2 Shadow

After one long month , Max(my roommate /little brother) was adopted by a couple. Seeing this scene , I was a little sad , but that's how life work.

Two hours later, I remained alone in the room , so I decided to try my power , buy after I trained for more than ten times and I didn't succeeded,I was a little discouraged.

Thinking about how can I use my power was my daily routine for the next weeks.

After three or so weeks I successfully get the hang of my power.

Basically, I can use my shadow as a spy , but was limited to 50 meters.

The next thing I found about my shadow was that it can be used as a weapon,well I named a weapon ,because one night I spotted a rat in my room so I tried to command my shadow to ,,eat'' that rat and in the next moment I was shocked by the scene I saw.

My shadow engulfed the rat and start devoring it , after one minute the rat disappear and my shadow returned to my , but I am one hundred percent sure that my shadow was getting a little big, not much ,but you can see a tiny shadow there following my shadow as a little pet.

From that day, I start hunting down rats and bugs .One year later I was adopted by an old man that proclaimed itself as a grandmaster.

And for the next 11 years a trained with him. Of course I start going to school and I was now in highschool,but here it's the problem, I was handsome ,too handsome for my safety and I had to fight daily with the delinquents. Well I it was more like practicing with most of them, but Neil was one of the leaders and he was way more powerful than me and more skilled as he was one of the boxers, so I was beaten by him more than one time, but every time I was defeated by him , I will go home and train with my master .

By the way when I was seven I found that the the Wayne family were killed and only Bruce survived.

At the start of the second semester Max was transferred at my high school as well as Pamela.

She disappeared one day and the whole orphanage was scared ,but after some weeks of trying to find her , they decided to declare that she disappeared and the orphanage will not be responsible for her safety.

Hearing that statement I was angry, but my master trained me in the way of chi and I was able to calm myself, but today seeing her , I was shocked , because I tried to fond her with my master help and the only thing that I found was that she signed up to something.

Well I can guess what that something was ,but I decided to see if she is Pamela that I knew once.

"Class , these two are Max Hill and Pamela Isley.They will be your new classmates."

After introducing them to us , the teacher signaled the duo to find a spot in the class. Max was the first one to see me and immediately he was near me.

"Brother , I found you. Can I stay here?"

"Of course, but Max why were you transferred here?"

"Long Short story I almost killed my teacher ."

"How?"

"He tried to rape my sister , Alex.My fucking sister.When I found him and my sister almost naked and crying , I rushed at him and .. Forget it."

"Max..."

I was interrupted by the teacher "Boys, we are in the class. So please stop speaking and listen to the lesson ."

"Sorry teacher"

After class , I decided to go to the cafeteria with Max. There I tried to learn more about him , but I failed. The only thing that I found was that piece of information about what happened with his sister.

At night I tried to use my power to tail some thugs ,well I didn't want to tail them , but Pamela was followed by five men and I didn't want to see her hurt or raped.

In these nine years , my shadow become relatively big and now I'm sure that I can kill a human being with it.

As I was trained by my master Muay Thai and CQC plus some parkour and sneaking techniques , I was able to follow them close enough to hear them.

"Well we scored big today boys. Look at that ass."

"Haha , sure . We will exercise tonight."

Hearing what they said I was starting to get angry and I decided to attack the them.

Jumping from the building right on the head of one of the thugs and snapping it, I killed my first human.Well my first human scum.

The rest of the group was shocked by my appearance and they were looking dumbfounded at me.

Seeing that they were dumbfounded, I decided to attack immediately. Using my shadow I attacked the one in the back and with my fists I punched the first thug .

When my fist collided with his face , the rest of the thugs snapped out and start attacking , well at least two attacked.

After ten minutes I won the fight , but I was injured by one of them.Well the wound wasn't that bad , but it was still a knife wound.

Using my shirt , I treated my wound. As for my shadow, as I was fighting , he start devouring another thug and now I can see a shadow like person standing right in front of me.

At first I was scared of it , but after I saw that this was my shadow.

"Can you understand me?"

I was shocked again , because the shadow nodded at my question. I decided to let him devour the last three thugs . As he was devouring , I was checking how much I gained from this fight. Five hundred dollars was the sum I gained . After another half an hour I decided to go home.

My shadow become even bigger and I can see slightly a tiny shadow forming near my shadow.

As I was walking out of the alley , I found Pamela looking at me with a smile on her face.

"Big boy, you are something. When we were children you were so scared of fights and now? You can kill. But don't get to arrogant now, because you can die immediately from one attack."

Hearing her I noticed some roots coming towards me. In the next second I flew from that location. Why? Because I can't fight her. She's way stronger than me , plus the fact that she can poison me and then kill me , but I'm thinking about something .

Why would Pamela attack me? As I was thinking , I heard a voice.

"Don't be scared big boy, I won't kill you."

"Do you think I can trust your words?"

"No , but you don't have a choice. See you tomorrow big boy."

"Fuck, I'm fucked. Let's see ...she will make the botanical garden as her base but that will be later , as for now I need to prepare . Gotham will become dangerous."

I knew that my dream was to be a hero ,but I can't be like other heroes so I will be a hero that will help citizens ,but I will kill bad guys or anyone that will try to stop me.
