2 Chapter 2: Reincarnation?

[Kaede POV]

"So I really died huh..." I muttered as tears began to form in my eyes.

"It's okay, everything will be alright," God said with a soft tone.

"HOW CAN EVERYTHING BE ALRIGHT??!!! I screamed.

I realized what I'd done; I quickly bowed and said: " I apologise for my inappropriate behaviour." as my tears dirtied the grand white floor.

God just smiled. He stood up and walked towards me.

My body suddenly felt warm as God hugged me and gently patted my back.

"It's okay. Just let it all out." He said with a caring tone while continuing to pat me.

I finally can't hold it in anymore and sob. I don't know how long I've been crying, but I estimated that one hour has passed before I finally calmed down.

I looked at God who was still patiently watching me with a kind smile on his face, and I looked at his robe; it was covered with tears and snot. I blushed before quickly becoming embarrassed and staring at the floor in shame. Seeing this, God chuckled before snapping his finger, and his clothes instantly became clean again.

"All better?" He asked, and I slowly nodded. He hummed satisfyingly and went back to his seat.

Silence once filled the room, and after a while, I finally broke the silence. "What.... what will happen to me now?" I asked, anxious about my future.

God once again smiled and said: "Kaede, you have been a very good person. You didn't hesitate to help people in need, and you always put others first before yourself. You're a very rare case as your soul is very pure. You're not the first person to show up here, and you won't be the last." He paused and looked me in the eye before saying: "What happens now is that you will be reincarnated."

He stopped talking and waited for my reaction.

'Reincarnate, like those isekai animes??' I thought.

"Yes, exactly like those isekai animes, you can choose any world you wish for." He read my thoughts and said.

Realizing that God can read my thoughts all this time, my face reddened like a tomato.

"Heh heh, don't be embarrassed, you will be surprised at how many people think of the same thing as you," God stated while laughing.

Hearing this, I felt my face become even redder. Finally, I calmed myself down and asked: "Even worlds from anime?"

God just nodded and responded: "I will also give you wishes based on the good deeds you've done in your life. For example, people who do bad deeds get no wish and will be immediately sent to the reincarnation cycle or sent to purgatory, and people who did average in life only get one wish. However, judging on what you have done, you will get five wishes."

God saw that I still wasn't saying anything, just grinned at me and said: "Don't worry, you can take as much time as you need. You can wish for anything."

I nodded and started thinking.

Kaede: "Okay, I'm ready to state my five wishes now..."
