In the dark, a soul was slowly moving towards the light. It was an endless journey which the soul experiences and it could sigh in relief at finally arriving at its destination. It walked into the light and basked into its intoxicating power shining over him. A shadow then formed in front of him. The soul looked up only to find a pair of red eyes with one tomoe each. The eyes dilated and a voice echoed in the void.

"Gain power."

Simple words but those words were carved into the soul. The soul then slowly formed into a female body. The voice repeated again and again. But at last, the final sentence changed.

"Gain power. At all cost. No matter what." The eyes slowly disappeared as the eyes slowly began changing. It originally had 1 tomoe but then it changed into 2, then 3. Then the pattern completely changed as a new form was made. The form was complicated and indescribable. But then the eyes changed once more as the already intricate form became even more complex.

Finally, the eyes changed one last time. The eyes became completely different as the eyes began being purple with layers of circles surrounding it with a couple of tomoe visible.

Her vision slowly changed but she didn't move and simply accepted the change. The scenery changed and she was suddenly in the middle of the city. People walking everywhere and shops opened with people flocking to them.

The being remembered everything it went through and who it was now. Before it had to walk to an incalculable amount of time to finally reach that light. It could only vaguely remember who it was in its past life. It could only remember that it was a girl living in a different society than she is currently in.

But now, it was a boy and it had full access to this boy's memories. His name was Faith Alistair. He had white hair and was only 14 years old. A weird last name but it was an old family name. This boy was an orphan. No he was a homeless man. Not even a man. His parents were killed by some bandits. He could still remember that day vividly. No matter how much he wants to forget it.

His parents were killed because of one reason. Racism against the Faunus people. He was a Faunus but unlike his parents he could hide the fact that he was one. His parents had scales that were permanently on them at all times. But he was able to hide his scales. And unlike his parents scales which were red and green. His was a blue, green and purple. It caused a lot of attention so he hid it.

He then looked in front of him. He finally remembered why he was here. A school was right in front of him and at the side it said 'Signal Academy'. 'Signal Academy, a school to train huntsman and huntresses. I remember now. I want to be a huntsman.'

Faith then took out something from his backpack. His schedule for his school.

—————————

It's been two months since school started. Faith didn't really make friends. They were more known as acquaintances. But he was known in school for stopping bullies and beating them. He did stop bullies but he only did it to protect those kids. They were Faunus like him. Maybe it was his trauma with his parents but he swore to stop racism even if violence was necessary.

In the end, most kids avoided him but the ones who stayed with him were those who were bullied. They were weak and always sought out protection. He didn't bother helping them. Why should he. If you don't have the balls to achieve your dream then you should change it and do something else.

And he wanted to do just that, achieve his dream of becoming the most powerful huntsman. As a kid, he always wanted to become a huntsman but that voice changed something in him. Why should he only settle to become a huntsman when he can become the most powerful one.

He soon realized something after starting school. He awakened a power. But this power wasn't his semblance. He didn't know why but he had a gut feeling that this power was something else. When he focused his power around his eyes, it would turned red and black. When this power was activated, these eyes become hyper-focused and his perception of time is slowed down. The weird thing is it didn't consume his aura.

Aura was the manifestation of the power of ones soul but he felt this energy was foreign yet inside him. It was the gift from the eyes that reincarnated him.

Due to this, he decided to wear a kind of mask that covers his eyes so that no one could see his power. The mask looked like that of the white fang but was instead more black and red then white. He also decided to name this power Sharingan. He didn't know why but he had a feeling that this was its true name.

3 years later.

An old man walked on the stage with a mic placed in front of him and began speaking. "Today I congratulate everyone for graduating huntsman and huntresses class. This will only be the first step to being a true Huntsman. I hope all of you will be able to go through all of the hardships that comes along the way. Congratulations to all of you!"

Every student there cheered with joy and stayed in the party but a lone figure quietly left without making a sound. Faith left the scene and got out of school. A lone woman waited for him. She wore mature clothes fit for a teacher with a purple cape. On her hand was wand indicating that was her weapon.

"You're finally here. Let's get going." She began walking away and Faith followed her. Her name was Glynda Goodwitch. She's a powerful Huntress and a teacher at Beacon Academy. One of the four schools in Remnant for Huntsman. They were prestigious for their teaching for Huntsman.

They soon arrived at an airport of sorts and took a ship to go towards Beacon. "So Glynda, how have you been all this time?"

"I've been doing well and it seems you're as well."

Faith shrugged his shoulders. "Well school is kind of boring as you can tell. By the way, can you start speaking more casually with me. I mean we've known each other for like 2 years."

She then glared at him. She looked like she had just been offended by the worst insult possible. "Alright, I won't ask you to." They then embarked at an airship and went to Beacon Tower and went to the top floor.

The door opened to reveal a desk and a man writing on papers. A man with white hair and peculiar glasses greeted him. "Welcome Mr. Alistair, how have you been?"

"I've been doing well Professor Ozpin. It's been half a year hasn't it." He walked towards a couch and sat down.

"Yes it has. I called you because I wanted to remind you to pack up your things and go to Beacon in one-week time."

"And?" Faith frowned a bit.

Ozpin's lips curved a bit. "I want you to stop your criminal actions." Faith then glared at Ozpin and a silent pressure arose from the room. Glynda who was behind them prepared for battle. Ozpin calmly gestured for her to calm down.

Faith slammed his hands down Ozpin's desk. "Criminal actions?! And yet I'm saving all those people from being harmed. You may not see it as you're a human but I don't betray my people." His fury was burst out.

"Yes. You are right, you saved those people from harm." Ozpin stood up and looked out of the window. "But you also risked their safety. You could have helped them in a safer way but you rashly ran forward. You did make a plan and it worked but you didn't account to a lot of things. That's why I want you to go to Beacon. So that we can help you grow stronger, not only by strength but also by using intelligence."

Faith could only lower his head in shame. He wanted to refute but he had been rash. He could still remember how shameful his actions were.
