46 Spider Nest (2)

Crow, one of the three most powerful individuals in the Outer City Area, had died effortlessly at the hands of James and Gurk. However, he could not even come close to the man who had arrived in the [Spider Nest], a few dozen minutes after George arrived.

[White Wolf]

A man who had supressed ghouls and humans for two decades, getting stronger as time went, strong enough to make the Melvinger Magical Society afraid to wander in the Outer City Area. In a way, White Wolf could be considered a king. King of the slums perhaps, but a king nevertheless.

The aura he released was very intimidating. Lady Hubert was shaking slightly as she could sense the killing intent and ferocity that came out of White Wolf's body. As for James, his experience allowed him to remain cold-blooded, but his eyes were revealing deep caution when it came to dealing with this man.

Without a doubt, White Wolf was an anomaly. It was incredibly rare for werewolf to reach the 2nd rank, because the organic consumption requirements to reach this realm of strength was just too high. Because werewolves were basically hybrids between humans and magical beasts, they also happened to be excellent source of material. Many acolytes would kill for an opportunity to experiment on them, especially since they possessed high regeneration perks. Because of this reason, werewolves would do anything to avoid being seen, and live a life of hiding.

However, White Wolf had taken control of the Outer City Area over the years, and maintained order by feeding on those who opposed him. He was a monster gifted with intellect and strength. And more importantly, he possessed high talent, otherwise he would have never reached the second rank of the acolyte realm.

George did not come here to negotiate with such a powerful monster.

He needed authority and insurance. His biochip allowed him to simulate battle outcomes and the state of the war, but there were too many variables yet. In order to fully control this war, he needed to eliminate those variables. White Wolf, whose power was nearly equal to his, was a liability he needed to eliminate.

Fortunately, his identity as a medicine king and alchemist had somehow made his most powerful political opponent careless. Alchemists were usually weaker than other acolytes, because the amount of time that needs to be dedicated to the craft was just too high to excel in other areas.

However, George was different. His biochip allowed him to synthesize and understand knowledge he ingested much faster than others, allowing him to walk several paths at the same time, with more depth than others. His biochip was a tool that allowed him to bloom his talent in several paths, and others would underestimate him for this.

George knew that White Wolf had not come alone. In the tavern alone, he could sense a dozen werewolves in hiding, and more than thirty of them outside. Although most of them were just rank 1 werewolves, with preparatory knight or knight physiques, they were definitely strong enough to take on the Dragon Pavilla Knight Order, if they successfully transformed and used their hunting formations.

White Wolf possessed an army that could become a trump card against orcs.

But George had brought sixteen knights he had personally trained. These knights were stronger, faster and more proficient than average knights. They had access to feedback from his biochip, and he had pushed them past their limits.

So what if these werewolves were incredibly strong.

In the first place, George was not someone who followed stereotypes.
