as she then pursed it into a thin line, body settling down at a chair.

"i guess it's a date then" she smiled bitterly, contemplating whether to believe her words was true or was some sick game she wanted or was dared to play.
