9 Lakita Michealson

"Oh, Kira, it's finally my turn for you to see my tragic death." Lakita savvies her hips with so much elegance and lust. I knew instantly this was going to be an exciting journey. She stops in front of me and smiles a sarcastic smile.  "Oh love, you are in for a treat. This year, Lucien is the Lord of the above, one of the 12 realms in the demon world. My father, Hades, wanted me to find my mate when I have awoken my powers.  I became the Goddess of earth and hell, which is why my eyes are green and white. I control earth and air; I just decided to live with the other Gods and make my father proud. He wanted me to be like my mother, the goddess of love, but I will rather be my person." She looked at me with a curious look. "Tell me, Kira, will you do anything for love?" She waited for my answer.

"I'll do anything for the ones I love. Yes, If that is what you are asking?" Her lip curved up into a smile as she looked at me with curiosity.

"I guess that's the same but not what I meant." Lakita turns around slowly until she reaches my face again. "Will you do anything for love?" Lakita asked again but in a slow manner. I think about her questions. Each time I see myself give it all to love, I lose everything, and it kills me over and over. I know we are bound to each other, Jace and I but do I want to risk it this time for love.

"Lakita, we are the same, We all are, and each one of you risked it for love and lost something. Lucien needs to stop, so this time things will be different. I will regain my souls back, I will be the ruler of these realms, and I will make sure no one gets hurt because of him again. Lakita, I answer your questions correctly. I will only risk my life for the ones I love because when I need them the most, they will do it for me. They showed that multiple times already." I looked at her and reached my arms out so she can hug me. "Please let me know your pain; You don't have to tell me. I will learn the journey on my own. Let me fight for you." She let a tear escape her eyes as she closes into the hug and absorbs into my body. I felt her power lift me into the wind, and my eyes change colors; my skin begins to glow as if I was a god. I felt so new, so out of this world. I lift my hands, and the air was in my rights and the earth in my left. My hands glow white and green as they both equally connect. The garden around me changed into a palace with fine gold everywhere. I landed on the ground, and in front of me was a mirror. I walked to it as I checked out my appearances.

My hair was long and black, with beautiful curls surrounding my face. I live up to my arm as beautiful golden leaf bangles touch my upper arms with long white fabrics hand down with an elegant flow, I look at the toga over my left shoulder, and my skin glowed I mean truly glow with a powerful radiance around me. I looked at my eyes, and they were truly white and green. It's amazing to me how each one of my souls came out looking just like me. Like identical, It's crazy and truly just amazing. Wow!

A knock on the door as loud as thunder shook me out of my thoughts. "Kira, can you hear me." Lakita jump in my thought. I nod my head but looked around to see if she can see me. "Yes, I can see you. I'm inside of you, remember." She laughed, and so did I. Another knock hit the door, and I turn around towards it. "Now listen, that is Zeus, and he's kind of your uncle. Your father is.." I stop her before she can say anything.

"I know he's our father." She nodded and told me to tell Zeus to come in. "Come in!" I shouted, and he opens the large doors.  He walked in with white hair and blue eyes. Lightening waves hit me as he walked into the room.

"Lakita, You're finally awake." Zeus walked in with so much power it shooked me with fear a little. "This room came out beautiful. Is it to your liking? I know it's better than the one from the under."  Zeus walked in and stood right in front of me. I was just about to speak, but Lakita spoke for me. She holds so much power in her worlds as she spoke.

"Uncle Z, Listen, one thing you are not about to do is down the home I have ever known. You took my mother from me, you down my home. I never asked for this, and the only reason I'm here is to live up to my mother and father's name. So yes, to answer your question, I love this room, but no, it will not compare to the beauty of my home realm." Lakita is so confident where she shut down the God himself, Zeus. I wish I were her. "But you are me," she said in my head. I smile it off and turn around to look at the room more.

"I'm sorry if I offend you and anyway." he cleared his throat and then walked beside me. "I know your mother was an Aphrodite descendant, and I'm sorry I couldn't protect her when she was pregnant by you. She gave her life for you and told me to watch after you." Zeus said with so much sadness as he tries to get me to understand.

"Yet you sent me away to my father, with no knowledge of who I am or who my mother was. My father didn't know how to raise me, but he did the best he could. He loves my mother, but you didn't want to see them happy. Why?" I asked with so much anger.

"I loved your mother as well, and I let jealousy get the best of me. I'm sorry" He looked down but then looked back into my eyes. "That why I brought you here to control earth. You are the earth's protector, and ruling the earth will help you be closer to your mother. You inherited her powers, her beauty, and her strength. You are truly the descendant of Aphrodite, just as your mother was. It just she didn't live to finish the prophecy. But now you can finish what she started." Zeus touches my shoulder as a maid came into the room.

"Master Zeus, dinner is ready." She walked in with her head down, and Zeus turned to her and looked at me.

"Thank you, Stephanie." She turns to me and looks at me. "Stephanie, where is your sister?" Zeus asked

"She is finishing the table preparation, sir." Stephanie kept her head down, but I can tell you her beauty stood out.

"AH, Good." Zeus saw me staring at her and almost knew I had a connection with this girl. "Lakita, a gift from me to you. Stephanie and Sade are your maids. Treat them as you wish.

"Thank you, But they won't be my maid but my sisters. From this day forward, you will not serve but be as equal as me." Stephanie looked up at me and ran to my side. She grabbed my hand and looked at me.

"You mean it!." I nod, and she cried happy tears. Zeus smiles and looked at me and nods.

"Then it's settled. Theirs a palace on earth ready for you. Stephanie, you get your sister so you can be off at once. Treat earth kindly." Zeus said as he left the room.

"You won't be disappointed, Uncle Z, I promise." I smile so big as the guys came in for my bags to prepare to leave.

*Issac P.O.V*

My body is weak. My hurts as if it wasn't much space in there. I fell to the floor, gripping my head. "Issac listens to me, and You must go to the Over and claim my body. Hades has it. If not, you will be in pain. Two souls weren't meant to take over the same body. It's almost time. I will take over your body if you don't go and find my body." Jace ring in my head. It's funny how my father is living inside of me. I pull my phone out, calling Scott. On the first ring, he answered.

"Yeah, boss, What's going on? I'm kinda busy." listening to Monica moan and giggle into the phone tells me he's getting ready to play.

"Stop what you are doing. I need you to take me to Hades fast." Scott shushed Monica and spoke into the phone.

"Right now, " hearing movement and the background tells me he's moving around. "Like right now, right now." Monica giggled in the background kind of made me want to throw up.

"Yes Man bring your ass." I heard Scott breathe hard as he pulls the cover back and hung up the phone. My ears ring as I made my way to Kira's bed. Her skin glows white and green. They connect so well. I close my eyes as I waited for Scott.

*Lakita P.o. V*

We appeared on earth and to see the humans dance in the street of New Orleans. From the looks of it, they dressed up as unknown characters that it scarred me to ask.

"Goddess, it is the year of the day of the dead." Sade came next to me

"Yess, it where they celebrated their dead ones and connected with them on the other side. I nod my head as I watch them happily. I saw witches giving Tarot readings, some palms. Some was passing out colorful liquids, and they are having the time of there life's. We made our way to the crowd as a woman grab on to my hand and close her eyes.

"Ah, yes, you have a strange power to you, Mais, cher!" When she opened them, her eyes turn completely white. Then she drops my hand, and she looked straight at me as her eyes came back to color. "Cher, your a goddess sent from above" she stood up, and the twins surround me.

"How did you know that?" I said, looking at my palm.

" I see what others can't, Mais, cher!" She turns around and walks to her shop. "Come, I know where you must go." She opens her door and waited for me to walk through. I looked at Stephane and Sade as they beside me. She closes the door behind us and walks to the back. "The spirits told me you were coming, and someone puts a hit out on you. Mais, cher, your not safe, and the person who sent you here wants you dead. But I see a change in the situation for your mate will be the assassins who are sent to harm you." She grabs a necklace and puts it around my neck. "Your temple is outback. Let's go."

We walked to the back, and the temple looks like a small house. "Mais, cher! I hear your thoughts and looks are not what it seems. Go inside to see for yourself." We came to a red door as she encouraged me to go inside. I did with the girls trailing behind me. I swallow my spit as I walk through the doorway, and I couldn't believe my eyes. It didn't look much outside, but inside looks like a palace from the heavens above. It was white and gold, and I felt like I was an angel floating on clouds.

"It's magic, Mais, cher! Now let's get you settled. Your rooms are on the left, kitchen on the right." She pointed "upstairs are the bathrooms. It's not much of a palace, but it's beautiful, and to your liking, I see." I nodded and looked in awe.

"Miss, what is your name?" I asked

"I'm Rachel, love, and this is your new beginnings." she left to leave. The twins and I stood there, taking in the imagines of this beautiful place in front of me.

The next morning, I woke up to the smell of a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. I pull the covers back and put on my robe. Skip the shoes hopped towards the kitchen. I felt wonderful, like a change had hit me completely. As I walk into the kitchen, I saw Sade and Stephanie were cooking breakfast and getting the tables ready. I felt good to know I had sisters that stood by my side.

"Good morning Goddess," Stephanie and Sade

"Guys! I told you we are sisters. You can call me Lakita." I said as I sat at the table. For once, I felt normal as we sat and ate in the peace for have we created in New Orleans. Finishing up the last pancake, Racheal came walking with excitement in her speed. She sat next to me and pulled a plate from the table and stack pancakes, and drowned it with syrup.

"Ah, Cher! I have a surprise for you. The Mayor wants to see you tonight at our charity event. All supernatural creatures as myself will be there, and I think you shall come." She ate her pancakes and looked at me as if we been best friends forever, but I only knew of her yesterday.

"I don't know as a Goddess I have to watch over the people and never leave this palace," I said, looking down in sadness.

"But how can you protect if you have to experience the people. Come and join us tonight, I promise Cher, you will have the time of your life. For New Orleans is the soul of parties and life." She grabs a sausage and works on finishing her pancakes. Man, this girl can eat, I sat there looking at my hands for what seems like 40 mins, but it was 15 before I answered.

"Ok, we will go, Stephanie and Sade. How do you guys feel about a party," their faces light up, and I smile so big, and Racheal hugged me.

"Then it's set. Your dresses will be here. It's modern, and you will love it. I have a necklace coming tonight as well to suppress your identity and powers a little. I had a vision, and I want to be cautious of your safety." I nod, not asking questions. Apart from me knows her from somewhere just can't quite put my finger on it. I got up and headed to the bathroom to do my morning routes; I got dressed and headed to the office to start my work. On earth, many people are hurting, dying, and having no money even to pay bills. It hurts my heart to see people suffer like this. I put the paper down as I sat back into my chair. I came up with an awesome idea to give some of my gold to the people. I had enough of it way not give back. I call Stephanie and Sade to get to work and sign off on the paperwork, and I got this cold chill goes down my spine as if someone was watching me. I slowly got up from my desk and made my way to the window as I watch the sunset for the first time. It's beautiful, and unique as if it had a ton of story's to tell, and I was interested.

"I'm coming for you; Tonight is when your will shed the most blood." His voice ring in my ears as I turn around to look around the room, and no one was there. Nothing, I was freaked out when I felt someone behind me breathing on my next. I walked towards my desk and sat my hands on it as I bend my head down. A tap on the down made me shot my head up.  Racheal was at the door with boxes.

"Can I come in," I nod yes as she exam my room? She sat the boxes on the desk and looked at me. "Are you alright? I feel some strange magic in this room." I looked at her with shock and walked up to her.

"You feel it to the right, the daft in the room. Like someone is watching us." She walked to the window and touched it as she closes her eyes.

"Mais, cher!" She opens her eyes and looks at me. "Someone was standing in the room. It's him. Did he speak or say anything to you." She asked, and I nod.

"Bloodshed will happen tonight" as we looked at each other, the twins bounced in the room.

"Hey twins, how are you?" I ask them as I back away from Racheal.

"Hello Sister, we did our work and is now checking in." I smile at them and nod. Looking at the boxes, I hand them one in each color.

"Get ready for the party." They smiled and ran to get dress.  "We will need all the magic we can get." Racheal nod and look at my necklace.

"Tonight does not wear the necklace. We must be prepared. Now go and get dressed. It will be one hell of a night." Racheal said

*Issac P.o. V*

The ride to the over was long. I can feel myself slipping by the minute and Jace stronger by the second. My head was killing me in different ways: the pain, the images, the no storage space. Everything was pushing to the front of my head, and blood steeps through my ears as a loud ring hits me with a bang.

"Shit, Monica, we are losing him," Scott said as he helps me up the stairs to the castle. Half conscious, brain beating to my soul. And I can't deal with the pain.

"He's being pushed from the inside. I need his body!" I yelled as I scream in pain. We made it to the top of the stairs, and Scott bang on the door. I sat on the ground staring at the dark sky of the over, wondering if this is the time I would die. I felt my blood rising to my head, and my eyes roll to the back of my head. Seeing Jace in pain as well doesn't either. I can feel him using his powers to keep the pain at bay, but even I know that his awakening shit hurts like hell, and no powers can help.

"Bring him fast!" I heard someone say, but my eyes were too heavy to care. I felt people grab me, but none that I recognize. The world around me is to fade as the darkness closes around me.

*Lakita P.O.V*

Looking in the mirror at my lace red dress with a gold belt around my waist. I had matching gold bangles around my upper arm, and I pined my hair up into a top bun. I had beautiful tiny golden flowers all over my hair. I had matted cherry red lipstick that made my lips pop, and my eyeshadow had a natural look to it. I look at my mother, and I will protect her by protecting this earth.

A knock on the door turns me away from the mirror. "Come in," I shouted, and my twin sister came bouncing into the room with the identical dress as mines but different colors. I wore red, the twins wore white and black, and we look damn good for our age. "Ready, girls," I said and the nod as we made our way to the front door. Exiting out of our secret palace, we ended back into the voodoo priestess shop. Racheal looked at me and was shocked at how beautiful I was.

"My my my Cher, you look beautiful, yes! The dress suits you. The goddess in you shines brightly with the moon tonight." She had on a short cocktail dress. It was black and gold, and she looks like a goddess herself. She smiles and walks to the door. "Before we leave Mais, cher! We must be cautious. I saw a man, for he is an assassin. Tonight he will be sent to kill you, so stray ahead, stay with someone, ok." I nod as she opens the door. People crowd around me with awe as they looked at me with so much amazement and questions. Rachel walked in front of me as the quiet people in New Orleans watched me with Awe. I walked to a properly set stage for me with a throne that sat upon the stage. I walked up the stairs and felt my skin glow in the light as I shine with the moon. I sat down on the Thorne as everyone took me end. "Hello earth, I am Lakota, the goddess of earth and air. My mother was the goddess of love, and my father is Hades. I came to earth to save and to protect you from harm's way. People of New Orleans, let us celebrate this day where the gods and humans come together to make our dimensions a better place." Everyone started to clap as I stood up in front of everyone. I showed them my powers by adding more stars into the sky as it lights up with positivity and warmth. People stared in awe, and the music begins to play, and the dancing and laughter begins, and the twins point and giggle as we watch people have fun. "Go ahead and engage in the fun." Stephanie and Sade looked at me with a shocked expression on their faces. "Go ahead," I moved my hands for them to move forward and go, "go, I'll be fine, I promise." They ran to me and hugged me tight, and disappear into the crowd. The music was blasting, and the screams of people were getting hype with the beat. I sat there and felt myself feeling off. Sitting on a throne watching people have fun. I should be enjoying it, but I can't; I felt this chill that someone was watching me. So I stood up from my seat and joined the party. I push past the dancing people just to walk into It a dark and wet alley. As the same chill I felt ran up my spine, I dare not turn around because I knew he was there. Watching me.

"I found you." He said above a whisper.

Me holding my arms move in the direction of his voice. It was so enchanting that I moved against my will at the sound of his godly voice. How dark it was. I knew he didn't know who I was, for I slide the necklace on my wrist to keep my power at bay. "Whooo.Who are you?" I stumbled on my words first but quickly changed that to let him know I'm not afraid.

"I finally found you!" He said as he came close to me, stepping into the light. His beautiful face hit me instantly, and his eyes shine through me. I knew he felt what I felt because he stumbles back and then looked at me with curiosity. He lifts his right pointer finger and slightly turns his head. "Who am I? Who are you? What did you do to have an assassin come after you?" Now I was the one looking shocked. I looked down on the ground and then back up at him. "I'm just a normal girl coming back from a party on my way home. I can tell you I did nothing to have an assassin come after me." he looked at me and took a step closer to me. He looked at me and turned his head, and took out his sword. He ran so fast that I saw how many times he cut me. I fell to the ground but when I saw him. He was on the ground as well too. I cried out in pain as the necklace fell from my arm. The golden color came out, but I wasn't healing. I looked at him as I was on my hands and knees. "What did you do to me?" I cried out as my body completely fell to the ground. Blood and gold mixed were on the ground, and he looked at me. "I poison you, " he walked next to me and kneeled next to me. He looked into my eyes and growled, "Mines," he picks me up and runs me back to the crowd of the party. All I heard was, "He wanted me to kill my mate" he ran so fast I couldn't hear or see, "fuck, why you." My vision went black as I felt my pulse slowly fade away.

"Lakita." who's calling me?

"Lakita," I heard it again. I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't.

"Fuck, She's dying, and there's nothing we can do!" the man punched something. My eyes came open, but I felt my body is weak.

"Where..where am I" my body felt super weak, and I barely could keep my eyes closed.

"We are in the palace. Where you will sleep, cher." I looked at Racheal, who was crying her eyes out in silence as I looked at her.

"Why are you crying," I said to her, and she tried to smile, but it never reached her eyes.

"Your dying Lakita, the poison you been cut with is lethal. You're slowly dying, and there's nothing we can do." She wipes her eyes. "I tried every magical spell I could and nothing." The guy came up next to me and looked me in the eyes.

"I'm going to tell you this because it's true. Zeus told me to kill you." The flashbacks of him telling the story plays in my mind. "He never told me that you were my mate. He told me your name, and I found you. I did this, and now you're going to die because of it." I touch his hand, and my eyes turn white. Lucien killed Zeus with the same sword, and he turned himself into Zeus and gave this man the order. "Jace, I want you to kill her," the words place in my head. I looked at him, and I tried to get it out before taking my last breath. "Luuuiiicc..." My head drops to the bed as I took my last breath. The twins cried, and so did Jace.

*Kira P.O.V*

I woke up lying in the middle of the grass in the meadow. I looked at Lakita as she helped me up. "Yes, I died by the hands of my mate, but the important thing you know what can kill you." She wipes my tears as he looked me in the eyes. "The blade of the demons can kill a god. It is drenched in the blood of a demon while coated with silver. It had a binding spell that pieces it together. Find that blade, and your one step closer to declaring victory." She hugged me and went into my body. I fell to my knees as both elements went through me.

I Looked at Akita as her human bodies look so fragile. I walked up to her "you're the last one," I said to her, and she smiles.

"They saved my death for last because it's the worse. To die by water is the worse in book anyways." I got up and went to sit next to Akita. "You want to know why us." I nod, and she looked at me. "Why not us?  We are chosen for this moment to live through you. I know it's bad, but because of one guy, our life was taken away, and with you by our side. We can finally stop that. We are all connected, and you will be the final piece of our life puzzle." She was so confident about me and the outcome of this war.

"May I ask why you are so calm about this," I asked, looking at her while she medicates. She opens her eyes and looked at me, and smile.

"Because I have a secret that no one knows, and guess what your the first to take a sneak peek." She turns around to face me, and I do the same. She puts her hand on my head and closes her eyes. "Kira, one thing about me is I'm not just a human. I have more to me than you know. The last piece of the power." When she said that, she kissed me, and I felt the water flow inside of me. The power she had was unspoken of.

"Akita, no!" A Woman

"I must kill him. I know I can do it; I just need the water," Akita said

"You're just human! No!" The girl screamed.

"Don't get caught up in the dream. You weren't the only one to care for the spirits. I did too, but the thing is, I was a human witch. I had the power to kill Lucien, but I died by water instead. He killed me by the element he didn't control. They tried to disobey him but in the ended the element couldn't define him. Lucien is immortal. No way of killing him but your father, the spirit of your mother, Issac, Jace, and your Immortal power, plus that blade is the tools you need to stop him. You just need a plan. Your bloodline is with you.  Your mate, your son, now it's up to you to win. Go and learn of my time of being a witch, and you will know." I scream so loud when I was sucked into her world. "I know it hurts, but you have to let me in, don't fight it. Just let go." And I did. I let go of everything. Being killed over and over again by Lucien. Now it's to time to find out the truth.
