Prologue

The night was moonless and windy. A little boy of about the age of 6,sat on his grandfather's legs, his adorable face contorted in confusion.

  "General?" He called.

The older man looked down at him, "Yes, your royal highness?"

"Father is the King right? And a King should be honored and respected. Right? "

The General nodded," Of course, son. "

" But when I followed father to Alatrin,King Thor made father do some lowly things. Like kissing his feet and even mocking him before the elders and ministers. And the guards didn't do anything. They just watched father get humiliated. Why, grandfather?" He asked, wishing to satisfy his curiosity.

The General sighed, his eyes looking ahead of them, into the dark Knight.

  "Son?"

"Yes, Grandfather? " He answered, knowing he would be fed with what exactly caused the madness that took place earlier that day.

" You know our country is under Alatrin, don't you? "

He nodded." Let me tell you how that came to past. "

The little prince sat up, his ears attentive, wanting to know the root of it all.

" Years ago, long before your father met your mother, he was in love with a maiden, from Alatrin. Her name is Delilah. He loved her with his heart, but little did he know, that Delilah was a green snake under the green grass. She was a shadow out to destroy him. On their wedding day, the soldiers of Alatrian attacked us. They captured our people and took over our country. At first, we all wondered how we were attacked so suddenly, but we then found out that it was Delilah who sold us out. "

The young prince frowned," But we are powerful. "

" We are, son. But our enemies found out our weakness, through Delilah, whom your father had given his heart and soul to. We were all rendered powerless and Alatrin took over us. Although they humiliated your father by still leaving him as the King, portraying him as an inferior and powerless King who can do nothing for his people but bow to the King of Alatrin and wash his feet. Delilah married the King of Alatrin later on."

The Prince's face hardened. How dare they humiliate his father like that?

" Can't we fight back? I don't want to see my father shamed again! He's a King! Not a slave!"

The General patted his shoulder, "Some things are better left the way they are, son. We are all going to perish if we wage war against Alatrin. He rules this Gamel Empire as you know."

He shook his head stubbornly, "No! No Grandfather. He doesn't! And I'll make sure i restore my father's country. We are the Glycenias, not Alatrians, and I won't let them treat us like this continously! We have to fight for the freedom of our people, Grandfather. Please."

The old General slowly shook his head, feeling pity for the little boy who was raging over the disgraceful treatment of his father by the Alatrian King.

"Don't you want to restore our country to its glory?" The boy inquired, his deep black eyes gazing up at his doubtful grandfather.

"I do. But it's a death attempt, my son."

"Oh! But I don't care! I'll make sure destroy Alatrian and everyone of its inhabitants. I'll make the King kiss my father's feet . Queen Delilah will lose her crown and her life along the way. I'll humiliate and destroy their royal family  they way they've done to us. We'll go back to what we were before that 'delilah' came along. That is my promise to my people as the next King of Glycenia. I'll free my people from slavery. " He said with so much rage and determination.

King of Alatrin will pay for all he's done.
