52 Blind

"Hello, Kate," Twins chirped,

"Good morning, Kate," Noah said while Sydney only passed her a glance before filling a cup of coffee for Noah.

"Look, what I got you two," Kate said before taking a seat beside Amber while kids smiled wide looking at a beautiful box of cookies.

"Noah, I don't think that project your friend is launching in a week is a great idea. I have some friends who can help him,..."

"Wow!!!, thank you, Kate," Amber smiled cutting Kate off but then looked at Sydney,

"Mom! Can I take this?" Amber asked looking at Sydney making Kate look at Noah with questions.

"Sure honey," Sydney smiled and seemed to be proud of Amber and didn't take long to add,

"Noah, I think I got this tie color wrong. Give me a minute I will be back." In seconds, Noah realized what Sydney was up to but before he could reply Sydney was gone already.

"Sydney is my wife," Noah said when he couldn't bear Kate's questioning stare anymore.

"Well, I know but you can't go back to her just like that. You can't switch on and off your feelings Noah." Kate's shocked tone made kids wonder what these two are talking about.

"The only reason that I am not mad at you for hiding Sydney's identity is we are not even friends,...and, what kind of emotions I hold or not is my personal business. You can send me an email anytime you have an idea to discuss," Collecting Noah's gesture she replied with a hard jaw.

"I have an important business to attend to," The sharpness in Kate's voice made the kids look at their father as if he was to blame.

"She is in a hurry. We will make up," Noah smiled while Sydney came out with a blue tie.

"What was that?" Noah couldn't help asking once their driver started the car.

"What are we talking about?" Sydney asked as if clueless.

"You acted like a two-year-old. Do you have any idea where she managed to get her father's company? Give her some respect." Noah banters getting close to her face and seemed visibly disappointed.

"First, I don't want to know how successful she is. Second, she is free to own whatever she wants except you," Sydney said the last part looking at his mouth.

Noah gulped observing the tension that he didn't notice previously before replying, "You don't own me too,"

"Ask Kate," Sydney said as she managed to stop herself from laughing. Noah couldn't help but shook his head as he muttered, "Tie! Seriously..."

"Hello, Mrs. Miller!" Sydney was welcomed by Claudia and Sydney couldn't help but share a hug with her.

"How have you been?" Sydney asked while leaving these two women Noah get to his office.

"I was always here but you are to tell me what this whole ordeal about. You are literally back from being,... dead." Claudia said offering her a sweet smile.

"Let's not talk about it right now. We are to work here." Sydney shared the news making Claudia ask,

"So, you are our new director or something?"

"His secretary," Sydney announced before turning around,

"Take this coffee to him," Claudia smiled,

"I am not here to steal your work. I am only here to check files for him or rest in his bedroom." Sydney smiled before accepting the cup.

"You are talking about getting in your boss' bed on your first day." Claudia gasped before adding in secrecy,

"You will go ahead," Sydney shook her head before getting to Noah's office to see him busy talking to someone on the phone. She placed the cup on the table for him while he nodded still busy on the phone.

"I didn't ask what you graduate in. I can't risk fearing you with the workload on the first day." Noah smiled while Sydney's face dropped a little.

"I am not a graduate," Sydney replied,

"And, I knew that before our wedding?" Noah asked just in case,

"Yea, it didn't matter to you, but you can let me review if there are any legal proceedings needing your sign. I do it all the time for Saad,"

Noah seemed reluctant for a few seconds before adding, "Sure, but ask me if there is something you can't get,"

"I will," Sydney nodded before following Noah's gesture to take a seat across him.

Noah left after five minutes for a meeting while Sydney helped to check him three files only before her kids called her.

"Hey," Sydney looked at their faces and they seemed to play in the sand.

"Mom, when you and dad are coming?" Gideon asked,

"We will be back in the evening..."

"Mom, Gideon made a painting and it's beautiful," Amber cut her off and Sydney asked,

"Show me,"

"You can come and see." Gideon smiled and Sydney knew what she had to do.

"I am coming," Kids seemed to be overjoyed but the moment she cut the call she felt a presence behind her. Looking up she found Noah looking at her cellphone too.

"Mr. Miller, I think I am having a headache. I will head back home,..."

"Your appointment letter." Noah cut her off and she accepted the file knowing she had been caught.

"...And, it says that your job ends when I let you go," Noah added,

"I already told you I don't want to come. And, I am not lying about the headache. I think I couldn't get enough sleep," Sydney said making him narrow his eyes.

"You were sleeping fine," Listening to Noah complaining she hold his hand to let him feel how hot her face felt.

"See? I am heating up." Noah's whole body tightened as he gulped hard looking at her parted lips and big curious green eyes. She was indeed very hot. But no way it was a fever.

"I know what you are trying to do," Noah's accusing voice made Sydney's heart race.

"What I did?" Pissed that she won't stop trying on him he leaned closer.

Sydney looked at his lips anticipating the taste of his mouth and wondered if he tastes the same.

"You should leave,..." She took a few seconds to process what had happened.

She was still there looking up when Noah passed her leaving her embarrassed. "I need to leave," Sydney said before she got out of his office and ignored Claudia calling her. Getting out of the building she hailed a cab to her place.

A lone tear fell from her right eye to her cheek. It wasn't her Noah. He didn't love her anymore. She was no one to him. How she was supposed to live with him?

You will stay for your kids. Her inner voice told her. And, what if he found someone else. She asked herself but had no reply.

She got home and knew it was worth any pain in the world. The moment her kids hugged her she couldn't help but smile. She smiled but the weight on her chest didn't ease.

I don't want him. My kids are enough. She tried to tell herself.

She got busy with her kids until the lunchtime struck. Kids got a video call from Noah but she didn't look in the video no matter how close her kids roamed as she waited near the oven.

She looked at her kids eating and smiling. She knew it was enough. It should be. But only an image of another woman being called Mrs. Miller or mom by her kids was enough to disturb her all over again. And, not even this it was meant to cause a lot of complexities. She has to live away from Noah making her kids chose between their mom and dad.

You can't give up. No matter how hard it is. You can't let him fall for someone else. He is having a condition. Not you. And, you were the very reason he is suffering from amnesia. He was saving you.

"Mom, are you fine?" Sydney hears Amber's voice and smiled.

"Yea," Sydney tried to give her best smile.

The kids went to sleep and she waited for Noah sitting on the very same place in the dining room wearing the very same shirt she went to the office with pink pajamas. She was looking for amnesia conditions for the last many hours. The answers were uncertain. Conditions were different. Treatments and therapies were there but not promising. And, she wondered if she could ever ask Noah to opt for the treatment with the kind of understanding she had with him.

Maybe he was never in love with me. He only chose me because he wasn't thinking. I was never important to him.

She felt worse with each passing second and pour herself the expansive vine. She couldn't help but think about the kiss that they almost had. There was only one explanation. He didn't love her and will never love her...Or maybe he loves Kate now. She thought and got her eyes opened. He was nowhere so she poured herself another glass to lessen the knot in her throat.

Noah came around 11 in the night with his office jacket hanging over his shoulder. He was about to take the stairs when he noticed Sydney passed on the dining table. The half-empty bottle was the proof she was trying to lessen her pain. He got near to find research tabs on her laptop about Amnesia. Her beautiful face seemed to be drowned in sadness. He didn't mean to hurt her but he didn't want her to give what she wanted. It was too sudden and it won't make sense.

"Sydney,...Sydney,..." He shook her shoulder and she looked up to see Noah standing beside her.

"Can you walk? How much you have taken?" She hated his voice drumming in her ears.

"Go away!" She slapped his hands away from her shoulder and closed her eyes again.

"Sydney, Sydney,...it's very cold outside,"

Sydney opened her eyes to look at his annoyed face. He doesn't want to be here. He is only here because I am the mother of his kids.

"Only you are cold here," She mumbled but he collected her words perfectly.

"Sydney?... I am asking you the last time."

"No, I will ask you," She opened her eyes to look right into his eyes. His tie was loose while he had his jacket rested on his shoulder.

"Why you won't kiss me?" She slurred,

"Excuse me?" Noah asked with his brows raised.

"I asked,...why you didn't kiss me." Sydney pulled his tie to make him lean down.

"Because I didn't want to," The anger on Sydney's face got vanished listening to this. She was shocked. Hurt,...

"Then stop,..." A tear escaped her eye. "...getting into my personal space because if you did,..." She stared at his lips and leaned to kiss them softly but briefly before pulling away and adding, "...I will eat you. And, I will bury your remains because...oh my god, Noah, you taste just as old times." Saying this she leaned to suck and pull his upper lip and this time Noah couldn't stay unaffected. He so wanted to taste her too. It was only fair that he knows how she tastes too.

His jacket dropped from his shoulder as he holds her face to deepen the kiss. And, the moment their tongues mingled his hands trailed down to her chest. Letting his hand feel her curves he went down to hold her waist as he towered her down. She had to catch his collar to balance her.

"Are you sure about it?" Noah asked pulling away,

Sydney had her hands over his cheeks when she briefly looked at his scar before trailing her finger over it and leaned to kiss him again.

The bedroom door opened to reveal Noah with Sydney's legs secured around his waist as she kissed him. Noah didn't switch on the lights and seemed to be more impatient to get his hands in her shirt to feel her skin. A skin that was so soft that he couldn't help but dig his fingers in her waist and made her gasp. Her cry made his body tighten even more.

Placing her on the bed he took seconds to get out of his shirt and drop his pants on the floor while Sydney only managed to get away with her shirt. He came down to kiss her all the while pulling her pajama's down. He could smell her heat and it made him even more impatient.

The moment he rubbed his erected length still wrapped inside his boxers on her panties he recalled how hard this whole year for him was. Losing years, Sarah, sight, and connecting to kids. He had forgotten about how much he needed to get himself off. And, today a wife had appeared magically. Without him doing anything. He was not sure if he could ever love her but she was hot and unearthly beautiful.

If everyone was saying he used to be whipped by her the chances were huge for this thing to be true. He knew he didn't love her yet but was ready to give her what she deserved. Her little soft moans made him even tighter and when he knew they were ready he got rid of his boxers. Setting aside her panties he let himself buried and groaned when she wrapped her legs around his thighs.

"Noah!" She gasped when she felt him entering her. A tear escaped her eye that darkness in the room helped her hide. She was finally home. After almost five long years her fire of despair was quenched.

Her body sucked him so deep that he knew he belonged here. If there were any doubts about this decision being wrong they took a leave from his thoughts.

She let her hands wander in his hair when he leaned closer to her mouth.

"Ah, Ah, Ahhh,..." Her angelic voice became the perfect music of the room when he kept on claiming her before making her lost her sense of existence.

He let his face buried in her neck before letting their most intimate parts to negotiate only.

His pace quickened making her tits shook violently as if asking for his attention. And the moment he took her left nipple in his mouth she came hard crying out his name.

She lost her sense of time. But when she got it back he was still taking her and pinning her to his bed. She let her hands roam on his sweaty back.

"I am,..." She knew what was following and hugged him hard to ease him out of the question.

He let himself go deep inside her. She gasped at the sensation of him getting deeper and coming to still before shooting her insides. She arched her body and took all of him. Filled with his load she hugged him hard.

"You are so perfect," He whispered in her ear and she smiled before kissing his scarred temple. She regrets not being around him when he needed her but she promised herself to be here for him now.

"I,...There is nothing wrong with you. I was trying to take things slow." He admitted,

"We can still take things slowly but,...we don't need to avoid sex for that. I,...I can't let you go to the office everyday unsatisfied and risk someone else getting into our lives. I,...I am scared, Noah. I can't lose you," She said letting her hand wander over the small curls on his chest.

"I,...I had a great time and right now I am too tired to sort out things,..." Sydney's heart drop listening to this.

"...Do you trust me?" Noah asked,

"Hmm," She hummed with a half heart.

"We are married. And, I will respect this bond. So, stop worrying about anyone coming between us." Noah said and this made Sydney slip her hand over his abs before hugging him tightly.

"Thank you," She said kissing his chest and slept her worries away.

Sydney woke up with her back to a warm solid chest and a leg wrapped over her body. She could feel his morning hardness throbbing wildly along her rear.

She turned her face to look at him fast asleep. He groaned in his sleep when she squirmed against his body. The room was lightened with the sunlight peeking through the heavy drapes.

She pulled the covers from their shoulders to over their heads. "Hey," She woke him up.

He didn't wake up but hugged her body. "Wake up, kids must be up."

Her delicate figure and his morning hardness were quick to kick in because next, she felt him placing his length between her thighs.

"Noah," She whispered but he was quick to cut her off, "...stay!"

Her breathing went deeper when she felt his hands roaming over her thigh. "Let me go, Noah. I need to,..." She trailed off when lifting her leg he started entering her.

"I will be quick," Noah said and she only nodded. Under their blanket, he mounted her all the while sucking her neck hard.

"Fuck, you are so soft. So, soft and young." Noah said making Sydney's eyes go wide in surprise. It was the same thing he used to say her a lot. Was he getting his memories back? She thought but gasped with his urgent movements and let her nails get deeper in his skin. This time Noah took the liberty to come inside her without asking.

"Told you I will be quick." He said getting off her.

"Go take a bath. I will set you a breakfast." She said kissing his shoulder.

"Won't you take a bath before?" He asked,

"Of course, I will. I will use another bathroom." Sydney said casually.

"Or we can take a bath together?" Noah offered,

"And, let you miss your office timings and chance to dine with our kids in the morning." She tried to make him understand.

"Promise me, you won't drink tonight and pass on me early," Noah said making Sydney smile.

"I promise you my every night. Noah, now, go,..." She whispered,

Getting out of his blanket Noah stretched his body while Sydney got out securing her hair in a bun. She got out of the bed and was stretching when she smiled seeing Noah still standing there.

But the moment she finds his expression hard she asked, "What happened?"

"What the hell is wrong with your body? Who did it?" She was quick to pull the covers to her body the moment she registered the disgust mixed with pity in Noah's eyes.

"I...I am sorry," She whispered before running out of his room to her previous room.

He is not my Noah. He is not,...He can never be,...She cried thinking how blind she was to never look past him.
