Kora took a step back, raising her arms to show that she had nothing in them, and harmony only growled. Bella was too afraid of the sound of the growl to move, but J'marion grew angry because harmony had no known reason to be this rude to Kora.
" Harmony, snap out of it! There is no need to be this rude and inconsiderate to her! She has nothing in her hands or on her for that matter! Come back to your senses and assess this situation!" J'marion screamed desperately in hopes to get harmony back to her normal senses. He knew that it was extremely dangerous to stand up to a wolf instinct such as harmony's, but he knew that he had to take the chance before he lost it.
Harmony turned away from Kora but still paying close attention to what she could hear and smell of her. Now facing j'marion harmony's eyes flashed from the vibrant green they currently are to her normal ocean water hazel eyes but only for a second before turning right back to the vibrant deadly green of her instinct. J'marion knew that harmony had heard him, but there was nothing she could do at this point the instinct had almost completely taken over her mind and body.
Bella had been backing up to the door the entire time this was happening, seemingly unnoticed by harmony, J'marion, or Kora.
As everyone was fighting once more, with harmony going after both J'marion and Kora, Bella unlocked the door and opened it just enough to slip out the room. She closed the door back and walked down the long and narrow hallway to the courtyard of the school.
Once in the courtyard she pulled out her phone and called someone. When the other person picked up, Bella smiled and said," I have something you want but it's going to cost you an hefty amount of money. I'm on the courtyard if you're willing to meet any and all of my demands." She smiled and ended the call.
[Back with harmony]
Harmony's pov
"STOP!!! YOU CAN'T DO THIS! THEY AREN'T A THREAT!! YOU HAVE NO REASON TO ATTACK!!!" I yelled helplessly into the darkness of my own mind, hoping to get through to my instinct.
I feel like an outsider in my own mind. It feels like ive been shoved into a cage never to see the light of day again. I can only catch small glances of what's going on from the outside. With each glimpse I get to see, I become even more desperate to escape this endless darkness.
I have no idea how my instinct got the better of me. this normally doesn't happen even on the blood moon. All I know is that I heard a noise and then the next glimpse I see is me swinging my claws into J'marion's chest. There's blood everywhere and the instinct finally retreated and let have control.
Narrator pov
harmony stood up from the now limp j'marion lying on the floor having been knocked out. Her hands were shaking wildly. She had terror seemingly locked on her face. Her ears pressed flat against her head, and her tail between her legs. She looked at Kora and once she saw the horrified look on her face she started crying and whispered a single phrase.
.... I'm a monster just like him.....
Then she ran out the door and wile running down the hallway she shifted into a wolf something only a select few can do. Her golden ash blonde coat of fur stained with blood on her front paws and along her chest. As soon as she was out of the hallway she followed, Bella's scent and saw her in the courtyard hanging up her phone.
Harmony ran up to her and shifted back. Bella looked surprised to see her here and in this state. Harmony fell to the ground on her knees and started to cry.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Harmony kept saying over and over again. Bella didn't know what was going on and quickly knelt down to harmony's level.
"Harmony! What happened!? You know what we have to go, or they will get you." Bella said very concerned as to what happened for harmony to be like this. Harmony nodded her head, hearing the thud of the patrolling military personnel coming closer and closer to their location.
They both just barely made it to the narrow hallway and out of the passing guard's sights. Letting out a sigh of relief, Bella took harmony's hand, not caring about the blood, and dragged her to the room once again.
Once they entered the room, she saw kora helping j'marion by putting bandages around his chest. Once they saw harmony, they both backed up a little bit. Harmony just looked at the floor and stayed by the door.
"What happened with harmony? And why do you have bandages? And harmony, I swear to god if you leave this room again ill beat your ass." Bella said in an annoyed but worried tone. Hearing that harmony stopped reaching for the door.
"I-... I was fighting with harmony when she dug her claws into my chest and then I passed out. When I came to she was gone and kora was putting bandages on me the best she could with me lying unconscious on the ground. But I believe that it was just her instinct that saw me as a threat since I tried to stop it and that's why she attacked me. right harmony? You wouldn't hurt me on purpose, right?" J'marion said, still shaken up from the attack.
Bella turned around to face harmony with sadness, anger, and confusion. Harmony saw that she had faces her and looked up.
" Is it true? Is it true that you tried to kill him?" Bella yelled at her. Harmony flinched from the volume of her voice and lowered her head in shame and regret.
"I- I didn't m-mean to-" harmony, tried to defend herself but bella lunged at her and slammed her against the wall. you could hear the crack of harmony's skull and see the blood going down the wall. Bella continued to yell and slam harmony into the wall.
J'marion tried to get up to stop bella, but kora stopped him.
"This is something that they need to work out by themselves." kora said quiet enough so that the other two girls wouldn't hear it.
"they're going to kill each other! How could you say that this is something that they need to work out themselves?!?!?" j'marion was just as confused as he was anger and worried.
"just listen to what they're saying and you'll know why." Kora said effectively shifting J'marion's attention over to the girls.
"-ou can't just do that! I can't stand the thought of my two best friends tearing each other apart! I can't bear the thought of losing one of you!" Bella continued to yell her heart out for several more minutes. Harmony sat through all of it. the occasional insult would be thrown her way and all she could do was accept it because what bella was saying was nothing short of the truth.
finally when bella was done harmony had several cracks to her skull and was probably losing a lot of blood, but she couldn't care less. Because when bella had stopped she went down to the floor in tears softly saying 'don't leave me, you can't leave me' over and over again. the truth was bella was afraid to have the only people she considered real friends to leave her.
J'marion had sat off to the side the entire time, listening to what bella had to say because harmony never once spoke. She had remained silent, even while getting beaten nearly to death, she didn't even let a feeble whimper escape her lips. J'marion wondered why harmony wouldn't show that she was in more pain than imaginable without the beating she took.
kora had left some time ago because she knew that this didn't concern her. j'marion just sat there and watched the girls hug, eventually joining in to try and comfort the girls. Harmony opened her mouth to say something, but what came out was a silent scream of pain.
they had all been so caught up in the hug that they hadn't noticed the door was opened. The two guards the girls thought that they evaded had apparently seen them and followed them. once they had entered the room they had stabbed harmony with a special knife.
J'marion quickly tried to attack the guard who stabbed harmony, but bella had a needle and injected him with whatever was in it. As j'marion was laying there on the floor, paralyzed from the injection, bella looked at the guards.
"It's good to see you again boss." the guard said looking at bella and j'marion blacked out, preventing him from hearing more of the conversation.
