32 Obliterated Into Nothingness

"Are you the Human Emperor?" Shadow asked without showing much emotions.

"Human Emperor? Not anymore. I am a being of transcendence and speaking of which, you must be the guy that killed my Elite War Generals," The Human Emperor spread his arms as his pitch black eyes seemed to mock everything in its vision, while giving off a sinister feeling.

Hearing his answer, Shadow solemnly stretched out his right arm as the God Decimating sword materializes itself in Shadow's hand. The colossal sword was much larger than Shadow's body, however, it seemed as if it was created just for Shadow.

Shadow stared at the Human Emperor dead in the eye as he slowly said, "Why did you wipe out Righteous Sword Sect? Why did you kill the villagers? Why... Why did you kill Lin Fan?!"

Each and every word pierced Shadow's heart; It pained him to great extent upon recalling the unpleasant memories.

The Human Emperor lifted up it brows, feeling slightly surprised.

With a carefree tone, he said, "My my, I didn't expect you to be from Righteous Sword Sect. But, it doesn't matter anyway. Let me tell you, so listen up. The reason why I wiped out the Dark Forest region... was to kill the one that will take my throne, which is you."

"W-what?" Shadow was momentarily caught off guard by the answer.

"I never intend to contend for your throne in the first place," Shadow spitefully answered.

"Hahaha, look at you. Pointing a sword at your Emperor and saying you are not taking my throne. Pffttt..." The Human Emperor could not help but let out a laugh.

Shadow's grip on the sword tightened as the colors in his eyes darkened. He was trying to best to control his anger. With a sigh, Shadow spoke, "This is for my brother."

With that, spiderweb-like cracks formed on the ground as Shadow exploded forward with a boom. Catching the Human Emperor off guard, he could only raise his demonic arm and blocked it instead.

Although there was a slight scratch on his arm, the Human Emperor was knocked two steps back.

Shadow immediately resumed his sword stance and lunged forward again, all of his focus was on the Human Emperor.

After being caught off guard once, the Human Emperor become serious as he charged forward at the incoming Shadow.

His demonic claws gripped the edge of shadow's sword, preventing Shadow from pushing the sword down. With a glint in his eyes, pure unadulterated Spirit Qi exploded from within him, attempting to blast Shadow away.

Seeing that, Shadow also released his own Spirit Qi, both sides contending against each other based on their own cultivation prowess.

Evidently, the Human Emperor was on the losing end of the stick as his Spirit Qi was gradually pushed back, while Shadow's Spirit Qi was slowly consuming it.

It was all due to the fact that Shadow started to cultivate Spirit Qi much earlier than the Human Emperor and thus, he had a much more solid cultivation base.

"ARGH!" The pure Spirit Qi struck the Human Emperor like a whip, sending him crashing into a ground not far away.

The rampant Spirit Qi from Shadow wrecked havoc within the interiors of the Human Emperor, causing the Human Emperor to cough out blood after blood, as if he was generously giving it away for free.

Seeing the approaching Shadow, the Human Emperor struggled to get up. He knew that it was impossible for HIM to defeat Shadow. With a soft and weak murmur, he uttered the forbidden words, "Your faithful servant both in this life and the rest. Shall serve you for all eternity. Oh, Evil itself, please manifest in thy servant. Akail!"

Just as his words ended, Shadow's Sword struck. But before it could reach the Human Emperor, a black mist shot down from the sky once again, repelling Shadow's sword.

Shadow frowned as he sensed the sinister feeling from before, it was much more intense than before. Being in such close proximity with the beam of darkness, Shadow felt his existence slowly fading away.

Instinctively, Shadow leaped back just in time to observe the Human Emperor walking out of the dispersing black beam.

The Human Emperor was significantly different from before. The current him was much more calm and dignified, and wisps of black were emitted from his body. The yellow golden robe was now fully black, causing light to be suck into it.

The Human Emperor gave a casual glance as he spotted Shadow not far away. He scrutinized Shadow for a while, which caused Shadow to frown in displeasure at being inspected at.

For a fact, Shadow knew that the Human Emperor was long gone and the figure in front of him was something else, something much more stronger and sinister.

The Human Emperor opened his mouth as a puff of black mist rolled out, "You. I have never seen a creature like this before. I can't see into you and yet, you are so weak. Who are you?"

Shadow cautiously replied, "Shadow. Who are you?"

The Human Emperor frowned before his brows relaxed and said, "Normally, those who dare talk like this to me will have their souls reaped. I will make an exception for you. People call me Evil. I am a manifestation of people's desires or in simpler terms, a god."

Evil continued, "I did not ask for your name. I want to know what-exactly-are-you."

"I'm not sure. When I woke up, I'm already in this world," Shadow replied. He also wanted to know what exactly he was. He was not like Lin Fan who needed to eat, sleep, shit and wear clothes.

Evil gave a regretful sigh, "Looks like I wouldn't ever find out after all. My servant has summoned me to deal with you and I'm here to do just that. No hard feelings. Have a pleasant journey."

Shadow released his Spirit Qi as Evil disappeared from the spot and immediately appeared right in front of Shadow.

Before Shadow's body could even react, Evil struck out with a casual punch. However, that seemingly soft punch was a punch of a god, it could even destroy worlds.

No doubt, Shadow's body dispersed into a puff of black mist as the power of a Spirit Creation cultivator was released from its vessel. Due to the sudden lack of vessel, the power of Spirit Creation and the Spirit Qi exploded from the black mist as it generated waves of destructive power outwards.

In that instant, the Human Emperor's body became lifeless as it collapsed onto the ground. However, before it even touched the ground, it was erased by the explosive energy.
