They needed to succeed in their endeavor, not just for themselves but for the countless lives that depended on them across the universe. Rex turned back to his work, determined to contribute to the team's success in any way he could.

Inside the locked chamber, Rex, Ruvella, and Cris grew bored. Ruvella tried to flirt with Cris. Meanwhile, Rex chatted in Civarat Central Chat.

Suddenly, they received an urgent system notification popped up everyone's head: "Emergency Task: Escape the Room - Reward: Restaurant Access, New ID, Body Shifting Pill."

Cris, Ruvella, and Rex couldn't hide their alarm. They wondered why they received this sudden mission. Cris began to piece together the puzzle, and his face turned pale as he realized the gravity of their situation.

Under normal circumstances, it would have taken at most two hours to obtain a clear pass, and they would have waited in a waiting room. Instead, they were locked in this room with armed guards. The tense aura around them indicated a high-level alert.

Cris approached the window, leaning against the wall, and took out his Civarat mobile, a recent invention he had acquired with his hard-earned points from working in the mine. There was a reason Civarat had taken control of that particular area on Earth. Inside Civarat, humans and other races were treated as miners and factory workers.

Back to the current situation on Venturia, Cris was amazed by the mobile's zoom function. It could even capture clear pictures of outer space. He opened the camera app to get a better view of what was happening outside. Slowly, his face became even paler as he saw snipers positioned on every rooftop and artillery aimed at the apartment. The situation was dire.

Upon seeing Cris's face, Rex and Ruvella immediately fell silent. They had been working alongside Cris for over two months now and were well aware of his tactical brilliance. In Civarat, where they aimed to increase their strength, they faced mutated beasts that were once ordinary animals subjected to magical experiments by the higher-ups.

These creatures had become formidable opponents, and at times, even other races felt helpless. Some suspected that the higher-ups were trying to eliminate them. However, it was later revealed that killing these animals was a way to become stronger.

As a result, Civarat established a guild system and introduced a team system to hunt these creatures and gain power. Among the accomplished tacticians, five individuals earned the title of "Great Tactician." They were Xaden, Maxxes (a necromancer), Vkie (a Dragon), Vres (a member of the shadow race), and, finally, Cris.

When Rex and Ruvella saw the seriousness on Cris's face, they began preparing themselves for a potentially dangerous situation. They knew that if Cris was concerned, there had to be a good reason for it, and they trusted his judgment.

Outside the apartment in the spaceport, military personnel were on high alert, their faces tense with anticipation. The atmosphere was charged with nervous energy as soldiers moved swiftly and communicated in hushed tones. They knew they were part of a critical operation, but many were uncertain about the specifics of their mission.

Sergeant Miller, a grizzled veteran with years of service under his belt, scratched his head in confusion. He looked at his fellow soldiers, who were all geared up and ready for action.

"Does anyone actually know what the hell we're doing here?" he muttered to the soldier next to him, Private Jenkins.

Jenkins shook his head, his helmet slightly askew. "Nah, Sarge. All they told us was to secure this apartment, but I have no idea why."

Sergeant Miller frowned and glanced around the room. Other soldiers were just as baffled. They all wore the same puzzled expressions, exchanging curious glances with their comrades.

A young soldier named Corporal Ramirez piped up from the corner. "I heard a rumor that there might be some high-value targets in this apartment. Maybe we're here to apprehend them."

Sergeant Miller scoffed. "Rumors, Ramirez? We should be getting clear orders, not relying on rumors."

Just then, Lieutenant Anderson, their commanding officer, entered the room. He looked stern and purposeful, radiating an air of authority.

"Listen up, everyone," he began. "I know many of you are wondering why we're here. Our mission is classified, but I can assure you it's of utmost importance. We've been ordered to secure this apartment and await further instructions."

A murmur of acknowledgment rippled through the room as the soldiers accepted their orders. They may not have known the full details, but they trusted in their chain of command.

Meanwhile, on the rooftop of a nearby building, a team of snipers lay prone, their high-powered rifles trained on the apartment. Corporal Baker, the team leader, peered through the scope of his rifle. He watched as the soldiers on the ground went about their business, seemingly unaware of the snipers' presence.

"I still don't get it," whispered Private Martinez, one of the snipers. "Why are we targeting this apartment? There's something fishy about this whole operation."

Corporal Baker nodded in agreement. "You're right, Martinez. I've been in the service for a long time, and I've never seen a mission like this. But orders are orders, and we follow them."

Back inside the apartment, the tension continued to build. Soldiers stood at the ready, their weapons trained on the door, waiting for whatever or whoever might come through it.

Lieutenant Anderson received a message on his headset and frowned as he listened to it. He then addressed the room once more. "We've just received new orders. Prepare for a possible breach. Stay sharp, everyone."

The soldiers tightened their grips on their weapons, their hearts racing. They had trained for scenarios like this, but the uncertainty surrounding their mission had them on edge.

As the minutes ticked by, the soldiers' anxiety grew. Outside, the snipers remained vigilant, scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. The tension in the air was palpabl
