Jin looked around the circle, full of devastation, huge craters, thick layers of ice, broken ruins everywhere.

A thunderclap exploded violently from above her, and the dark clouds in the air flashed with lightning, as if a lightning storm was brewing.

As Jin threw a bolt of lightning slashed at her.

"Ah!"

The blow struck Esdeath hard. Due to the fact that Esdeath is so high in the sky. Although Esdeath protected her entire body with solid ice in time to counteract most of the lightning's power, the hastily created ice was still not strong enough and was shattered by the lightning bolt hitting Esdeath inside.

Immediately afterward, Esdeath grinned inexplicably.

Esdeath lifted her hands in the air, and a huge ice wall of hundreds of meters thick suddenly appeared, blocking the thunder blade of Jin.

"You think this will be enough for me?"

"No, that's why I'm going to enjoy this."

In the midst of their fierce confrontation, Esdeath's eyes gleamed with a manic intensity. She uttered chilling words as her hands were poised for a devastating attack, her malevolent grin sending shivers down the spines of all who witnessed it. "No, that's why I'm going to enjoy this. Prepare yourself, love!"

With unparalleled mastery over ice, she unleashed her fury. Countless ice picks materialized from thin air, erupting simultaneously from all sides of Jin. They spiraled towards him with deadly precision, forming a veritable barrage of lethal projectiles.

Swiss.

It was a relentless onslaught, but Jin was prepared. With remarkable speed and precision, he extended a hand, and a symphony of force fields manifested around him. Each one was unique, crafted with different elements and properties, forming an impervious barrier that shielded him from the onslaught.

Esdeath's laughter echoed through the battlefield as her relentless assault continued. The ice picks transformed into an array of deadly weapons—spears, arrows, swords, halberds, and axes, among others. They whirled through the air at incomprehensible speeds, aimed to pierce, slash, and cleave.

Despite the ferocity of Esdeath's attack, Jin remained unscathed behind his dwindling defenses. Some of the force fields bore holes and cracks from the unyielding assault, but they held firm. Jin's concentration was unwavering as he gauged the trajectory of each attack and reinforced the remaining shields accordingly.

"Esdeath's maniacal laughter continued as she pushed the limits of her power, launching her frozen arsenal at speeds surpassing sound itself. The battlefield became a symphony of destruction, a testament to their otherworldly abilities and relentless determination.

But as time passed, even Esdeath's relentless assault began to wane. Some force fields had crumbled under the sheer onslaught, and others bore scars of battle. Jin, ever the strategist, seized the moment when Esdeath paused to gather her strength.

Their confrontation had reached a critical juncture, where every move had the potential to tip the scales. The battlefield was a testament to their incredible powers, but neither combatant was willing to yield. The clash between Jin and Esdeath had only just begun.

"It's time to level up my love," Jin waved his hand towards the sky. Then spread both hands and feet, the whole person in a large shape, a mysterious power rose from Jin's body, and mana danced around him.

A boom louder than all the previous thunder explodes violently.

"You're finally willing to stop using those useless spells. Just as well, I don't want to play with you anymore now." Faced with this situation, Esdeath revealed a calm smile as she turned on her cold force field to the extreme.

The air began to freeze, and the molecular movement came to a standstill.

Jin's eyes were wide open, pink light shone out, and a lightning bolt kept striking down from the sky towards Esdeath. The spell was at least a city buster, enough to cause a total collapse of electricity in a whole country, besides frying the whole city.

The amazing scene happened, only to see a lightning bolt, after entering the range of the cold force field, rapidly decaying at a speed visible to the naked eye.

A long, lightning-like line of ice was left in mid-air.

The Jin fully executed lightning strike didn't even make it within ten meters of Esdeath.

"What?"

Even Jin was shocked, as it wasn't that he hadn't fought against Esdeath before, and it could even be said that both tried their moves on each other.

Based on previous experience, although the cold force field could block most mid-tier spells or slow down higher tier, it was often within a meter or two of Esdeath before it was completely stopped.

Taking advantage of this daze of Jin, Esdeath then seized the opportunity to quickly approach him.

Esdeath stepped on an ever-extending icicle and wrapped a cold force field around her body, rapidly closing the distance between the two.

After punching, Esdeath took hold of his hands as soon as she could, and cold air was released, instantly forming solid ice to freeze Jin's hands.

As Esdeath's relentless Ice Force Field encased Jin, slowly but surely freezing him within its icy grip, a hushed tension filled the air. It seemed that victory was within her grasp, and a sly smile tugged at the corners of her lips. She'd underestimated him once, and she wouldn't make the same mistake again.

But Jin had other plans. With a knowing glint in his eye and a playful tone in his voice, he addressed his formidable opponent, the first love of his life. "Well played, love, but you don't think it's over, do you?"

Esdeath's cerulean eyes narrowed as she tried to discern his cryptic words. What was he planning? It was a fleeting moment of hesitation, but in the world of combat, a split second could change everything.

And change it did.

Before she could react, Jin's shadow began to move, slithering like a sentient entity. It crept around his foot, winding its way up his body with an eerie, unnatural grace. It was a mesmerizing yet unsettling sight, like a dance of darkness defying the cold embrace of ice.

Esdeath's eyes widened as realization dawned on her, but it was too late. In the blink of an eye, Jin's shadow extended, engulfing him entirely. It swirled and coiled around him like an inky vortex, consuming him in its obsidian embrace.

The transformation was nothing short of astonishing. From the darkness of his shadow emerged a pitch-black armor that gleamed with an otherworldly radiance. It clung to him like a second skin but with bulk, etched with intricate, sinuous patterns that seemed to writhe and pulse with an eerie, eldritch energy.

The armor is a deep, obsidian black that seems to absorb light rather than reflect it. It covers him from head to toe, leaving no part of his body exposed. The darkness of the armor is so profound that it appears to be a void, a living abyss.

The surface of the armor is etched with intricate, sinuous designs that seem to writhe and pulse with an eerie, eldritch energy. These patterns give the armor an otherworldly, almost sentient quality, as if it's a living entity bound to Jin's will.

The aura of pure, unadulterated power radiating from him.

The armor is composed of overlapping, angular plates, resembling polished obsidian. These plates offer excellent protection while allowing for a full range of motion. They appear both lightweight and incredibly durable.

The armor left no joints or weak points exposed. It's as if it's been meticulously designed to eliminate any vulnerabilities.

The helmet of the shadow armor concealed Jin's face, leaving only the glowing azure of his eyes visible.

Esdeath's shock was palpable. She had seen many incredible powers in her time, but this transformation was unlike anything she had ever witnessed. Her normally composed demeanor wavered for a fraction of a second before determination hardened her gaze.

Jin, now armored in the darkness itself, stood ready for the next phase of their confrontation.

"You know with those eyes you're really making me wet down there. With those eyes, you ignite a fire within me that refuses to be quenched, darling," Esdeath murmured. Esdeath's words tumbled from her lips without restraint. As her voice tinged with a hint of great desire.

"I... I don't even know how to respond to this," Jin replied. As a silence took place after her words before both grinned.

The battlefield was charged with anticipation as the two formidable foes and lovers faced off once more, their powers and resolve pushed to the limit. The clash of ice and shadow had entered a new and perilous phase, and the outcome remained uncertain.

Jin POV.

I relaxed on the bench I was sitting on, which wasn't all that comfortable but then again what can you expect out of a bench that hasn't been touched by humans in thousands of years.

"Here just lay across my laps that way I don't have to worry about you getting in all this sand." Esdeath laughed as she saw me trying to adjust myself.

I shrugged and soon enough with Esdeath sitting in back, I was able to lay my waist to my head on the softer thick thighs of my first lover, and my legs and feet were definitely well clothed/protected enough to prevent any discomfort.

" It's great I could use your two pillows." I giggled and she likewise chuckled and lost a bit of tension feeling me so docile.

Esdeath started brushing her hands through my hair like she always does in the bed when cuddling. After all love is not about sex. And I found such comfort that is hard to describe.

Esdeath just started lightly running her fingers through my hair and I had a decent mop of hair on my hair so feeling such 'mechanical precision' in basically massaging my scalp and pulling my hair in just the right way literally made my eyes flutter in bliss.

"I feel so relaxed doing this. Taking care of and providing comfort to you provides me more satisfaction than simply fighting, killing, or even torturing lifeforms it seems." Esdeath mused idly and as I stared up past the breasts covering the lighting from falling into my eyes, I could see her beautiful breast pretty clearly.

"If just comforting me makes you so fulfilled, I have to ask how you felt when we were intimate?" As I asked, I felt the thighs I was laying on, stiffen up as Esdath's stuck her free hand up my shirt and started running her hand around my chest making me almost giggle at the feeling before I relaxed into Esdeath's loving touches.
