24 Undercover

The Next Day, 8:00 AM,

Dante woke up and went to talk with Cole and Spoon to help him get to the Central District undercover.

Cole: "So, Dante. What did you want to talk with us about?"

Dante: "I'll get straight to the point, I need Spoon Help."

Spoon: "Help? With what?"

Dante: "I need to go to the central district without getting noticed."

Cole: "We've already discussed this."

Dante: "I know, and I promise you I'm not going there to look for the Reapers."

Cole: "Then for what?"

Dante: "I need to check on someone, her name is Sayomi. She's Shinji's girlfriend or used to be, and I need to make sure she's safe. Look, Cole, They saved my life and gave me home when I had nothing in high city. I need to do this. Please."

Cole calls for both Jaden and Ayano.

Jaden: "Why did you call for me? I was training."

Ayano: "Me too."

Cole: "You're going on a mission"

Jaden: "What kind of mission?"

Cole: "You're going to help Dante meet someone in the central district."

Jaden: "Huh? I'm not his bodyguard. Why do I need to help him?"

Dante: "I don't need your protection, you can stay if you want."

Jaden: "He doesn't need our help. Come Ayano, let's go back."

Ayano: "I'll go with him."

Jaden: "WHAT?"

Ayano: "I know why he wants to go to the central district and I want to help him."

Dante: "Thank you Ayano."

Dante and his squad wore undercover clothes and masks before heading out to the central district

It started raining on the way, but after 2 hours of driving they arrived at Shinji's base.

Time, 12:08 AM, Raining,

Dante:" We are close to Shinji's base. Stop here, We'll go on foot."

Jaden: "Are you nuts? it's raining like crazy outside, we'll get wet."

Dante: "You can stay if you're afraid of getting wet."

Jaden: "I'm not afraid of getting wet."

Ayano: "I don't mind the rain. I think it's going to help hide our cover better."

Dante: "Let's stop wasting time and go already."

Jaden: "Maybe Sayomi Ratted him out."

Dante: "Impossible! Sayomi would never do that."

Dante: "What is it? What did you find Ayano?"

Ayano point's at a phone with a message written on a paper.

Dante: "Huh? That's weird, Who would leave a phone here? "Dante picks up the paper.""

Jaden: "What does it say?"

Dante: "It's a message for me. It says, Dante, I've left a voice message for you on the phone."

Jaden: "That's creepy. Open the phone and let's hear what they want."

Ayano: "Wait, what if it's a trap?"

Dante: "Well, we're about to find out." Dante pressed play.

"I'm gonna get straight to the point. This is detective Hina speaking, I work for the defense force and I specialize in ki users cases. Listen, Dante. Ayano:" Dante, are you alright?"

Jaden:" I didn't know it was this serious.'

Dante: "DAMMIT!" Throws phone at the wall.

Jaden: "We can't stay here. They might be on their way right now. we have to leave."

Dante: "We have to find and save Sayomi. We can't leave her."

Jaden: "And how the fuck are we going to do that? We don't even know where she is. As far as we know, she might be working with them."

Ayano: "Jaden is right. We need to leave."

Suddenly, eyes started glowing in the dark. tons of Anti-ki androids appeared and surrounded Dante, Jaden, and Ayano.

Ayano: "What is going on?"

Jaden: "Tchh, Looks like we fell for their trap. I knew this was a bad idea."

Dante: "It's too late now, get ready to fight."
