1 Chapter1

Harmony woke up in the morning to the endless beeping of the alarm clock. As she turns off the alarm, she starts her day with a stretch and yawn. She quickly does her daily routine. She chose to skip breakfast and head to school. Before leaving, she checked the time.

"Seven-thirty. Wow. I thought I took longer." She said and realized that she could hang around her house for a bit longer. Suddenly her phone rang, so she fished it out of her pocket. When she saw the screen, she took a long sigh and answered.

"Hello auntie. How may I help you?" She asked trying to sound as polite as possible. She hoped that this conversation didn't end as all the previous ones had.

"Well since me ,your uncle, and Drake haven't seen you in a while we figured that we would come over for a visit. We know that you need some space, but we feel that you need some family-" Her aunt had been cut off when she heard Harmony growl.

"I don't mind you staying for a few days, but don't act like you're my mother. I will not have my mother's name of presence taken by someone else. My family is dead as far as I'm concerned. I will not let you try and be my parent. Guardian sure but never parent. Now I have to go to school. Text me when you get here. Bye." She pulled the phone away from her ear and hung up before her aunt had a chance to reply.

Harmony felt a stinging in her eyes and a water drop landed on her shirt. She rose her hand up to wipe her eyes and realized that she was indeed genuinely crying. She grabbed her keys. She hoped that her eyes weren't puffy from crying.

She walked out the door, locking it and placing a key for her aunt. She then proceeded to the truck and once inside of it she checked her eyes. They were glazed over with tears threatening to spill as she remembered the night it all happened.

No matter what she did, she couldn't forget that night. The night she grew cold, unloving, hateful, and explosive. After that night she wasn't the same lovable, affectionate, innocent, sweet girl, that would bring a smile to your face at anytime, no matter how you felt, anymore.

Snapping herself from the memory, she started the truck, buckled up, and pulled out of her drive way. She began to drive away to get school. Her once tearful eyes now shined like daggers hitting the morning light. Her face, now stone-cold, she arrived at the school.

She parked the truck and got out. I few students around the truck flinched at the sound of her boots hitting the ground. They moved as she started walking. Once threw the gates of the school, she quickly was hugged by her little brother. Who had just gotten into the school as a freshman.

"Hi sister! I haven't seen you in a while! Why do you look so mad now?" He jokingly said the last part. Harmony smiled a bit. Some students were staring in shock that she had not only let the boy touch her but made her smile too. Harmony noticed it but ignored it.

"Hey Dylan. So how are you liking the school so far?" Harmony asked trying to be nice around her brother.

"Well I-" Dylan began but then the popular kids walked in, slamming the gates open to make their presence known. They looked dead at Dylan and he gulped. Harmony just rolled her eyes. They walked over to Harmony.

" Well, look here, boys it's a new face in campus! This one must not of heard about miss harmony here. Well, let me tell ya kid she gets into fights on the regular and most of the school fears her. So stay away and no offense harmony but just warning the kid. "Erica, the head cheerleader, said chuckling at the end.

Harmony just looked down and chuckled darkly. She rose her head up once again with an amused look on her face.

" You can use this kid all you want, but he won't ever leave me. He doesn't care about what you say or do. Oh, and try not to piss him off unless you want to get beat up. " Harmony said her arms crossed over her chest. She gave the two a death glare that made Erica's boyfriend cower behind her while she stood frozen.

Dylan laughed at his sister. She glared at him and it only made him laugh harder. Everyone looked dumbfounded and scared, except for harmony, at the scene in front of them.

"Why are you laughing?! You just saw that we weren't lying to you about her! And how are you not scared of her glare?!" Erica said a bit frustrated at his behavior.

"Well, I'm laughing at your friend and how he cowered at that glare. I'm also not scared of the glare because I have had to deal with it for like three or so years. And I'm not leaving my sister's side. I don't care what kind of reputation she has. She is still my sister and not a little stuck up bitch like your pig looking ass. And yes you heard me correctly, I insulted you. If you want me to explain it, then I will have to find some crayons and paper for you to understand." Dylan said walking closer to Erica and whispered in her ear.

"And if I hear any rumors about my sister that originated from your mouth, I will personally take my fist, every single knuckle, shove it down your throat, grab you by the fucking arse, and rip it back out your mouth. Got it?"

Erica shook her head frantically and walked off whiter than a white piece of paper hitting the sun. When Dylan turned around, expecting to be congratulated by his sister for his words, she was no where to be seen.

"Well, I at least thought that she would say bye. Anyway, time for class! That is if I can find it." Dylan said and as if right on time the bell rang . As he was trying to find his class he bumped into someone and fell flat on his ass.

The stranger started to laugh as the tardy bell rang. Once they were done, they helped him up off the cold midnight marble floor.

"Sorry about that. I'm guessing that you're a freshmen and are looking for your class right?" The stranger said to Dylan.

"Oh! Yes I am! How did you know? And I'm Dylan by the way." Dylan said a smile on his face.

"Cool. I'm a senior here. I'm also the king at the school, but you can call me J'marion." J'marion said smiling at Dylan.
