Germany. A country with rich history. From the Holocaust to the fall of the Berlin Wall, everyone must've heard about them.

Berlin is a symbol of reunification of Germany.

After years and years of hardwork and tears, Lily finally became a physician she wished to be. From her broken past and heartbreak, she learned not to depend on anyone but herself. It's been a long way for seven years. Seven years in Berlin made her realize her painful past was just a small obstacle. Now, that she is a physician, like any other medical students, she couldn't wait for the white coat ceremony.

She invited Jeffrey, Rachel, her aunt and uncle to Berlin Medical University. She was absolutely grateful for the opportunity. Without her friend's support, these seven years will be very difficult. She made a promise to herself years ago and finally she can say, she has changed. In terms of change, she grew in knowledge and grew more mature. She became much more attractive.

Medical school made her forget everything about her past whether it was Marcus or being cheated on. She didn't care about any shits about him. All she cared for are her family and friends.

Marcus. That name made Lily sick in the stomach. She remembered vividly of how Elizabeth and Marcus kissed so deeply. She also saw their wedding photos on magazine. They were known as the hot couple in the entertainment world. Hot couple, she thought.

"Hot couple, my ass." Lily remembered rolling her eyes and threw the magazine into the trash can. She did not want to read anything about them. Thankfully, their news died down.

That evening, in the main conference hall, hundreds of medical student went in wearing their white coat. Lily was among them. She was assigned to sit in the front row among many others. They were her friends and classmates. Everyone was eager for the white coat ceremony to start. Family and friends were assigned to sit in the back rows.

Soon, the school principal made a good long speech that made half of the medical students fall asleep. The medical school director stood on the podium announcing all medical graduates to stand up.

They were required to do the Hippocratic Oath.

Lily and the other medical graduates stood up and placed their right hand across their chest.

"I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgement... I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in who steps I walk... and share such knowledge ... and those who are to follow. I will apply, for the benefit of the sick... avoid twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism. I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science.... I will respect the privacy of my patient ... I will remember that i do not treat fever chart, a cancerous growth but a sick human being... I will prevent disease whenever I can... I will remain a member of society.. May I always act so as to preserve the finest tradition of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

After Hippocratic Oath, they are officially physicians. Lily was full of joy inside of her heart. Whatever may come in the future, she can face it by herself. She was not a naive girl, she is now changed.

Lily faced all kind of failures and harsh times in school but she was proud of herself after all of the sacrifices she made. She grew up and was more mature.

In the next days, Lily spent the times saying farewell to her friends because she will soon fly back to Shanghai. Her aunt and uncle flew back first. They will pick her up when she arrives in Shanghai. She went shopping one last time with Rachel and Jeffrey. Rachel will work in Japan in a few days while Jeffrey will follow Lily to Shanghai.

Lily took one last look at her home in Berlin. She will miss the nightlife, the people, and all of the beautiful architectures. She promised herself one day, she will bring her loved one here. As the plane starts to ascend, she relaxed on her seat while Jeffrey fell asleep in front of her.

Seven years.

From heartbreak...

Found new dream...

Made sacrifices...

Now a doctor.

Lily will be ready for whatever crap her life throws at her. She seen it all.

HS Group (Shanghai) became the largest business company in short amount of time which overlooks HS hotels, HS restaurants, and HS Tourism. They were once underdogs in the business world but recently became a hot topic.

Many reporters were outside the company waiting to get a glimpse of the Prince of HS Group. The most handsome President of the HS Group.

Daniel Kim. From being at the brink of death to President, it took many years of hardwork, sweat, and tears to form this company.

"President Kim, I'll escort you." Ray, his assistant escorted Daniel to the lobby. Daniel was tall with short black hair swept across his forehead hiding his gunshot scar. He was stoic and was known as cold-blooded but he was handsome as ever. Every young girls and even older female reporters fought to get a glimpse of the hottest Prince in the business world. Not only that, another handsome man stood behind him. He was German-American. His name was Jeffrey Schmidt. He trained as bodyguard in Germany. Right now, he is working for President Kim of the HS Group.
