2 Chapter 02: First friend.

...

"Then, you shall be named Morgan Ashborn little one…" The knight seemingly called Ashborn said calmly with a tint of warmth in his cold and icy voice.

His body started to fade away and slowly disappeared from the human couple's sight, however, before that, his eyes suddenly darted toward a certain direction.

Far away, he saw a spaceship crashing down on earth and precisely on the American continent.

'... It accidentally followed me through the gate…' Although Ashborn didn't know where it actually came from, but, he knew that there was a life form in it too.

"...please… educate him well, the future will depend on you both…" Ashborn's voice sounded one last time as he completely disappeared.

Adam and Kaede looked at each other in surprise and confusion as the baby cried out drawing their attention.

"Hey, there, there…" Kaede with a motherly expression soothed the baby.

...

*Four years later…*

"Morgan come and help me…!" A feminine and gentle voice sounded out from a house. The voice was from Kaede, a gorgeous red-haired woman.

"Yes, mom!" A cute and small voice replied and the sound of footsteps rang out from up the stairs as an energetic child came running out happily while sliding on the stair.

It was a very cute dark-haired little boy of about five years or so.

"Hmm? But Mom can't you just use your Quirk?" After having rushed like a hero to help his mother, the five years old boy pondered and asked innocently.

"Hmm? It's true, but you're here to help me aren't you?" Kaede crouched down and smiled at him. Her Quirk was to give life to inanimate objects and control them.

"Oh… I see…" The little Morgan was taken aback at first but rapidly laughed. "What can I help you with Mom?"

"Good, that's how a gentleman should behave…" Kaede nodded happily

"First, go find your father for me, would you?"

"Yes, Mom!" And so, Morgan ran out to find his father who was below a tractor repairing it or so.

"Hey, dad, mom is calling you, we're gonna eat!" The kid cheered up thinking about his dessert.

"Oh…" The man exclaimed and stood up and clapped his hands to get rid of the dust and all.

It was Adam, a handsome blond-haired middle-aged man with a rather tall frame but a lean figure whose Quirk was to materialize weapons.

"Alright, I'm coming in a bit, buddy …" Adam smiled and said.

"Okay!" And so Morgan returned to his mom.

Adam eventually joined them as they are a little something.

Indeed, like promised during their meeting with the black knight Ashborn, Adam immediately changed their names through some secret and unknown means of his. They were fortunate to live rather far away from people and didn't startle people so much. To make it short no one paid attention to them.

After having done that, they quickly accommodated the child and even sent him to nursery school.

The child quickly showed an above-average cleverness and a slightly above-average strength being just a bit stronger than a quirkless child standard, and so he was put in the strength type class.

After having sent him to nursery school they at first thought that this baby would be extraordinary and would show a peerless Quirk or something but after years and years passed by they noticed that… this baby was perfectly normal, extremely cute, but also quite normal…

Or so they thought...

Despite that the two parents gave all the love a parent should give, Kaede gave her motherly love while Adam taught him all the principles and morals a man should have.

...

Years passed by again and Morgan was sent to the elementary school in a small town near their farm.

After having driven the car for a couple of kilometers, Morgan and Adam arrived in front of a huge building and got out of the car as they walked together toward it. It was the school's building… and Morgan felt rather nervous.

He was put into the Quirkless class, that is to say, the people who were quite despised and mocked by the other kids.

Seeing his son being nervous, instead of encouraging him, Adam laughed it out as he strokes his head.

"Hey, don't be afraid boy…" Adam brought his head closer and gazed into his eyes as he flicked his forehead.

"Whatever they will say or do to you will never be more painful than my training, okay?"

"Uh...yes?" For some reason, the little Morgan truly felt that this line was wrong…

"Hehe, just remember what I taught you and you will be fine, alright? If you can't then just call the teacher, and if he doesn't do a thing, tell me at home and I will do something alright?"

"...Uh okay?" Once again, this felt truly wrong.

But what could he do right? And so with that said, Adam gave a kiss to Morgan's forehead and let him go with the guy in charge to guide kids.

"Go, and remember what I taught you…" Adam waves his hands for a couple of minutes before going back.

Morgan was then guided by someone to his class.

"The teacher will arrive shortly, but go and meet your comrades…"

And as he entered the class, he saw a strange sight. Two kids were bullying another one. One of them was shooting water while the other was just hitting wantonly.

"Haha, this is funny, look!"

"S- stop, it's not funny! Wahh!" The small kid cried out.

And as an innocent and cute six years old kid educated by his father, Morgan of course rushed to help.

"Hey! what are you doing, stop!" With that, he pushed the water shooter as well as the hitter.

"Don't you see him crying! So stop!" Morgan looked angrily at the two who stared back at him angrily.

"We're only playing! Why are you interfering!"

"Because your game is not funny!" Morgan replied fervently.

"It's not your problem, go away!"

"Yeah, go away!"

"No!"

"You…!"

"I said no! Till the teacher comes, I won't move from here! Let him go!" Morgan replied again, quite resolute not to move.

"Then take this!" The water shooter threw a bucket worth of water at Morgan while the other kid grew out a pair of wings and began to fly at him.

'What-?' Morgan unprepared was hit by the water but it wasn't enough to hurt him.

Taking this chance the flying one rushed at him like a small bird and tried to kick him.

"Take this too!"

But, Morgan jumped at the flying one to his very surprise and caught him as he then slammed him on the ground.

Seeing this the water shooter threw some water again but Morgan just put a hand forward and rushed at him.

At one meter away, Morgan remembered his father's teaching.

'Charge your punch, clench your butt and punch with all your might!' Adam said with a smile. "If they hit you hard, then hit them harder! If they use their Quirks, then use every means to get it back at them!"

And he did just that!

Pah!

His fist hit the water shooter as the latter fell to the ground pitifully.

The water shooter didn't understand anything at all as he stared blankly with his eyes rapidly being filled with tears.

"Wahhh!"

As a result, the other one started to cry too.

"Wahhh!"

Seeing them crying Morgan felt a bit guilty and was about to apologize when…

"Hey, you! Why did you hurt my friends?" A grey-haired boy came and said.

"Your friends bullied someone… they have to apologize…" Morgan said a bit displeased.

"And what is your Quirk…?"

"I… I have... none..."

"Pfff! Hahaha, you don't even have any Quirk, and you want me to apologize?" Grey hair laughed and rushed at Morgan with his hands releasing smoke and shooting at Morgan.

"Cough! Cough! Stop!" Smokes being too much he fell butt on the floor while Smoky approached to beat him.

However, before he could touch Morgan, a streak of golden light flashed by, and…

Bam! Grey hair was sent flying like a broken doll toward a sofa.

"Hehe, not bad for a Quirkless! What's your name?"

Morgan who was still coughing heard the question and lifted his head and saw her...

It was a cheerful but tomboyish golden-haired girl about the same age as him dressed in blue and red. She was smiling at him still waiting for her answer.

"Uh… I, my name is Morgan…" Morgan replied as he shook his head.

"Oh… Morgan is it? I'm Kara, a pleasure to meet you!" She grinned and gave her hand to help him up.

"Uh, thanks but what about them?" Morgan said as he looked at the three bullies coming back.

"It's fine, I'm here and…" Kara beamed and then rushed forward.

"I'm the best!"

A few minutes later, the three bullies were down, tired, and defeated.

Kara completely 'crushed' them!

"...Amazing…" Morgan whispered as he looked at them.

"Isn't it?" The little Kara came back proudly.

"Yeah…"

The teacher finally arrived when everything was finished.

The three bullies complained and both Morgan and Kara were punished on the first day.

...

Since that day the two became friends and would even invite each other to their houses to play.
