1964 Winter Ball

A knock on my door snapped me out of my slumber. "Miss Tessa is time to get dressed for your coming-out party. Your brother is waiting." One of the maids called out and knowing that I wasn't Tessa my mouth couldn't help but answer anyway. "Thank you, Chris ill be down in an hour." I heard his footsteps sound fade down the hallway.

My body moved on its own as I got up to do my daily routes as I got ready for the ball. "Pay attention Kira, Everyone you meet will be against you. But the man that stands out will kill you. You mustn't change the past." Tessa's voice rings in my head as I wash my face. My hair was dark purple, green, and black. My mocha chocolate skin glows brightly as my eyes bring fright. They were black in red. Tonight during the winter ball, It's a ball for me and my fiance. A person i met a couple of times and trust me if i had it my way. This marriage will never happen, I wish it was my mate but I haven't met him. Some days i would think he was dead, somedays I would think he was a phase and i was never meant to have someone love me. My name is Tessa Michealson and Yes, you guessed it, Im princess of the under and my brother is the king. King Hades to be exact. Ok let's get into it, My mother is the king rightful sister but when my mother died. Instead of claiming me as his niece, He calls me his sister. But something tells me is some wrong about that truth and tonight I was going to figure it out.

i put on my black victorian dress with a lace pattern sequence. I had a black hoodie cape on to go with it, as my hair fell to my back. I top it off with some black lipstick and eyeshadow and I was off to the ball.

"Miss Tessa may i come in." A little sweet voice called from the other side of the door.

"Yes, Jessica you may." Jess, i heard my mind say as a teenage Jess walks in. Jess's dress looks like cinderella did in the movie. She flows beautifully in the dress as she made it know that was her favorite movie of all time.

"I see you watched the Cinderella movie the humans created." I smiled as i finish getting dress.

"Yes, well i am half demon half-fairy after all so it was bond for me to be sweet and evil at the same time." We laugh at her joke as she sat on the bed. "The bad man is here and i heard you are to be married to him." I looked at her sad "I don't like it either. I want you to marry Jace. He's been in love with you since yall met at the royal meeting ball. You yall were six years old and never left each other side. As mom tells me." Jess laughed and smile

"Yes that i true we have been insertable and i can't imagine life without him. But i must uphold my duties and marry a man i have no interest in loving at all. I know Lucien is bad i saw his future the day i met him. When brother first brought him here i saw the destruction in his eyes and i also saw my death." I tell Jess everything because she was my best friend and only friend. She's also Jace's stepsister.

"Then you must tell my brother and stay away from Lucien." I nod and agree with her. "Come you look beautiful let's get going." I nod as i stood up and grab my purse. Looked at me in the mirror one last time. "Yes beautiful let's go. I heard Jace just arrived and he's looking for you."

I walked out of my bedroom door as the maid closed it behind me, Me and jess smile as we made out way to the ballroom. As I approach the ballroom my brother wave for me to come.

"Go, ill go look for the food. Catch you at the table next to the door." I nod and asked her to save a seat next to her as I smile and headed towards my brother. Next to him was a tall gentleman with blonde hair and blue eyes, Im not going to lie when I tell you he was dreamy. He was built with muscles in all the right places. And a killer smile but one thing i knew about him was that he was Evil, My fiance Lucien. I approach them and bow to my brother and then to Lucien.

"Yes brother, you summoned me," I said as I look back into my brother's eyes. He smiles with so much happiness to be a demon.

"Yes, My dear sister Tessa. I wanted to see if you will want to go public about you marrying Lucien." Hades asked with a smile.

"Brother, I don't think that's a good idea. I'm not ready to declare myself and i never agree to this marriage. So no im not making things public. I told you about my vision brother, Yet you still want me to marry him." I looked at Hades as he had a sad expression on his face.

"Come with me," Hade asked, "Excuse me Lucien for I need to speak with my sister on important matters." Lucien nod as we made our way towards the throne. We sat down and he looked at his people and smile. "Tessa i know about your vision and as king, we need to think about your future and the royal bloodline," Hades said as he looked at me with black and red eyes.

"I understand uncle...i mean brother. But I can't marry him. He's not my mate." I said sadly as I saw Jess talking to one of the princes from realm five. "You told me if I find my mate, I wouldn't have to marry him," I said

"Well do you know who your mate is?" He said watching the guest as we sat on the throne.

"I have a guest but I wanted to be sure, How can I when you keep throwing the guy will end up killing me one day," I said as I took my eyes from the crowd to my uncle. "What is the real reason you want me to marry him?"

"We have no choice. I as king is being challenged, He will take try to take the crown if you don't marry him." Hades said

"So I'm your peace offering. I'm your blood and my word should mean something." I looked at my brother or should I say uncle with so much hate. "You will be the death of me and you know it. Selling me as if I'm a whore, Im your niece and you should treat me as so. I shouldn't have to marry i just met, I DON'T EVEN LOVE HIM." I yelled

"Keep your voice down." He looked at the guest and smile at them as he waves off any confusion.

"You are my family and I love you. Yes, you are my niece but I declared you as my sister so you have the right to be a princess. I wanted you to have a title." he looked at me with a serious look. a look. "Marrying him means no one has to die, You will keep your title, I stay king and he won't kill you or worse take you from me. Your the only family I have. I don't want to lose you." I looked at him and touched his hand.

"I understand that but If I marry him, I'll die from the hatred I saw it." I got up to walk away. My brother calls for me but I never answer as tears ran down my face. I passed by Lucien without a glance as i walked out of the ballroom straight towards the garden. by

*Issac P.O.V*

I jumped up from the hospital bed, confused as to what in the hell happened. I remember me and Kira on a date, I remember a black shadow following us. We got back to the castle. trying to remember is getting to me. I put my hands over my head, Pulling at my hair trying to remember what happened. The open to my room and i looked up to see a crying Jess.

"What's wrong?" I asked but she didn't say. "Gosh dang it Jess what wrong. Where's Monica?" I asked, "Where Scott?" She sat in the chair next to my bed then look me into the eyes.

"During my labor, Lucien came after you and Kira. Well, you changed into someone i never knew before, He was dark but he tried to protect everyone. But Lucien had you by the neck, Kira see." Jess pause but gotten up to show me herself. "She did something extraordinary, Her past lives came together with the elements they died by. They stop Lucien from killing you." Jess said and I looked at her in shock.

"Her past lives." I sat up "She beginning to awaken." I look at Jess "She's in transition, She has five days to collect her self and remember. Within five days she must learn the truth." She looks at me.

"The truth," Jess said as Monica bust inside of the hospital wing.

"My memories, They are coming back as if I'm reliving it." she holds her head as if she was having none stop mind grains. "What's going on?" I rush to Monica and help her into the bed next to Kira.

"You're Kira missing key in one of her lives. You will soon go through the process with her." I stood up and look at both Jess and Monica. "Each of us has a piece of her within her soul. Jess your her sister in law, Your truth lies within it. Monica is her younger sister, and I fell in love with her five times and counting." I said looking at the girls

"How come your memories haven't come up." She asked but she doesn't know my memories came in when I gave her parts of my soul. "You get them to that's why you smoke the way you do." I look at Monica and nod my head.

"I been getting my memories when found out she was my mate. I purposely stayed away from her until her mother seeks help. When she told me about her father I knew she was reincarnated again and I knew Jace will recognize her." A flashback hits my mind when Tessa walks past me. She looked beautiful as she glows through the night. I blink my eyes and I'm back.

"Hey, are you alright?" Jess asked and Monica moans in pain.

"Jess, Don't worry about me i need you to stay with Monica. Everyone is about to get their memories." I get up to head out of the hospital room.

"Wait what do you mean." Jess got up and look at me. "Sit and explain." I pace back and forth as i contemplate is i should say anything or not. I looked at her feeling nervous because Jess can get scary.

"Ok, it started with Tessa Michealson. I met her in 1963 on the winter's ball in at the under. Her brother has haded himself. But what Tessa doesn't know is he's really her father. He took her mother in and claim her as his sister because she wasn't royalty. The public wasn't going to allow him to marry a human. So in secret, they messed around but in public, they were nothing but servants to the public. She had to uphold the right to be a lady. And Tessa is nothing like her mother. Oh no, one thing Tessa wasn't was a lady she took up after her father i can tell you that." I laughed a little and sat next to Jess. "I fell in love the moment she walked past me."

*Tessa P.O.V*

Walking to the garden gates and felt so relieved that i wasn't in the public's eye. The Public is the demon society. The biggest group in demon history and guess who's the king of them. You guested my brother Hades. He's a demon God and own's all of the Demon realms. Theirs 12 realms in the demon world to be exact, But that a story for another time. I walked to the Wishing Fountain and stare at myself in the water as i sat down wishing to be normal for a day. Oh how i love to be human, I use to watch them on my rounds to catch the lost souls. They live so carefree and no rules.

"I love to be human one day," I said as i look at my reflection in the water. A chocolate woman who just wants to be normal, or even see by her uncle. To be heard for once.

"Now why would you want that, Humans are a downgrade. They live off hatred and sex to call themselves normal." Jace said.

"And we don't. At least they are honest about it. Where they live so carefree without rules." I said as i kept looking into the Fountain as it shows my true desires.

"Yeah the rules that you tend to break, If it wasn't for your brother being King you will be in serious trouble." Jace laughs and i roll my eyes.

"Uncle Hades is not my brother. He's was my mother's brother but he's my uncle so i refuse to call him that." I said and cross my arms. "I'm not my mother."

"Yes but you look so much like her." Jace looked at me as if i was the most beautiful thing on this earth. But let's say it was weird that he's smitten with me after talking about my mom. I giggle a little because i felt his heartbeat rise, I knew he was trying too hard. It's kinda cute.

"Ummm." i clear my throat. "How is your winter day going in Hell?" He laughed and so did I. His laugh was amazing and it's one thing i loved about him. Jace and I knew each other since we were kids. We were best friends, stuck like glue, never left each other side. I never got this nervous in front of him in my life, so why now.

"Well since we are literally in Hell, It's been a breeze." He giggled "So can i ask you a question?" I nod for him to continue. "Tessa, I have known you since we were kids running away from your brother because of the trouble we created," Jace said as he holds on to my hand.

"uncle," i persisted

"Right Uncle, But before i freak out I wanted to ask you have your feelings started to change in a way for me." He looked into my soul and i felt my heart skip a beat.

"What are you talking about Jace?" I giggle again

"I mean when I turn eighteen and you just turn eighteen my feelings started to change for you. I see you as mines now. No one else. I also feel like theirs no one i rather be with than you. I'm in love with you and..." He paused for a while and my heart was breaking.

"Jace, We already talk about it." He stops me and slides closer to me.

"Yes, but Tessa I confirmed tonight that you are my mate," Jace said to me and i knew he told me the truth. But in my heart, my uncle wasn't going to want us together.

"Jace, I knew you were my mate the moment i met you, But my uncle won't let us be together. He got this idea of me marrying Prince Lucien. " I said sadly and scared of what he will say.

"You saw us together didn't you." He looked at me with so much love.

"Yes, Jace focus. The night i touched you. Yes, I saw us together but our lives turn to death by Lucien." I felt fear creep up on me. " I told my brother my vision but he didn't listen But then i got a second vision when i touched him. I was married to him and he killed me by his hand. I told my brother and yet he still wants me to marry him." I said to Jace squeezing his hands pleading for him to understand.

"YOU ARE MINES! i'm NOT GOING TO LET YOU MARRY HIM!" Jace yelled but i tried to keep him quiet. "ill talk to your brother, I'm a prince as well." Jace said loudly.

*Issac P.O.V.*

"I wanted her to mines but King Hades wanted her to be promised to Lucien. But i couldn't have that." I stood up and walk to the window. "Lucien heard us talking. He came from the darkness so mad, so angry to the point he wanted to kill her." The memories of the curse hit me hard.

*Flashback*

"You have to keep quiet Jace, I know how you feel trust me i don't want to marry him," Tessa said as her black hair flow through the night sky and the moon shines bright as the stars twinkle upon her mocha chocolate skin. The red and purple tips in her hair look amazing, Her red and purple eyes shine in the moonlight. I'm happy that fate brought us together.

"Yes Jace keeps it down, You don't want the king to hear." Lucien came from the darkness.

"You added blue," I asked

"Yes, I had another dream about a girl." She begins to talk but was interrupted by Lucien.

"Good Evening Princess Tessa and Prince Jace. What a beautiful night it is?"

"Prince Lucien," I said pushing Tessa behind me

"Prince Jace, How wonderful it is that my bride is your mate," Lucien said in a hint of anger.

The look on Tessa's face had me worry, The vision she told me, In her eye's let me know that it was coming true. You see Tessa can see the future and when she's in a vision state her eyes turn golden as the sun.

"Brother, Listen." Tessa looked at me with confusion. "She is mining and i will not let you have her. She is my mate and i will protect her from you." Tessa kept her eyes on me and i can tell she is pissed off because i didn't tell her about Lucien.

"Excuse me I don't need saving i can save myself. Lucien is your brother and all these years you never thought about telling me." Tessa said with tears in her eyes. "And you Lucien im not your bride, I never told my brother i will marry you and for the looks of it, that won't happen. I know the real you remember. I can see your future and the person you really are. And you are evil." Tessa stood beside me and grabbing my hand. "Once i tell my brother about my mate our wedding will be off." She pulls me with her as we begin walking back to the castle doors.

"Stop Princess Tessa, You are meant to be mine." Lucien holds so much anger in his eyes. "You are meant to please me at my will. Tessa, you were promised to me since you were born. " Lucien steps closer to us, Tessa grip my hands harder as she looked at Lucien with fear. That one thing i have never seen her with fear before and it shook me for seeing her like that but i never showed it.

"Step back Lucien she doesn't belong to you." I step in front of her protecting her, At that moment i would have died for her, Without hesitation. "She's my mate and i won't let her go!" Lucien laughed and it made my flesh crawl.

"If I can't have her no one can," Lucien lift himself into the air and pulled Tessa and I right along with him. "On this day of the winter's ball, i curse you both of a lifetime of love but with a twist of you watching each other death by my hand. Each life you live i will take them when the moment you fall for each other the most." He lifts his hand and threw Tessa on the ground. Tessa hasn't fully awakened yet and he didn't care. He threw a fireball at her until she burns and cried for help. Tessa's body lay there to burn to a crisp. She screamed for me and i couldn't help her. Then after she died, I felt tears fall from my face as he cracked my neck sending me to my death as well.

*End Flashback*

Jess wipes her tears as she looks at the sleeping shell of Kiara's body peacefully laying on the bed. Her Mocha chocolate skin looked so pale but a little color came to her as the fiery red glow covered her body. I stood up when i saw her breathing and i knew day one was over now it's a day too. She uncovered a truth she never knew, She now knows Jace brother is Lucien.

"Jace and Lucien are my brothers." Jess looked

"Yes, He's a brother you never knew and you and Tessa were best friends," I said and she stood up and look at me.

"I remember now," Jess cried

*Kira P.O.V*

I felt her die, I felt the bones in her body as they broke from the hard fall. I felt the fire burn her skin as i cried out for anyone to help. I felt the curse within those flames. "Tessa, I'm so sorry you died that way. He cursed you for loving your mate." Tessa's spirit glows red like fire flames. She smiles with a sad face but looks at me with confidence.

"I died yes by the element of fire for my spirit felt the rage of being killed for loving his brother. Jace and Lucien are brothers and forever there spirit will be bind together by this curse. Lucien appeared in your life 5 times and each time killed you. When you finish these four tasks and find your way back, Give the evidence you learn to our father. You must save Jace, Now it's time for you to breathe." Tessa kiss me as her soul connect with mines, I drop to my knees as i felt the pain of the flames burn my veins. I felt the blood flow back into my veins and my lungs started to pump and i being to breathe and i felt so much at ease. "Don't be sad for my death be happy that I'm here and you help uncover a truth I been wanting to remember. Now I can the love I had for Jace continue threw you. Stay safe Kira." Tessa voice faded in my head.

"Tessa, It's good to have you back. I can breathe and feel your confidence again. I promise to avenge your death and take back your kingdom. We will be the first to rule over all realms. I promise that." I close my eyes just to see her smile. She was a blessing that the gods gave me and now it's time to learn about Kia.

"Now It's my turn, Hi my name is Kia Michealson and I'm an angel and I'm a demon. My mother fell for suppressing my demon said which had me killed before my awakening.
