3 Chapter 2 - Meeting Clary

Melissa POV

I was shocked that happened really but also happy but mostly embarrassing.

Melissa: Well that's interesting, so where is this Clary Fairchild?

Lydia: She's in her room probably.

Melissa: I'll meet her later than.

Lydia: Yeah so follow me.

She showed me around as I saw everything but I saw Aldertree, never liked him, he screamed shady.

Melissa: Why aren't you head of the institute?

Lydia: Sigh cause of Maryse, Aldertree is head of the institute.

Melissa: Yeah, the clave's kiss ass, never liked him and neither does the inquisitor, she sees right pass him.

Lydia: Good, maybe things will be better with you here.

I nodded to walk to see Jocelyn Fairchild as this could be a good thing, I could save Jocelyn from the demon.

Lydia: So? You interested in Clary Fairchild.

Melissa: I mean in Idris there all talking about the daughter of valentine but I wanna see what she's like.

Lydia: Uh-huh right.

I looked away from Lydia to keep walking as we reached the training room as I saw Clary Fairchild.

Lydia: And speak and she shall appear, Clary Fairchild.

I look at her training to say she's beautiful as I see Jocelyn watching her.

Lydia: Why don't you go train with her?

Melissa: Fine but stop playing matchmaker.

Lydia smiled as I walked up to Clary.

Melissa: Hey, why don't you train with me?

Clary turned around to see me which she had wide eyes as a rune started drawing itself on our hands.

Melissa: I'm Melissa Herondale

Clary: C-Clary Fairchild.

We shook hands as I see a blush on her face as I had one as well.

Melissa: Mind helping me with a workout?

Clary: Sure.

I picked up a wooden sword as I walked to her as I got in a stance as I charged at her as we striked each other I kicked her leg under her as she fell.

Melissa: Come on Fairchild.

I smirked as she did too as we went at it with strikes being parried every time.

Clary: Your enjoying this, aren't you?

Melissa: Yes I am.
