Chapter 49: Naming Violet

"So what now?" I asked, "Are you going to stay in this cat form or transform into a humanoid form?"

"Well, I could, but it would drain a lot of my power, though, and I wouldn't be able to stay here for long."

Right, if I remember correctly, spiritual beings need a physical body to remain as long as they want in the physical world, and for higher spiritual beings, more powerful bodies would be required.

"Hmm..." I wonder if I could do it. I brought forth two hundred of my human shadows.

"Could you make a vessel out of these?" I asked.

She looked closer at the shadows, "So these are the shadow soldiers you used while fighting Veldora."

"Huh? Ahhh, right. I forgot you were there with me," I scratched the back of my head, "I was so drunk in the beginning I barely remember how I started the fight."

"Hmmm..." She hummed, walking around a shadow soldier, "It should be possible to create a host body from these shadows."

"Then do it." I didn't have anything against losing 200 soldiers, and I'm confident after fighting Veldora and surviving that, I could take her on when she isn't even named.

Violet started absorbing the shadows and creating a new vessel for herself, and it didn't take long before instead of a purple cat, a girl with middle-length purple hair tied into a side ponytail, as well as purple fingernails.

That wasn't the only change. Isn't she too tall? If I remember correctly, Violet was the shortest out of all the primordials, so why isn't she a loli but a grown woman? This was unexpected, but I'm not complaining. She looked similar to Scáthach from the Fate series.

"Huh? Why am I taller?" She asked, seeing her body before looking at me for an explanation.

I just shrugged, "I don't know, maybe you subconsciously wanted to be taller?"

She frowned, "I did not..." she paused for a while, "Okay, maybe I did..."

"This tea is surprisingly good," Violet said as we sat on one of the castle balconies while drinking tea.

I nodded, "Yeah, I have to agree with you," Mio has been practicing her tea brewing skills to make the best tea. I remember the first time she tried to brew tea and somehow managed to burn the water.

Now that I think about it, I never asked her for a name, "So do you have a name, or should I continue to call you miss cat?" I asked in a slightly joking tone.

Her eyes twitched slightly at being called miss cat, "No, I don't have a name, but you can call me Violet." She replied, "And your name was Ashborn, if I remember correctly?"

"Yup, that's my name," I answered before sipping my tea, "But let's get down to why I gave you the body," I said, and she seemed interested.

"Oh, and why is that?" She asked, tilting her head, "You gave them willingly, and we didn't make a contract."

"The body was just a gift. But I still want to make a contract with you." I said. While I have many shadows serving under me, I wouldn't let the chance of getting a primordial to serve under me pass.

"A contract?" She asked while looking unimpressed.

"I want you to serve me," I said, looking at her reaction.

"You want me to serve you?" She asked while releasing her Demon Lord Haki.

"Could you stop that? It's annoying," I said, not bothered by it.

She stopped before asking, "And what would I get out of serving you?"

"Simple, you serve me, and I will give you a name," I replied with a slight smirk.

She didn't reply immediately but continued to look at me in shock for a while before giving me a devilish smile, "Fine, if you give me a name, I will serve you."

"Verry, well then," I finished my tea before standing up and looking at Violet, "From today, your name will be Ultima," I know I'm bad with names, so I decided to go with the name Rimuru would give her.

She got enveloped in a cocoon of magicules as her evolution started, and when it was complete, her appearance changed slightly.

Her eye color changed from yellow to dark purple, similar to my eyes when they glow. My eyes looked down a bit to see that her...

"Hey, where are you looking," She paused for a while, and her eyes widened, "Holy shit, they grew bigger!"

"Yeah..." I said awkwardly, "But could you make new clothes? These ones are a bit too small."

She was checking out the changes to her body, completely ignoring me, "Ekhmmm..." I faked a cough, and she finally snapped out of it.

"What? Oh... Yeah, new clothes..." Her body started glowing before her clothes changed to something that fit her new body.

"So, master, what should I do now?" She asked.

"Uh..." I haven't thought about anything she could do, "After we are done here, Alpha will tour you around the castle so you know where everything is located.

---

"And she called me a goddess," Ultima laughed, "So I decided to have some fun and give her a tiara with a lot of magic stored in it, but in exchange, her future generations would be cursed."

"So you have been relaxing and having fun observing her future generations suffer?" I asked.

"Do you dislike that I would help her with nothing in return?" She asked, actually looking worried for a moment.

"No." I replied, putting down my teacup, "I just can't believe I didn't think of doing something like that."

"Huh? Really?"

I nodded, "Of course, I just got an excellent idea for a prank." I chuckled darkly, "You know how the royal families always want a male heir," I looked at her, and she nodded, "So then, how about making a curse their bloodline only to have daughters."

"Oh, that sounds like fun." She said, excited.
