The Imperial Academy! The Dark Forest.

The port where the flying ship landed was very big. It was a made of a stone that was green in color, but not a strong green color but a light one. There were beautiful small trees here and there that gave a impression that this was a beautiful city square and not a port.

In the distance everyone could he a majestic castle, with towers rising to the sky, it was a black in color and it seemed made out of ordinary stone, but it gave of an ancient and powerful aura.

"We came here to teste our talent not so long ago, but the felling it gives me is the same as alwes, majestic and powerful" said Daniel.

"Yeah..." said Jenny.

While the ship was landing and everyone was contemplating the view Gabriel sneaked back to his room, he opened the door and inside was a person wearing green robes and silver mask was sitting.

"So did anyone see you?" said the person with the silver mask.

"Yes big brother Gabriel, that big fellow Ben was looking at me with murderous look in his eyes, but when we were close to the port he lost interest and I took the chance to sneak back." said Maria.

"Good, now let's change back and go" said Gabriel.

After killing the first elder Gabriel had to think of a way to get rid of the suspicion on him, after all everyone knew he went with the first elder to his room. So Gabriel thought about using the mana to alter the vibration of his voice to match the fist elders then take his clothes, then with a palm he destroyed the first elder body, after that he cleaned the room of every drop of blood, and then told Maria to dress in his clothes and go to the deck. There were many loophole in his plan, but it was the best one that Gabriel had.

"I was lucky this time, well worst case scenario I just expose my strength." said Gabriel to himself.

After they changed back Gabriel and Maria went to the deck.

Went they got there Gabriel noticed that only a few servants were still carrying some bags all the others already went.

"Well I better hurry as well"

After leaving the ship Gabriel saw that there were a lot of ships around this square and after leaving they ships they all went to the center.

"Everyone of who passed the entrence examination please go the right there is a student who will take you directly to your residence" in the middle of the square was a student shouting in loud voice.

"Hmph those lucky bastards, just becouse they got a little bit more talent than us they can enjoy the best resources and knowledge that the Academy has to offer."

When Gabriel heard this he frowned, he didn't actually care about the resources but he was very interested in the knowledge that the Academy had to offer. After all Gabriel was like a kid who had a tank but didn't know how to shoot or drive it, a lot of his potential wasn't being used. He also wanted to know what level of power he had.

"Excuse me fried, but why can't we have access to the same knowledge as those that enter with they're talent?" asked Gabriel.

The boy who was complaining was a bit fellow, about two meters tall, brown hair, green eyes and round face. He looked at Gabriel with strange eyes "You don't know something so simple"

Gabriel had an awkward smile "Well actually I wast suppose to get letter of recommendation, it was all thanks to my father."

"My name is John" said the boy as he extended his hand in greeting.

"Nice to meet you, I am Gabriel" this was a handshake that changed the life of a boy who will shake the Empire one day.

"So about what you were saying.."

"Well it's like this, there are three classes in total every year, the elite class, the normal class, and the low class. Those who passed the examination and have the necessary talent can go directly to the elite class, they are the ones who enjoy most of the resources, the best skills and Mantras that the Academy has to offer. The other students who got into the Academy with a recommendation letter can only go to the normal class, they enjoy less resources, and also don't have access to the better magic skills or Mantras. Well I think I don't have to tell you about the low class, they are the ones who have the worst time here." said John

Gabriel thought for a while then said "How can the Academy tell who will go to the normal class and who will go to the low class, and also you said those who pass the examination and have the necessary talent go directly to the elite class, does that mean that people from normal class can go to the elite class?"

"Well it's easy actually, there will be a competition and based on the results we will be assigned to low or normal class. As for entering the elite class, there was times in the Academy history when students from normal class and even from low class bloomed latter and showed extremely amazing power and talent they entered the elite class, but those cases are rare"

After talking with Jonh for about twenty minutes about trivial things when they heard someone shou out loud.

Then a women descended from the sky, it was an amazing sight, then she landed in the center on a small plataforma. It was a very beautiful women about 1.8 metars tall, with golden hair, round face, cherry lips and beautiful brown eyes, a big bosom, and perfect long legs, she was wearing a gray robe with a griffin insignia on the chest.

"Everyone first off all let me congratulait you all for being here, even if you came with a recommendation letter, it means that you are the best of the younger, if you work hard then it will be possible for you to rise to the elite class and be the best!"

Everyone was mesmerized not by her speech but by her beautiful voice.

"Now all of you will be divided in low and normal classes, to do that we prepered a little test in the dark forest. Now every one follow me."

After saying that she turned around and started walking after her.

"Hey John who is she" asked Gabriel

"Haha did you fall in love, don't worry it's normal, that is head teacher Lillian Griffin she comes from the Imperial Family, she is a living legend, when coming to the Academy she was part of the low class but after half a year she rose directly to the elite class" said John.

Gabriel was genuinely surprised, for someone to suddenly go from low class to elite in half a year was amazing.

After walking for some time they got to an area that had three platforms made of strange material, there were a lot of students wering green robes and gray robes and even some students with golden robes, they aperead to be patrolling this area.

"Now everyone one I know that all of you are at least at the 3 star apprentice, so for this teste we will teleport you to the first are of the Dark forest near the border of the second one, your objective is to get out, you will be judged according to the time you take."

"What, the Dark Foret?!?"

"How can this be!?"

"Isn't the test usually a stage battle"

After waiting for a while for everyone to calm down Lillian said.

"The Academy is here to raise true Magi Knights who fight with their life on the line if you are not ready to take a small risk then you can leave now." said Lillian "Anthony come here"

Then a old man with a square face and with hair and beard, wearing a butler uniform aperead out of thin air.

"Madame head Teacher" said Anthony.

"Take all the servants and instruct them about the rules"

"Yes" then Anthony turned to the crowd and said "All the servants come after me.

Gabriel turned to Maria who was behind him and said "Be careful"

"Yes young Master you too" then she followed all the other servants and went with the old butler.

"Activate the portal" said Lillian

"Yes" come four old voices from somewhere.

Gabriel didn't try to use his power to scout the area ahead from fear of being found out.

The Platform on the left started glowing with a dark silver light and then a circle of about four meters in diameter aperead on the platform, looking at the circle you could just barely see that on the other side seemed to be a forest.
