46 Chapter 46: How to Wake up a Sleeping Dragon

"Milim, please explain why you are here again and destroyed yet another door?" I asked with a smile while my eyebrows twitched slightly.

"Ehhhh..." She scratched her head sheepishly, "The door wouldn't open, so I tried with a bit more force." She replied and continued eating the candy.

I sighed. Of course, Milim would be the only person incapable of opening a door normally in this world.

"Okay, then why are you here again?" I asked

"I like the food here, especially the sweet ones," Now that I think about it, wasn't there something about the dragon worshippers in her territory only serving raw vegetables or something? "By the way, why are you like this?" She asked.

"Like what?" I didn't understand what she meant.

"You seem sad."

"Huh?" Do I seem sad?

"Don't worry. I'm not." I tried to brush it off.

"It's impossible to lie to me, so I know you are lying."

I chuckled. I completely forgot Milim had that skill, "Maybe I'm... It's just that things happened."

"Whenever I'm feeling down, I like to punch stuff."

I chuckled, "Yeah, it seems like something you would do."

"Yeah! So how about we fight?" She asked, excited.

I chuckled again, "We could fight, but then the cake would go to waste," I didn't want to fight her just yet.

From what I learned about Milim, while she often acts childish, she is very smart. However, with her personality that often overlooks other people and her doing whatever she wants to, coupled with her straightforward approach, it could often be overlooked.

"So, are you sad because Guy dumped you?" She asked.

I choked on the air hearing that, "W-What?" How did he get involved in this?

"Weren't you two together?" She asked, tilting her head.

"NO!"

I take back what I said about her...

---

After my small talk with Milim, I was left alone again.

I groaned in annoyance as my mind decided to show my pictures of Guy and me, "Mio, bring all the alcohol we have... I need to erase this from my mind," I said, rubbing my forehead.

Of all people, Milim could choose to mention why did she need to bring up Guy?

"If it's about the thing Lady Milim said, then you should worry the shadow generals will support you." She said, and I could hear the amusement in her voice.

"Mio..."

"Sorry, my liege," She chuckled.

---

After turning down my Abnormal Condition Resistance and getting drunk, I decided to go to the Jura Forest and fight the monsters until my mind forgot about, "Ekhmm..." I coughed. Forget That.

"It has b-been... a, a, a long time s-s-since I fought with my f-fist," I said, having slight difficulty standing without wobbling from side to side.

As I ventured deeper into the forest, I encountered several monsters. With every encounter, I swiftly defeated them with a single punch, much like a certain bald hero.

However, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I continued on, but I completely ignored it due to my drunken state.

Nevertheless, the forest seemed to be alive with danger, and I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me from the shadows, and it wasn't my shadows.

As I walked further, I noticed that the trees grew thicker and the bushes became denser. It was becoming more and more difficult to see where I was going. Or was it my vision that became more blurry?

Suddenly, I heard a rustling in the bushes. My heart raced as I prepared to face whatever lay ahead. Was it because I was drunk that I got on guard?

But to my surprise, a small creature emerged from the bush.

When I looked closer at it, I recognized it as a normal cat, but why was it purple? It looked at me with curiosity and tilted its head to one side.

I cautiously approached the cat, holding out my hand. It sniffed at my fingers before nuzzling against my palm. I couldn't help but smile at the small creature. It seemed to have no intention of harming me.

"H-Hey, little guy, w-want to join me?" I asked for some reason expecting it to reply, but instead, need to doge the cat's claws, "Little girl?"

"Hmpf!" It huffed before hopping onto my head.

"You're a cute one," I chuckled, "M-Maybe I should k-keep you."

It tried to bite me, but I ignored it, "Hey, hey, hey, don't be like that."

"Meow?"

"No, I'm not drunk..." I answered my new companion.

"Meow..."

"I said I'm not drunk," I replied, almost falling over the air.

I continued my monster-slaying journey, now accompanied by the small companion. For some reason, I get a feeling it's a she.

...

Ahh, right, it tried to bite me when I called her a guy.

We encountered more monsters along the way, but with my new companion by my side, they were no match for us. Well, I did all the fighting, but I think my cat friend was trying not to fall off my head.

Violet POV:

After, I decided to visit the material world in a small cat form, which is how I ended up in the Jura Forest.

That's when I found an interesting boy. He was walking, or should I say try walking in the magicules-filled forest. He looked drunk, but that's not what made him interesting. Even monsters would get magical poisoning so close to Veldora. So how can this kid no older than eighteen even be alive in this forest?

I even tried to scare him with my Demon Lord Haki, but he completely ignored it as if he didn't even see it. That's why I decided to jump on his head and follow him to see what he was. I can kill him later if he bores me. Actually, he isn't that bad looking, so I could have some fun before killing him.

I saw him fight monsters... No, that wasn't a fight. He only needed one punch to kill them.

That was until we were met with a sleeping dragon. I'm surprised he isn't freaking out seeing him.

"Hey, do you want to know the best way to wake up a sleeping dragon?" He asked me, and I started sweating. Is he crazy?

He started using magic to make a large metal rod before going to the dragon's back and...

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
